Awesome to see we made it to Poloniex! Everyone make sure to do some trading there so that we can stay!  I have a feeling that Mr. Latapie might have done some behind the scenes chatting with the staff there.

Coin is doing good on Polo. I sold a small batch at low prices making it easier for people to buy. We need to spread this coin more gradually so more people have a vested interest to hold.

Press let me know if we want to do a giveaway at Polo.

cheers

a small giveaway may encourage some more people into investing in the coin. HYP is doing well just now on coin-swap. almost 0.8BTC traded in the last 24 hours Cheesy

Regarding the auto spread and split feature in cc as mentioned earlier, with current difficulty its not needed any more.
I have given up on the spreading.
But maybe you could change the way the stack gets split ?
Currently it splits every stack in 50/50 regardless the amount.
It would be a great feature to only split stacks above 1600 or whatever value user prefers.
Orbitcoin is doing that if I am correct.
I'd like something like this
IF block_size < 3200
AND age < 2
THEN merge
the block_size and age value should be changeable of course.

What's the point? Well, I have blocks of 1600 HYP, which prevent losses up to 30 day without logging in. But I have my wallet open 24/7 most of the time, so I could stake faster by having blocks of 3200.
Thing is, it is tedious to do it manually without losing to much age. This automatic feature would take care of both the transition from 1600 to 3200 AND take care of future block splitting too.
Icing on the cake, there could be prompt asking "how often do you plan to open your wallet?" You enter the value and the wallet takes care of auto-optimisation.

(I think I already suggested the last part earlier)

Update: thanks foxi Smiley

I agree and this is something on my list. The concept is relatively simple, but the implementation of the concept is the difficult part.

Talking about a ninja launch !!

Got me by surprise as well, damn what a shame I did not manage to grab some cheap coins.
On the bright with 3 exchanges we should get more exposure which is good for volume.
In the meantime, we can happily continue staking and accumulate the rewards.

In line with David suggestion, Press, would it be possible to let the user select their preferred values for splitting and merging ?
Different users as often is the case, have different preferences.

Regarding current ui and upcoming ui.
In the overview tab or 1st tab when started up :

I think changing the following would make more sense :
"Balance"  should be replaced by "Spendable"
"Stake" should be replaced by "Unspendable" or "Staked"
"Unconfirmed" no need for change.
Finally :
"Balance" or "Total"

Alright I will see if I can incorporate those changes.

Also I am looking on community feedback for GUI styling. Here is one version I have put together. Still a work in progress.  Full custom GUI is not an option in the short term, so styling should suffice for now.

Note that the transaction icons still need to be designed.

I like it! Easy to read, fits nicely with the color scheme and icons.  Nice....  Cheesy

as to me, the black background is more readable, so probably it would be better to make a switch option to let people to choose a color they are comfortable with. and there is also a little bug in the coin control. on ubuntu 13.04 i can't sort blocks by amount, and the age tab puts the oldest blocks in the center of the column.
great work!

hmmmm

I like it other than the tx icons don't seem to 'pop' against that background color.

red is too contrast with this background, and the color of tx icons is vice versa not enough contrast to the background, imho. also the block with net status icons looks slightly not like a design element but a glitch.

I like it too, looks flat design to me (not exactly, but pretty close). Only thing to change (save icons) is the color of the selected text. Golden is not contrasted enough. Try darkgoldenrod, maybe.

I would like to see if I can set some of the stylesheet elements as variables that can be changed by the wallet holder on runtime... not sure if it will work but it is worth a try.

Hi guys, quick question, I downloaded the windows wallet and ran it but it has been stuck at 48549 blocks remaining on the synchro for the past 2 hours. Any ideas? Thanks!
