Wise words, man! My lowest ask is at 20 BTC/XMR and I am selling at that price only 0.05 XMR worth of 1 BTC.

Conversely, now might be the time to take advantage of low hanging fruit on that ask stack.  We've tested the 170k/180k levels more than a few times and last night the top 10 cryptos on Poloniex were all slightly red.  We've seen this story before, right around February 10th.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

...

This community is so "polluted" ...

iCEBRAKER was a former CEO of Hashfast, criminal ASIC scammer with a lawsuit in progress.
No wonder he's all-in in Monero, he had to 'wash' his stolen bitcoins...

I see this thrown around a lot, but without any accompanying evidence. Obviously the nick iCEBREAKER appears to have been involved somehow, but in what capacity no one seems to know.

I am not sure either if it confirmed it was him. In one of the screenshots he states:

Quote
To be fair, it's possible the site was under attack. Haters abound.

Wouldn't he know for sure if he was the CEO? Not trying to defend anyone here, but the evidence is kind of inconclusive.

Haha, of course he would know. As far as I've seen, he doesn't talk about it.

What was the hashfast fiasco about anyway?

Im not defending anyone either, certainly many scammers in the crypto currency space but remaining silent on a matter before the courts does not imply guilt.  Any lawyer would advise you to reserve your comments until the matter is fully resolved.

Preorder asics that were never delivered. Cypherdoc has been accused of receiving 3000 btc to shill for them on btctalk to get people to make orders. iCEBREAKER has also been accused of being paid to shill or being in some way affiliated with the company, but I haven't seen as direct and specific accusation as has been levied against cypherdoc.

Cypherdoc's name is also on the plaintiff, whereas iCEBREAKER's isn't as far as I can see.

Mymonero.com used to accept 25 word seeds until a few days ago.
I don't think mymonero.com accepts 25 word seeds any more.  I can't get it to work.
If this is right, then the only way to have a wallet compatible with both moneroaddress.org and mymonero.com is to do an import, which costs 10 xmr.
Am I correct?

It should work.  Fluffypony (mymonero admin) is at the Satoshi Round Table conference so he might not be able to respond right away.  Try it again, maybe you typed it in wrong.  If you already tried that Im sure someone else here will chime in with some advice.

I just tested with a freshly generated seed from https://Moneroaddresss.org and it works.

Also, you can still choose the "Don't import transactions" option.

You are incorrect. Log in works fine, it just asks if you want to import your transactions (normal). Just select "Don't import transactions".

Sorry, I'm out of the loop on this one... why is Fluffy going to the Satoshi round table?  Is he someone that actively contributes to the Bitcoin protocol?  Isn't he at the head of the core devs for just Monero?

The event is slightly broader than "just Bitcoin". Few other projects or companies deemed important and/or influencial enough can attend too.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

He sure is.  Its a crypto currency conference, not all attendees are directly involved with BTC development.  I'm not a dev on any crypto coin project but would love to attend.  Are you saying I should not??

To be fair, he did a lot of work on Electrum if I recall correctly.

Something screwy about the network I was on.  It's public wifi.  What tipped me off that something's wrong:  I decided to try using a vpn and see if it made a difference, but had no luck getting connected.  Seems like this wifi is very restrictive.  Doesn't let you connect to vpn, and other stuff doesn't work either (namely, mymonero.com).
On my cell phone, using AT&T data, everything works the way it should.

The ideal conclusion to fluffy's visit will be that new developers will begin studying and committing to our project, and a handful of new 'whales' will enter the game after realizing that this is no altcoin we are dealing with.

Haha, absolutely not!  But when I hear "Satoshi Round Table" I think some meeting with the top dogs in development to talk about Bitcoin primarily... I understand now it's more of cryptocurrencies in general, which is awesome.  Will there be a video of it after the meeting is over?

There won't be any videos whatsoever. However, I think Fluffypony will make a little summary of his trip and how it went.

I was there last year, it is a well marketed event but I am sure fluffypony can do without me this time  Wink

The problem with that level people is that everyone is already hands full of work. I did not have the resources to start any projects with anyone there, but it was cool to shake hands with Roger Ver, Erik Voorhees, Brock Pierce, Vitalik Buterin etc. I pitched Crypto Kingdom in the main venue, but to my knowledge nobody bought in. CKG is up 1,000% in one year measured in fiat, 500% in BTC, but that would be peanuts for these guys anyway.

There will most probably be no video.

HIM TVA Dragon, AOK-GM, Emperor of the Earth, Creator of the World, King of Crypto Kingdom, Lord of Malla, AOD-GEN, SA-GEN5, Ministry of Plenty (Join NOW!), Professor of Economics and Theology, Ph.D, AM, Chairman, Treasurer, Founder, CEO, 3*MG-2, 82*OHK, NKP, WTF, FFF, etc(x3)

To clarify a bit, "import transactions" (and the 10 XMR fee) is only needed if you have used the wallet previously. For a brand new wallet, there will be no transactions so trying to import them is useless (unless you want to donate 10 XMR to fluffypony Smiley )
