I've been looking all over, but haven't been so fortunate. On one of my rigs with only 1 AMD card will only show "Interface Offline"..

I've tried restarting Awesome Miner, rebooting the PC, changing pools, and algorithms but it doesn't change anything. Any tips?

Thank you in advance.

does it hash ? and just doesn't show in AM ? if so what are your api settings.

on a side note, also check your windows firewall settings, it could simply being blocked from listening from your network.

I added both folders to exclusion list and it still gives me the same error and the same "trojan" shows up in defender. What's coinminer!bit ? I never had this problem before and I've been using awesomeminer for a long time.

it only does this with Claymore eth miner since the update

The stratum difficulty could be higher on the 2 card system resulting in fewer shares per minute. Check your stats on your pool if they allow that.

All three cards are on the same machine and connecting tot he same pool. The weird thing is that when the miners first start the share count goes in favor of the pair, but after a while they start to even out.

that's pretty normal, like Timgt said, check your accepted hashrate on the pool, as long as it's consistent it wouldn't be a problem. Just means you get fewer high difficulty shares less often than the low difficulty shares. Many pools adjusts difficulty based on your hashrate (vardiff) and that's most likely what you are seeing as the share count goes.

exclude the folders under AppData/Roaming as well. also delete the claymore miner zip file so it redownloads...sometimes intervention from AV means corrupted download and AM can happen to not know and trying to open corrupt zip file.

excluding roaming solved the problem, thanks!

Hi,

It may be a bug or something I did wrong but one thing is not working for me.
I share the same profit profile with two miner. When it comes to mining with exacavator (in Lyra in this case), one does it well, the other one keep trying to mine eth or eth+pasc, eth+sia, ...
Even when I ujust leave MPH checked it goes on NH.
I leave you some screenshots ask me if you want an API report or other details.

Except that exverything is working well, it could always be better of course, like checking the real hashrate on the pool, the balance on the pools and so compare the estimate revenue with the pool revenue. And simplify the benchmarking, it should be easyer to test different miners soft on the same algo to keep the best one.

Keep going your software is a really good alternative  Wink

Hi guys,

Is there a way to schedule a rule to change my power limit of my GPUs. I can see that in rules I can create a time triggered rule that performs a device command to change the GPU clocks but there is no power limit option.

I have onpeak/offpeak power tariff and peak power is over double the cost of off peak so I want to run an aggressive power limit during peak times and push the cards more during off peak.

I also can write C# so if this isn't easily doable through the gui is it possible to do via the API?

Also, yes I have a premium licence.

Thanks.

Hi, how to enble secondary mining in excavator?

Anyone knows if this bug was fixed ?

The secondary mining on excavator is not starting. Any solution ?

Patrike, can you fix the bug  with unnecessary connections, because pools now have 6 times more connections because of this AM bug and are filled with connections without any hash.

Also my statistics from pools are all a mess now, you have all algos to all pools connected when excavator is online.

This is wrong and should have been fixed by now.

Everyone noticed what AM did with this bug?
Zpool went to 40k fake miners and went offline because of your bug, Patrike ! You make 8 connections or more for each excavator instance, to the pools and that is totally wrong, because only one is mining. Can't you read the excavator specifications ? Why do you make so many connections Huh?

Isn't this a priority for you ?

while the extra connections from Excavator could be optimized, the fact that zpool had 40k miners and approx 50% of them are yescrypt botnets contradicts that it was AM that brought it down with the Excavator launcher.

AFAIK, Excavator don't mine Yescrypt....and most ppl probably don't primarily mine Yescrypt with GPU

But you do think it is ok to burst pools (that are already overloaded) with 8 times more connections without any purpose, just to mess the statistics and also fill pool connection limit so that everyone receives "connection refused".

Do you think this is acceptable ?

Hi,

I respond to almost every e-mail within a business day, so it must have been lost somewhere. There are however instances where I do answer an e-mail but it bounces back due to filters on the receiving side. Can you send me your e-mail address via PM and I will search for it?

The height of the Options dialog is about 785px. What is the resolution you are running in Windows, and is there any way to increase it? It also looks like the dialog is fully usable even if the very top and bottom isn't fully visible.

Hi,

There is no support for setting power limit via the rules today. I do have plans to improve the clocking profile concept for more flexibility (especially for mixed GPU environments), and making this feature available via the Rules is a good idea as well. Thanks for your feedback.

@Finnsk3 @Patrike
Why couldn't you set a timer to have it switch to a managed template? Where one template calls a high PL and the 2nd calls a low?

Hi,

I would actually be interested in both the log file for Awesome Miner and for the log file on the Remote Agent where the miner is running. Could you send me those via e-mail?

The Awesome Miner Log File can be found via the toolbar Tools -> Log File. Awesome Miner Remote Agent has a log file as well. It can be accessed from the Remote Agent icon in the lower right corner of the screen, where the right-click menu has the option Log File.

The pool balance feature is currently being developed and if all goes well the first version of it will be made available during next week.

Can't benchmark any dual algorithms. I'm getting "No pools specified" every time. Benchmarking single Ethereum works.

Is this for Claymore Ethereum Dual miner or Excavator? Excavator doesn't support benchmarking of dual mining, but that should also have been prevented by Awesome Miner.

Can you please send me the Awesome Miner log file for this?
