why use this instead of just mining with dstm and claymore or cgminer ?

A question Patrike,
I noticed the new version from yesterday of NemosMiner has a lot more miners for various algos (ccminerpolytimos, RavenMiner225RVN, ccminerskunk, and many more ) than you have by default in AM.
Can you improve benchmarking as I suggested in the past, to have an in depth mining that will also select the most profitable miner for each algo ?
Also NemosMiner implemented a better profit switching algorithm and many users will switch from AwesomeMiner to Nemos soon because it offers better daily income than AwesomeMiner just because it picks miners and algos are switching in a smarter way. NemosMiner is computing and using a parameter called TrustLevel, that is a difference between estimated and actual 24h profitability for each algo from each pool.
What do you think ?
Thanks for your feedback on this. There are a few areas where I'm planning to do improvements. Improving the profit switcher is one of them, and that includes both making it more configurable, but also better in terms of predictions. I've been thinking of making use of the servers I have for Cloud Services to also keep track of the profit trends for all these popular pools. Then it's not your local Awesome Miner that needs to be running for a long time to figure this out, as you might have reboots and similar. However, it would still only be about what the pools are presenting - if their Actual 24h value would a bit incorrect (in case of a fault or scam), it wouldn't be possible to detect. Although the Profit Factor can be manually set in Awesome Miner today for these pools. it would be great to have the software track the actual payouts. However, the total number of pools and algorithms are probably around 100 by now, and actually mine on all of them for a long period of time to track the pool performance is possible but very time consuming. Thank you, Patrike. Because there are many miners having more algos and also new profitable algos, similar to Raven for example that was very profitable for the last 2 weeks (it was around 30% better than x17) and other algos that are not very used are helping spreading the miners to mine different coins. Having some services on your server will also help, because an NGINX server with optimized cache can handle a lot more traffic and 3rd party websites that are now overloaded by very large number of requests. I really do think it will help everyone if you can implement a better benchmarking that will also use a lot more mining software that for example you can see in Nemos Miner 3.0 that has at least 5 more variations just from ccminer, with optimized intensity and code. Also because some GPUs are failing for some intensity settings it will reduce a lot of trials from users if AM can benchmark all capable mining software for each algo and select the best mining software for an algo (eventually intensity adjustments can help if possible). Thanks again and have a great day, Patrike.

After updating to Awesome Miner 4.5.5, Awesome Miner continuously switches to algorithms that are not the most profitable and then even if I stop the process and start the miner again..... It just starts mining the same coin. The only way to make it start mining the most profitable algorithm again, is to completely close Awesome Miner and then start it again. I have to stop using Awesome Miner

AM isn't mining software, it still uses miners like DSTM, CGMINER, etc but it allows much for flexibly pool changing and it's biggest advantage is profit switching all automatically

For the images, you can already today put a png-file named for example LTC.png (use the coin short name) in one of these folders, and Awesome Miner should pick it up: - The folder where AwesomeMiner.exe is located - The user folder %appdata%\AwesomeMiner\
Sweet I'll make use of this right away!

FOUND A BUG in AM
Clear bug found in AM 4.5. I have 5 miners defined as both profit miner and regular miners. I have Autostart enabled for my Profit Miner configurations which works fine; however, my "regular" miners (same 5 systems) I have Autostart INACTIVE yet whenever a reboot rule kicks in (lack of miner progress, stuck miner) the regular miner auto-starts along with the profit miner. The regular non profit miner should not be auto starting at all as I have triple-checked that AutoStart is turned off for my 5 non-profit miners. I have restarted AM, have the latest version/upgrade and check, then unchecked the autostart function for my non-profit miners---keeps auto starting anyway regardless of the setting....

AwesomeMiner Coin Updater 0.6- Did you know that adding 0 and -1 to an array of values kind of destroys a calculated average? I did! But I didn't check for it!
- Fixed numerous bugs in the averaging function (thank you all you eagle eyed mathematicians out there)
- Added support for Crex24 exchange
- Increased coin updating from every minute to 2 minutes (some explorers were banning us)
You can find the latest update: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2979494.0

Patrick,
Can we choose to order the coins value and online services by profit and not by revenue? Some algos take more power and the profit is lower than the revenue...

Is there a way to automatically update benchmarks over time?

v 4.5.5
Profit switching calculation seemed bugged. right clicking details of each miner now shows profit per day which works for individual coins/algos profit calculation, but mix that up with Online Services which I think give revenue per day or due to MH/GH calculation (this was not Yiimp, but NiceHash) my miners were mining random Sha3 and Blake2s..
Online Services shows Eth Equi Neoscrypt Lyra Nist
Details Tab: Sha3 Blake2s random coins and everything else negative
On the same profit profile....disabling all online services restored more or less normal behaviour....looks like profit/revenue conflict and online services (predefined or User Defined) took precedence regardless coins tab profit info.

I have issues when try to benchmark any dual algorithms because I'm getting "No pools specified" every time. Instead, when I try to benchmark single Ethereum, it works.

New question can I go back to version 4.5 ? updated to the 4.5.5 but there is a bug with displaying the revenue/profit.. its showing 0.00 on all coins was working with 4.5
Edit all good noticed I had unknowingly changed the setting for display currency to VND. changed back to USD and back to normal
Updated to v4.5.5 and $us dollar revenue/profit now shows $0.00 for my coins. What do I need to set this right?

Quark Bug:
There is a bug when using Quark algo. It is not calculating profit correctly. If I set my profit profile to 50MH/s with Quark the coins profit is far higher than if i were to change the coins set algo to something else and set that algo to 50MH/s in the profit profile.

Try enable NiceHash in online services and profit switching (for benchmarking purposes only if you don't normally use them) when benchmarking, only need to tick eth and it'll bench all dual algos claymore supports to save, you have to tick all the ones with benchmarked results

I've been using this for months without issues but today I want to make a new template that mines only ethereum on MPH. My existing template mined etihash on MPH. The only difference being the port number. But I can't do it! No matter what I try, making new pools etc, when I run it, it fails saying no pool specified.
The pool I want to use: asia.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20535 The software I want to use: EthDcrMiner64.exe
The above works fine on port 17020 (mining etihash) But I can't for the life of me work out how to create a working pool/template that is identical except for changing the port.

haven't used MPH extensively for a while but if you define your own pool, did you try put your username.rig in the wallet address field as well as the Worker name field (or your actual wallet address in the wallet address field)? see if that works...I had to do that with a few ethash pools I'm using now.
