They are currently a "D+". At one time Anonibet was a top book but they have really gone down hill. Keep us updated on your withdrawal.

Sportsbet.io to open June 10th. It's not a good sign to see this type of offer from a new book. To celebrate the official opening, we are raffling 2 EURO 2016 final game tickets among all pre-registered members, while there will also be only 1 lucky winner who gets the ultimate prize - the amazing trip package to France, the country to host this year’s EURO Championship. Others will have a chance to win various BTC prizes during EURO 2016 events, with the total prize pool amounting to the jaw-dropping 300 BTC.

Yes I consider lost cause. I buy btc bet and lose cash + coin. They probably sweating heat. As stated in the email they ignore. They claim double spend after nadal loses 1st set but TXID they provide as the DS has input that is spent 24 hours + before match even started. Spent input proves both that tx came long before nadal and what they claim as a hack was never valid tx that could confirm They ignore support email and I provide all screens & co operation. Probably misunderstanding on DB half but as of writing this they have still not responded to email support since "Thu, May 19, 2016 at 4:23 PM" Their forum people just say "Management is looking into it" and bury with their promo posts. End of day small potatoes but serious players proabbly should look to another book

A top book isn't going to steal 36 BTC from a player. Keep us updated.

Yes. I mean now finally after forum backlash they respond They want me to send picture to stranger on internet. Agreement, in btc? MTGOX era? With still no guarentee I will consider options. I will post imgur later if any player care to see. "Mon, May 23, 2016 at 4:12 PM To:XXXXX> Reply | Reply to all | Forward | Print | Delete | Show original Hi XXXXXX, As we noted earlier, we are willing to return the coins that you attempted to double spend as a goodwill gesture and provided that you agree not to do it again. To ensure that you fulfill your part of the deal we must sign an agreement and verify your identity. Please note that the identity verification is required as otherwise the agreement is worthless and can not be enforced. We therefore require a photo copy of your passport before we can proceed. Not sure if Hungerstyle is innocent, but I am sure that Directbet is guilty of handling this situation very poorly. Feel free to repost this wherever if anyone likes.
Last fall for about a month maybe 1 out of every 20 transactions from my electrum wallet were showing up as double spends and it was completely unintentional (eventually realized i needed to update software) There were no big problems because they were all involving individuals or sites that require 1 confirmation. In the end, one would confirm and the other was eventually deleted from the block chain. If I had deposited on DirectBet, could I have ended up getting freerolled like Hungerstyle? There are two still in my Betcoin transaction history with invalid transaction ids: This transaction is unknown.
You might have used wrong transaction hash, or the transaction you're looking for hasn't yet propagated through the network. It can take a while for transactions to get to blockchain nodes. My point is, obviously I don't think any site can justify not paying out a winning bet after the fact because of a double unconfirmed transaction and a suspicion. If they have enough evidence to justify seizing 36 bitcoin from a player, they should be prepared to defend their decision to the player and the public (if player chooses to make it public) Can't just say "fuck this guy, I think he's trying to scam us" and expect to maintain a reputation.
Have you tried to double-spend? If yes and there are proves, everything seems legit (except you)
Does your comment reflect how BetBTC would handle a similar situation?

What is "double spend"? How does this work?
Hungerstyle - what exactly are you accused of doing?
Did DirectBet change ownership? I had some email contact a year or 2 ago with someone I assume was the owner. It was before "Michelle" I think her name is got involved posting for them, and he was the only one answering emails and posting.
(It would be helpful if sportsbook people who post would use a name each time rather than the company name for their handle, so we could refer to a specific poster).
Imo that guy's intention at that time was to run an upright book. Not to steal btc. I know things and people can change, but I'd be very surprised if that's his intention now.
(I'm surprised also that they're taking 36 btc wagers - their limits used to be low).
Even if Directbet is out of line asking for a passport photo, I'd send my passport photo out all day long for 36 btc per send. And then not do business there in the future if you were falsely accused.

What is "double spend"? How does this work?
It's possible to broadcast two transactions for the same amount when you only have enough bitcoin for one. They will both appear on the network as unconfirmed transactions. One will get confirmed, the other will eventually be pruned from the block chain as if it never existed. That's why the standard is to wait for one or more confirmations before crediting a user. I know Bitcasino.io had issues recently with someone free rolling them.

Do you agree with DirectBet in that they should confiscate 36 BTC? This is the second time that DirectBet has confiscated player's funds. It's one thing to void winnings, it's outright theft to take deposits.

I'm not sure why DirectBet is asking for a passport. Do they plan on publicly posting a copy of the passport or keep it for their own purposes? DirectBet- Feel free to join the conversation. It would be helpful.
