This is the reason i suggested giving a private key instead of sending the coins. Don't pay us back?? We yank it back anyways. Back then, I expressed the opinion that people could just transfer the coin and that would be over, but after all, we can notice it and more importantly, they would have to learn something more about HYP. But the main reason I was not that enthusiastic about it is that by then is that I did not completely understood the export and dump priv key thing. And was concerned it would be difficult to explain to others. These issues are over now so I could implement it. Still, I'd prefer to wait for triggers to be implemented, so we could have a time-based trigger. This is not as great as a real smart contract, since the trigger will have to be created by the receiver and we have no technical way to enforce it (contrary to a real smart contract), but that would be a great way to advance in the direction of smart contracts - we would need multisig, at a minimum. Time-lock and enforceable, and we may even prevent transfer of money to another address. Think Bitcoin Halo, ethereum/aethereum and BitBay (except the scam) here. HyperLoan toward smart contract? (escrow = bloating - I could as well be the escrow, then, no one would doubt my reputation - but I'd rather have something as automated as possible) Then again, this requires more dev and we don't have enough at the moment. Especially if we want to deliver webwallet - which is a higher priority than smart contracts, although a lower priority than multisend + trigger, since presstab is already on it. But the main issue about HyperLoan is not technical. As I said, the main reason I postponed this week's HyperLoan is that people did not even care to win. Winners did not contact me to give me an addrress and I suggest that in one month, those who gave me an address back then will not send the money back because they do not even know they have some HYP they won. Wall of shame was populated for a short while, then I realised PM crossed so I removed freedom from the WoS - but if in two day he did not pay, I will have to add him again. Several people were late for paying, but I think they all acted in good well. Thus the need for an automated solution. And for those who want to investigate more about smart contracts: https://hyperstake.slack.com/archives/smartcontracts/

WOW thanks for going through all the work to do this all! This is really cool. It looks like diff really started taking off after the 100k range.

Hello Everyone. I´ve never posted on here before; I´ve just observed. Should problems with the latest OS X Hyperstake Wallet be reported directly on GitHub? I just want to make sure that I´m not breaching protocol or stepping on anyone´s toes. Thanks in advance!

Well, its official.. 2400 blocks are gonna max out... Time to move to 2k.. I did it 9 days ago. Since I already have 36 block maxed out (and more by the day), I wil start moving my new blocks to 1800. The lower the blocks, the more numerous the block, the faster the diff rise - without even accounting for more HYP being available for more blocks. Expect exponential rise. I also moved the chart to open access, so you will not have to request access anymore, sorry about that.

Easiest to report it here to be honest. Billotronic builds the Mac wallets for us, and i think there is some known compatability issues with certain OS's. He'll see this post soon enough I am sure.

One of these days, you guys will be finding out that making the blocks too tiny, will eventually cause them to not stake for over 30 days, at which point they stop gaining weight. With everyone moving to smaller blocks, and with difficulty continuing its rise, it will not be too long before 2K blocks become "to small to stake". We'll all probably get away with it (staking small'ish blocks) for another month or so, but I'm guesstimating that soon enough, we'll stop worrying about hitting the cap, and start worrying about having enough size/weight to stake before reaching 30 days maturity. Personally, my block sizes are anything between 2K ~ 4K at the moment, but by the end of the month I'll be aiming at 3K+ blocks. Interesting times ahead! Happy Staking,

Hello Everyone. I´ve never posted on here before; I´ve just observed. Should problems with the latest OS X Hyperstake Wallet be reported directly on GitHub? I just want to make sure that I´m not breaching protocol or stepping on anyone´s toes. Thanks in advance!
Easiest to report it here to be honest. Billotronic builds the Mac wallets for us, and i think there is some known compatability issues with certain OS's. He'll see this post soon enough I am sure. Great! Thank you for responding. I figured I´d ask here rather than clog up your Github account.

I'm experiencing problems with wallet version 1.0.7.3 on my Macbook. I'm running OS X 10.8.5.
The wallet comes up just fine. When I click on any of the other tabs, the program crashes immediately.
I reverted back to version 1.0.3 which is what I started with.
I'm not sure what other information would be helpful. Just let me know.
Thanks!
