Last month shows an increase of the inflation of HYP. It only means the staking is getting more and more efficient and produces a stake ever closer to 1000 which is the max stake for this coin. Since the stake percentage isn't decreasing with stake weight, it's fair to assume that inflation will eventually level out and then decrease much like a POW-coin with a 1000 block-reward. The thing that really surprises me though, is the absence of strong price-erosion due to this enormous inflation thus producing an impressive market cap. A most interesting experiment indeed. If I read this correctly, price-erosion means price deceases or decline. Ummm.... I still think that inflation isn't an aspect to even consider in HYP. In like say HBN, CAP, TEK, yes, there is some PoW external to PoS that does act as an inflationary aspect. Heck, in BTC, there's another 56% of inflation coming to reach the 21M cap. In HYP, each HYP coin acts as combined asset + minting hash. Think of it like this. If everyone just sat on their HYP right now and let them stake, where is the inflation? Say the average user has 100 HYP, then 160 HYP a month later. If everyone has the same average amount, then there isn't any inflation. Just an idea... No, it's still inflation, just not as crazy a rate as 750 percent suggests. Plus, it's open ended. However, it's very predictable, so it's a stable rate once max subsidy is general. It's pretty interesting. If adoption outruns inflation, which is possible, then it's value could continue to rise or at least remain stable.

Been thinking a bit about this lately, and my conclusion is that HYP rewards stakers, but may be a bit harsh for traders.

If you stake for long enough, even if the price goes down, you'll make money. Or so I'm betting I'm actually fully in profit now, but that's because I was in from the beginning and had to sell a bunch. I'd be happier had I been able to keep it. It is one of the best for staking.

I'm down in loss right now, but I'm still buying HYP. Accumulating BTC until HYP hits a floor before I strike

A noob question: This is a Fork of TRC right? People who have TRC before the fork can put their wallet into HYP block chain right? So these people can sell their TRC and then put the wallet into the HYP block chain ok? So the can sell their coins twice right?

Yes. HYP original distribution was based on the state of the TRK blockchain sometime in july. So these people can sell their TRC and then put the wallet into the HYP block chain ok?

No. What you do with your TRK wallet now has no influence on your HYP. Only the balance you had at the fork block matters. Simiarly, if you bought TRK after the fork block, you don't get extra HYP either. And once you sell some HYP, you can't get them back by manipulating your TRK or HYP wallet.

HyperStake v1.0.7 - Not Mandatory, but Lots Of New Featureshttps://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.7For updated themes, please replace your themes folder. And make sure it is located in the same place as your hyperstake-qt.exeSince the last beta release the following has been added or changed:- 3 new themes - magma, celestial, and bluelights - exportdifficulty RPC call, allows you to export each blocks difficulty to a spreadsheet - checkbox added to sendcoinsdailog to allow you to return change to your sending address - add "split block" which allows easy resizing of blocks - raise threshold so that stakes only split on larger blocks - add weight to getstaketx RPC call - fix and update stake for charity New items that were included in the last beta releases- Poloniex day and night themes - Improved syncing to be about 3 times faster - Improved syncing to not get hung up on certain blocks as long - add stake time estimate per block in coin control - change stake estimate to be a time range - add stake calculator - add custom change address ability for stake for charity - change coin control dates to be derived from blockchain - add unlockformint - update code to be compatible with qt5 Thanks to Moneromooo, ZeeWolf, MyEagleFlies, Shrykez, billotronic, iantunc, and all the others that helped make this version of the wallet. I have never seen such a level of hard and good development work. From my NXT experience i can tell you that a super nice wallet is half of the first impression for a newcomer. Well Done!

- add "split block" which allows easy resizing of blocks
The info on the block size of each split block is very nice. I think I've found a bug: when selecting both SplitBlock and Return Change, the block is not split, but received all in a single block.
