(These people should be sending me a commission...)

If you want to go the arm board route, I HIGHLY recommend these ::

http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G138745696275

They are bat shit crazy fast compared to the pi and have the option for eMMC for data storage vs the easily corruptible and slow sd card storage of the pi.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

wow staking has become incredibly difficult over the last few weeks... i have a block of nearly 800 coins with an age of 39 !  Shocked

Diff has started to stabilize and increase at a steady rate. You should stake soon. In future if you can try for larger block sizes around 3000.

question. At what age might it be worth resizing blocks size 1500 and under? For instance a block of 1200 that is 3 days old might stake faster if I combine it with other to make a block of 3000 (even though I'm resetting the coinage). So for a block of 1500 that is 5 days old, is it worth combining with others or should I just wait until it stakes it to combine with others?

On the Hyperloan thread im sharing some discoveries (as a noob) that im doing comparing how im stacking 4000 versus 4500 HYPs. Maybe you want to check it out, and tip... Oh wait, no tipbot here ;-)

This space is for lease, apparently.

I'm unsure as to where things stand with the block splitting and I know it's being worked on.  I had a ~4k block stake that did not split.  This happened right after I went to sleep so the first thing I did this morning was split it and lose a bit of age.  Not a big deal but it got me thinking.  Would it be possible to make it so that one could select whether or not a block will split after minting before it mints?

Last I heard, the splitting mechanism is not working as expected. Presstab is working on it. since his method of working on things generally means more bells and whistles, I'm happily waiting Cheesy

The last release had a mistake in the code, and pretty much every stake will combine if you use that wallet version.

I just made a new commit to github yesterday that allows the user to choose the stake split threshold by entering an RPC command. I think the more power given to the user to customize their portfolio the better. Will fix a few more things and get a new release out soon.

Ok I have fixed the DNS seeding, so newcomers wont need to manually add a node.
I have also fixed the stake split threshold to default to 1,000 HYP blocks or larger, and also have new RPC call setstakesplitthreshold <number>, that will allow you all to decide whats best for your wallet.

Any other bugs/important things that need to be done before releasing a new wallet version?

Besides that, I've got nothing regarding bug fixes. A web wallet would be awesome though and should be next thing Grin

No bugs that I can find.  With that said, perhaps an option to combine stakes or not combine.  One other option is to have a maximum block size option (i.e. one chooses to have 3000 coin blocks and another chooses to have 2500 coin blocks).

Just a suggestion for something I'd like to have Smiley

Yay! That is exactly what I hoped for, great to be able to configure the threshold!

I need an evidence that you claimed your address.
You can get some HYP with the faucet or by hanging on ##hyperstake.

Firstly if you havnt already done so make sure you join the HYP reddit page. I am developing a tip bot currently and plan on doing a weekly giveaway conpetition.
How is it going?

I think the more power given to the user to customize their portfolio the better.
I agree wholeheartedly. Empowerment is key.

New Monday, new nominations Smiley

As promised, this Monday there will be three winners, one more than last week (and two more than the one before).

But before I give the names, I would like to inform you that HyperLoan Logs has a lot of interesting post on how previous candidates are performing. Most excellent news, jaybeeuk (the winner of round 1) just staked! Chances are he will stake again before the end of the loan.
Round 2 nominees decided to follow the same strategy (one boring block at 4000) but at least one round 3 nominee is considering splitting block to experiment possible better returns. Still, I would like to mention paulsonnumismatics, who is particularly active at explaining how it goes and draw conclusions, on top of is plan to propose microloans to his customers. I decided to award him 500 HYP for this. HYPster and jaybeeuk also give details of advancement, so I give them 200 HYP. Finally, 100 HYP go to jaybeeuk for staking.

So, yes, the nominees for round 3. As planned, I chose according to time of waiting, contribution and presence of an address and accounts with less than 100 post had a malus. So you may already guess by looking at the waiting list. With no further ado:

Congratulations to all of you, you made it!

What you, as a nominee (not just a candidate) will have to do:

1. Create a dedicated address in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum Smiley
2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too.
3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4k) back to the originating address pHypLoanFPWT6awN1TYRQ4v3wD3yY1n8KT (courtesy of iDunk).

Happy loaning, happy stacking!

Edit: paulsonnumismatics, HYPster and jaybeeuk, please send me your regular address on top the HyperLoan address, for your bonuses.

Presstab, some suggestion for the OP. The first list could replace some existing entries. The second list is an addition.

How to get FREE HyperStake
