I am currently composing Windows Autominer V4 and it is coming along well, but I spotted a single bug in the current version 3 code. There is just one line of code missing and it would only have an effect if a) you are running 22 threads/miners and b) you choose to spread the hashrate among multiple mining pools. Nobody reported any problem, which does not really surprise me considering the very specific circumstances under which it would appear. The bug must have been there for the last six months i.e. since version 2 and it would not have caused anything to stop/crash so I think I got away with it It only affects one file, automine.bat and while I have obviously updated the full software package with the corrected version, there seems no point in re-installing the whole lot just for the sake of one line of code in one file, so I have produced a patch file for you. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2kf1o15o4m8p9cj/XMGpoolminer-patch-Win.exeAs usual, this is a self-extracting Zip file which will unzip to folder C:\XMGminer by default. All it will do is overwrite the one file automine.bat. You do not have to run any setup. If you are not running 22 threads/miners (and you don't spread the hashpower among multiple mining pools) then you do not even need this patch, so do not worry about it (unless you happen to be a perfectionist or something, in which case you must have this patch). Happy hashing

Great stuff, thank you How do I find out my DB version in OSX (Yosemite) - so I can check if a DB migration is required to upgrade to the new wallet please?
Cheers
I believe you ran the mac os wallet from us, then unfortunately you'll have to do it, as all prior mac wallets (< v1.2.2.1) were built with higher version of DB > 4.8.

Magi XMG Proof of Interest 2015 Launch 01-April-2015 Earth is something Magical. Coin of the #Magi will show the magic of digital currency! (quote twitter @103tango) Banks give interest. Today, not much! Magi does this better! The Coin of the Magi is the digital currency of the future, fair unique and for all people living everywhere!
Rules for first Magi Proof of Interest 2015!The base is very simple. Time period: The Proof of Interest will last two months.
When can I register to participate? Registration is now open!
How do I sign up? Tell me that you want to join the PoI here: http://bitcoingarden.tk/forum/index.php?topic=3265.0
What information should I include? Give your wallet XMG address in a post here: http://bitcoingarden.tk/forum/index.php?topic=3265.0 (only one address allowed to join)
I want to join the Proof of Interest but don't want to share my walletaddress? Just PM me the information.
I will check the balance, and that balance will start participating in the PoI. (After confirmation participant)
When will I receive my interest? Interest will be paid on 01-juni-2015
What happens if I have more XMG in my wallet on 01-juni-2015? You will receive interest on the amount present in your wallet on that date. (Advantage participant)
What happens if I have less XMG in my wallet on 01-juni-2015? you will not receive any interest if you have more than 20% less coins in your wallet! (Drawback participant)
What happens if I XMG have used to pay for goods? This has no negative effect on your interest. (Receipt required)
How will be interest distributed? The interest will be distributed by means of a specific calculation. This can be influenced by the number of participants, level of the fund and total number of coins that participate. Team will check addresses random and record the coins in that address. Based on that the interest calculation will be done!
Who will pay the interest for this Proof of Interest campaign? I received the first donation of 25,000 XMG. On his request, the donor will remain anonymous!
Interest will be paid to the designated address wallet. Changes during the Proof of Interest are not possible. Exchanges or wallet address on an exchange are excluded from participation.
If you have questions don't hesitate just ask me.
End of the Proof of Interest is coming. Last wallet check will be done at 01-06-2015. Check the rules again! That way you will not be suprised! Hope to give you all more info about the option of another Proof of Interest campaign.

Ok thank you, yes I'm running v1.2.1.1 from the [ANN][XMG] OP. Can I run both wallets simultaneously to move my balance across? (I'll take a back up of my wallet.dat) But I guess the path to the wallet.dat is the same - ~/Library/Application Support/Magi so the answer would be no? I'd like to have a go to do the DB migration but I cannot find the path /opt/local/src on my MAC As I use homebrew, everything from source is usually in /usr/local/bin or /usr/local/cellar and thats where i was expecting to find the DB Could you point me in the right directory (direction lol) please? Cheers

I don't understand how it works (with the Magi wallet, specifically) Thanks in advance I'm not 100% sure (In fact I have no idea!) but with my wallet left unlocked BUT with the "for staking" option ticked - every 8-24 hours a little more XMG gets paid in........

You cannot run two wallets on the same machine simultaneously. That is an absolute and the reason why it will not work is a conflict with the network ports required. However, you can run two (or more) wallets on one machine if you keep track of the wallet.dat files so that only one is "active" at any given moment. I do this quite frequently. You can have two wallet files, say wallet1.dat and wallet2.dat, then just take a copy of one of them, rename it to wallet.dat and run up the magi-qt.exe wallet application, do what you have to, then close it down again. Backup that wallet.dat by renaming it to something else, rename the other one to wallet.dat, run up the magi-qt.exe wallet application, do what you have to with that one. You see what I am doing there? Edit: Additional - the secret to effective "staking" is to send all your coins to yourself every 30 days.

Nice Bitcointalk back online. Think it would be good idea to post also on other forums (like bitcoingarden) Special the one with updates or very important information. Hope the Magi community would help me with doing that.
