Just wanted to post my results for the Hyperstake Multipool. First let me say I am a MASSIVE hyperstake fan, as a hardcore cryptotrader , I have many coins, and I love my HYP. Here are my 24 hour results:

Scrypt 200mhs full 24 hours: 377.64644 HYP
X11 farm with 50 overclocked and optimized geforce 750ti using cuda 6.5 and latest geforce driver and latest ccminer: 66.057513 HYP

Thats what you can expect if your using about 15,000 watts of power for hashing.

Dont know if to laugh or cry.  I just looked at stats , pool has enormous hash, and paid out a grand total of 1000 HYP , so I got near half of that, not bad ..LOL . Call me when its starts paying, for now im done pissing in the wind. Let me be clear again.. Im NOT bashing HYP, but the pool needs some SERIOUS overhaul..ya ..ya.. its new..its beta.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I made 1.29 hyp for about 3/4 of a day at 2.07 MH. I have a rental rig pointed at it now with 85 MH/s scrypt, for three hours. We'll see how it rolls.

so expect about .0002 btc in HYP. Im SURE your rental cost more than that.

Yeah, it does. This is for support of the community and long term gains. I was afraid this would happen. I haven't the time to gain the expertise right now, or I would try to do my own multipool. I know the basics, but I do not know how to set up auto switching algorithms nor the bet way to set up trades.

Same here! I love the HYP, but I do NOT love donating to the local electric company, and they're the only ones in profit after I spent Sha, Asics and GPUs power for 30+ hours and picked up 323 HYP. A multipool for HYP sounds great in theory, but in practice not so much.
I agree, overhaul the payout, and I'll be back!  Smiley

The pools problem is the coin selection is limited.  I have contacted the dev to see if its possible to add more coins to the mine list.  Also I have 110 MH/s at the scrypt pool and got 159 HYP.  Looking today shares from yesterday are still being counted.  My experience with this pool at least with QBK is that they can take two three days to get going at full capacity.   This is because the coins they mine have low trade volume.  i wouldn't be surprised if you continue to receive payouts.

I'm guessing this pool uses the polo API.  If I can confirm this i can make a list of coin that will work for them specifically.

I think this is the best thing to do. Find some more profitable coins to be mined, and request that the operator adds them. It looks like the coin list is outdated at the pool.

Well this info is not outdated , here you go:

I noticed the pool was mining alot of hobonickels, so I used my mining of hobo as a comparison.

First here is my HBN address so anyone can verify: EuYNMYktk9ie5BKe3pCmV8m2JU2nkKGoGC

Second I am going to sway the numbers WAY in the pools favor buy using lowest priced HBN I can find and HIGHEST priced HYP I can find. I will also only use 2 decimals when counting my HBN. So say I earned 1.4567 HBN, when using my calculator I would only use 1.45 HBN (NOT ROUNDING).

I took a sample of 24 hours of my same equipment mining HBN. On October 22nd starting at 9:18am and ending on October 23rd at 9:19am I made a grand total of 677.85 HBN coins on same exact amount of scrypt hash power.

That converted today on cryptsy (worst priced exchange) at 2am (when I got paid) was .00006731 HBn/BTC

Under WORST case scenario I earned : .0456 BTC.

Buying HYP on the most expensive exchange I can find at the highest price possible. Found it at 2300 sat at https://coin-swap.net/market/HYP/BTC

So if you take .0456 BTC / .00002350 , you could have bought 1940 HYP.  I got 377 HYP, ohh and BTW, I did NOT include my 50+ GPU farm in these numbers, if I had, these numbers would be MUCH MUCH WORSE!!!!

Someone needs to go back to 2nd grade math. Im able to afford all this equipment, and have all day to use it because Im not a moron.

I'm not sure why someone would want to mergemine a PoS coin.
it be innovative, and definitely neat. Also both coins would benefit as stakers would help secure both networks and be rewarded for it.
As long as we are the coin to merge mine with and not the coin merge mining with another one, why not.

@Vegas,

That HBN comparison does not work at all without taking into account the difficulty for HBN at the time of your previous mining period versus the difficulty now. If the difficulty around that time was 10x lower, you would have 10x higher payout then compared to now... Likewise must consider the block reward, if it has changed in this time frame (I'm not familiar with HBN).

Check if you get another payout in the next 24h cycle, as it is possible that your hashing contributions have not all been paid out yet, even though you've stopped mining already. Remember that there is quite a bit of delay between hashing / maturing found blocks / dumping that on exchanges / purchasing HYP / paying out HYP to miners.

On a general note: One should not expect a multipool to ever be the most profitable way to obtain "your coin of choice". It is just the most convenient one, specially if it's PoS only, or if your hardware is not suitable to the mining algorithm in question. What the multipool offers, is the convenience of doing the coin selection and trading on your behalf, so you don't need to bother with it, and you know you'll get paid on the coin you want.
The price for this convenience is high'ish fees, and the caveat that the liquid BTC performance of the pool will not always be the best. That's just how all multipools work though. If you can afford the time & the patience, you're most likely to get a better deal by picking your coin manually, trading it for BTC, and then purchasing HYP.

And a quick off-topic side note: Are you nearing 3MH/s on them 750TI's doing x11 yet?  Wink
Cheers!

Looks to me that's its better to buy more HYP to increase your hashing power.
(That is if you see your pile of HYP as your mining rig as I do.)

Comparing POW with HYP I think we are still in stage 1, max. block reward.
Stage 2 and beyond is were block rewards are getting cut.

To be successful in POW :
-it costs BIG cash to mine efficient.
-you have to frequent upgrade your hardware.
-additional costs on power and maintenance.
-frequently switch coins for max profit.
This would easily costs you a couple of 1000's of USD.
Joining a pool or renting hash power makes sense for common people like me because of that.
But still it would cost you serious money.

Please correct me if I am wrong, don't know much about POW.
People who post critique with reasoning is not bashing.
Its healthy that it happens, food for thought as they say.

Ya.. good point lets look it up..

First the difficulty when I was mining: (Source; http://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/hobonickels-difficulty-chart)

To be fair my sample started at 9am and ended at 9am the next day. What I did it chose 9pm from both 24 hour samples as the diff fluctuates a bit.

First the diff I was mining on on Oct 22nd :

Then the difficulty the HYP pool was mining on last night': (the LOWEST its EVER been in the past 30 days, actually got down to a 20!!)

Yes my X11 farm hashes at 155 MhS

Another thing: if the pool sends me the additional 4000+ HYP im due, I will send it to you, but dont get your hopes up.

Any other questions ? Cheers.

Updating the stable wallet release to 1.0.7.1

Because version 1.0.7 had some technical errors with the block splitter (such as charging too much transaction fee), I have decided to release an updated version 1.0.7.1 that fixes several of the bugs reported. I suggest you update to this version, and I will be removing 1.0.7 from the OP and using 1.0.7.1 as the stable build.

Sorry guys, it just drives me nuts knowing that people are using a wallet with errors!   Roll Eyes

Presstab, I DO appreciate your fine work. You have one of the best coins out there. Your wallet is superior!! I wont say any more on the pool, im over it and I dont want to fud the thread. I simply wanted to let others know its not performing, and might want to avoid it for a bit, until things get right. Again, you are the best. Thank you.

If we could merge mine TRK, TEK,HYP,CAP,HBN, that would be crypto haven. I wonder how tranz will respond.. Tek is dying, so im sure they would be in. It would be a first "merge mined POS"!! If this happends.. anyone would be a fool to mine anything else.

My worry is if we do mergemine PoS and the coin we are mining goes off the rails (massive FUD storm, community goes sour etc) will it effect Hyperstake?  Since the two coins at that point would be closely related since it will be using the same share to validate among two block chains I would say it could take a toll on HYP.
