Just installed the new wallet (1.0.7) and themes. I frankly didn't care about the themes until now. I'm more a function guy over form.

That being said

WOW!

That is amazingly cool Cheesy

Great work guys! I lost track, who did the themes?

where can i get the themes and how do i use them??
https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.7

download the themes folder and put it in the same directory as your HyperStake-qt (linux) or HyperStake-qt.exe (windows). I don't know what or if there is a file extension for mac.

Restart your client and there will be a "themes" dropdown. Click on the themes and feast your eyes on some awesome art Cheesy

For the Mac client they are already packaged in the app itself and are a little buggy still

Would anyone be interested in a multipool that pays out in HYP?? Thoughts?? I believe it would drive up the overall price of HYP which is good for everyone..

That being said, it would cost a total of 1 BTC to have Coinkings make this happen. I can't ask that Presstab pay this solely, so are there any ppl willing to donate to an address held by Presstab to get this rolling??

I think a better idea would be to get some people involved in building one. It doesn't cost 1btc to build a pool, but it does cost time. I do not know how to set up the autotrading/autoswitching part, but both NOMP and CoiniumServ have this capability, and neither is terribly difficult to configure once you have the initial setup. In both cases the documentation ranges from terrible to nonexistent, but it can be figured out.

I cannot devote the necessary time to do this myself, but I can help.

That's more to the point, I don't have the time either, but I do have miners that I can point at the pool. These guys have been great in adding other coins we have requested in the past. It is just a suggestion though. Plus, there is an on going cost of running the pool, as well as having to deal with any issues that may arise (as we all know they will at some point).. Smiley

I recommend we get our own multipool built from thepool.pw, qbk uses them and locohammerhead and a few others confirmed that they do good work. 0.75 btc for a HYP dedicated pool is not a bad deal, but i don't know much about PoW mining and pools.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=733216.0

I would be willing to throw 0.25 btc of my personal money at it.

Any thoughts?

The info on the block size of each split block is very nice.
I think I've found a bug: when selecting both SplitBlock and Return Change, the block is not split, but received all in a single block.
Could be confusing this with other controls I have in place.  I just used split block and return change at the same time and worked well.
I coded in certain reasons for it to default to one block:
- if you try to send to an address that isn't yours (this was causing problems when I was testing, so I took away the ability)
- if you try to send to more than one address at a time
- if you enter a number of blocks to split to that is not an integer
Hi Presstab,
Thanks for all the hard work, I have seen some activity in my wallet last night and was surprised when I looked closer:
- one block staked and split in two of size 760. I thought that the wallet now does not split if the output is below 1000?
or is that only if the input is below 1000? (ie can the output be 2 blocks of 500?)
- the default fee is still showing as 0.00001 so when I had combined two blocks to get one of size 2000.17 and typed the output that I wanted to transfer, I had to tell to generate a block of 2000.16999 and it showed the default fee, then (as usual) complained that the size was larger and it needed a 0.00001 fee, then the output was 2000.16974 which means that 0.00025 more was subtracted than indicated.
That is not a large problem when shifting money around in your own wallet (just a little nuisance) but if you are trying to pay someone and he does not get what you promised to send, then I do not feel comfortable, or I need to send always more than the max fee that I have seen.
Is the fee structure specified somewhere, or can you fix the indication of the actual fee, because the popup still claims it is going to
subtract 0.00001 even after already taking that into account when formatting the transfer, so the wallet knows it is not enough and
the popup message simply has the wrong (default) amount.
Thanks!

Concerning the fee, I am having a bit of  trouble getting it exact. The new fee calculation I put in there works perfectly for these very very microscopic dust transactions, but for larger transactions will give you a small bit of change.  I will be testing this a bit today and hopefully finding a solution. Keep in mind, that it should never send the receiver less, it will just make the transaction a bit too large and leave yourself with the extra change.

Concerning size. Right now it is supposed to be no smaller than 1k, but I have noticed some smaller blocks making their way through too. I beleive there may be some tweaking here too as well.

Everyone keep in mind that 1.0.7 is not perfect, its almost like a beta version, but I was sick of having everything listed of beta  Cheesy  So please don't hesitate to report any bugs. I hope for version 1.1 of HYP to be the fully polished, minimal bugs wallet version.

HYP is a work in progress, and we can only make it better if we all work together. So far the community has been great and not been hesitant to pitch in where they can and help. It is awesome, you don't see that happening with too many other coins  Smiley

Monday is very important in crypto-currency.
- Monday Monero Missive
- HyperLoan Cheesy

As promised, today there will be not one, but two nominees. jaybeeuk, the first nominee, is keeping us in touch with the progress of his staking and will be joined by two persons.

The nominees are the one who have the most of +1 and/or added contributions and/or proved worthy in one way or another. So the choice is much easier than last time. We have two persons with several contributions and thus there are the ones selected for this week.
The lucky worthy winners are:

Paulsonnumismatics also proved particularly inventive and commited, since he plans to promote HyperLoan to his real-life customers too. This is the kind of initiative we need: beyond Cryptoland!

What you, as a nominee (not just a candidate) will have to do:

1. Create a dedicated address in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum Smiley
2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too.
3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4k) back to the originating address pHypLoanFPWT6awN1TYRQ4v3wD3yY1n8KT (courtesy of iDunk).

Happy loaning, happy stacking!

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

I would happily throw down on that (though the exact amount would depend on when you need the btc)

I got a question is it staking or stacking? I see both, but thought appropriate term was staking.

I'll throw something at it. Not much, cuz I don't have much. But if it supports scrypt, I'll point a miner at it.

Indeed they do support Scrypt rigs. I think its sha-256, scrypt, x11 and x13, in regards to hashpower i can also point some Scrypt power at it when it comes online Cheesy
