Where can I buy Monero with Euro? Could you suggest me the cheapest place?

There is not much difference in price depending where you buy, but Kraken.com is place where you can buy with euro.

It looks like Monero pulled all coins out of reds. They saw Monero is having good time in greens and they followed him.

It was great to see Monero back to more normal levels, at least against Bitcoin (although there's still some 20% to recover).
I guess it was not Monero alone who did this, Bitcoin seems to also get some traction.
As long as the money flows into cryptocurrencies, all is good. Monero grow vs Bitcoin and Bitcoin growing vs Dollar is the exact scenario I (or we, I guess!) like the most.

I am a bit confused of the reasons, since I didn't hear any news (or I've missed them?), but that's the least problem. Market is not always predictable, especially these days...

25% of the volume is from hitbtc, my best guess is washing stolen bitcoins.

I saw that. Has anyone used / heard of that wallet?

Agreed - great for them (and xmr) if they can get it to work.

On June 24 the block reward was 16 and today it is ~14.6 which is a 9% decrease in 2 months.

At what point will the decreasing emissions have a significant effect on price?

I bet this is why there is a quick rally, a little insider knowledge.

There is not much difference in price depending where you buy, but Kraken.com is place where you can buy with euro.

If you like to stay anonymous and buy Monero with Euro then try our exchange https://exba.se - Exchange Base
But we are not the cheapest because anonymity have it's own price.

Washing stolen Bitcoins ends up with that money exchanged back into BTC (fall back of XMR price) then exchanged to fiat (fall of BTC price). And thieves are usually impatient, I think.
So unless it's a very smart (an patient) thief, this theory may not hold.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing.
And indeed, 2 weeks sounds like an overoptimistic estimation Smiley

Still puzzling, who the hell buys that much XMR from hitbtc with its "superb" reputation, "low" fees and "excellent" dust balance management.

Also if you've a mass in the five or six digit range, or even report your mass in tonnage at all, often find yourself echolocating from location to location, and can hold your breath in ranges upwards of 80 minutes while under water, and might possibly have swallowed my USB drive or stamped metal plates approximately two years ago in the vicinity of block island you just might be a monero whale

I have now second thoughts of that atomic wallet.  They are linked to Changelly.com , that just acquired Particl that was ex shadowcash.    If i remember right Changelly was also linked to HitBTC and Bytecoin.

All this what I wrote could be totally irrelevant and part of it maybe not true. But we should take this news with cautious.    But on other hand if this guy that runs this atomic wallet was one of bytecoin developers, then he should know how complex Monero is and should know if all what he promised actually is doable.

There is also the possibility that the wallet is developed using MyMonero as a back end. Less privacy arguably, but way easier to implement.
