May need optimization .. prior reports:

Got 60 now 24 on 3570k
I got now around 10kH/s but was 25k

Was testing the 3 different miners I downloaded. With the generic version that Spexx provided, my desktop CPU got 3-4 kh/s. With the core2 miner from MarcusDE I'm getting 7-8 kh/s. The both VPS have a little less than 50% of what they had before. Now my total is 20 kh/s on average instead of 50 kh/s before. What do you think, is that ok?

Looks okay to me.

Someone suggested the compilation, getting a bit higher hash rate using:
Code:
./configure CFLAGS="-O"

than this:
Code:
./configure CFLAGS="-O3"

Can others confirm too?

my 2 miners were connected to stratum+tcp://xmg.suprnova.cc:7128 for 2 hours  (on site is stated: stratum+tcp://mine2.magi.nonce-pool.com:4090 but then no connection is possible)
but miners show 0 results in pool.

stopped mining now. please advice.

edit: sorry, now I see, I am mixing up the 2 different pools!

I have only 1.77kh/s on AM1 5350 64bit Spexx miner, by this calculation need to be much more score any suggestion?
You can try MarcusDe's compilation too since he has different versions for specific CPUs: http://graymines.net/miners/magi

much better 7.67 kh/s thx

Nice, how much reduced?

about 3 times reduced speed, max 7.98 kh/s

A quick reminder for anyone using my Windows 64 bit minerd.exe is that if you are using it without also using the Windows batch file "wrapper" system provided, you may not get very good results. I do not recommend that this version is used with multiple threads i.e. greater than --threads 1 as the compiler does not seem to handle this condition very well. It does however compile code that will work on any CPU at a very reasonable speed provided that the minerd is used only with a single thread. Running multiple instances of minerd with single threads gives superior performance with other versions of minerd as well, so this is the regime that I recommend. Please refer to the read.me file provided with your download. Thanks.

Spexx and MarcusDe's miners are for 64 bit; for linux, the VPS mining guide should be of help; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg8800103#msg8800103

Smiley you know, particularly & exclusively only CPU are able to mine XMG right now. I had an estimate of about 42 XMG per block over past 320 blocks (including PoS). This is the best time to get CPU running & mining. Smiley

p.s., 3:45 AM here, have now got used to stay up for.. got a real job pain, got to deal with real life things too ..

Spexx's, why your 2 new miners (32bit & 64bit) is not loading fully processor core:
1 core only ~24% (-t 1);
2 core only ~49% (-t 2);
3 core only ~51-65% (-t 3);
4 core only ~47-65% (-t 4).
hashrate 2core > hashrate 4core > hashrate 3core - Why?
problems of parallelization process?
especially bad in 64-bit versions...
