Monero has certainly done a lot for the privacy sector but from an invesment standpoint, it is really only a currency. Stakenet is an ecosystem with broad utility and excellent privacy measures.
I recommend Stakenet ($XSN).
Then, off you go to Steaknet, i hope you like yours medium People make fun of this dude, but I was seriously interested in how they manage anonymous staking--do they send you your share and then lose your address, like some woman losing a creep's number at the bar? Hilarious. But probably they will lose his number after he loses his wallet, which is generally how it turns out - https://betweenblocks.org/topic/699/stakecube-hacked-for-13btc-worth-of-crypto

Something that then makes many people do not hesitate to invest in Monero. This is evidenced by a research data that Monero is ranked in the top 10 as the most popular and most widely used crypto currency in the world. This fact makes Monero's prospects very promising.

It's completely retarded, they took out the entire reason for POS to exist which is security and threw in a bunch of masternodes to centralize and monetize. Nothing but a cash grab that they keep generating coins from.

Hoping that HitBTC will follow. I have some XMR sitting on there that I may as well move.

I have no doubt with the quality of engineering/USP in Monero that if the crypto markets take off again Monero will be part of it.
Question is, will crypto at large come back from this drop...

I'll toss you a little bite to eat Mr. Troll. Monero is unique among shitcoins. Here are a couple reasons it is unique and worth holding: -It has real utility and is currently being used as a currency, not just a speculative investment. -It may be the ONLY crypto project that offers something that Bitcoin never can - privacy at the base layer. In every other case bitcoin will be able to replicate just about any other project's strengths and features. And though Bitcoin can offer privacy on Layer 2 and up, it arguably never will/should on it's base layer. There are no alts more promising than Monero, really.

Not to mention a community that willingly invest their coins into R&D and no premine/tax system. That alone should be enough evidence that Monero is at least worth looking into without any pre biases.

I dont know about "crypto" but Bitcoin should start showing some positivism price wise next year. At start of the year or at end of the year, that could be debatable.

Bitcoin will be over 10k by the end of this year. We still have 2 months left which is a lot of time. I'm not big on Monero because I'm more of a bitcoin supporter myself. It seems like Monero will be banned by most governments and exchanges are hesitant to allow monero because of regulations. Plus we can already mix bitcoins if we want to hide our transaction trail.

Hoping that HitBTC will follow. I have some XMR sitting on there that I may as well move. Hopefully not, they are a scam exchange connected to the bytecoin crew. Monero is a shitcoin, convert this shit to bitcoin and other promising alts before its too late. I dumped my monero bags, this coin has no future.

Please tell me, I have been watching Monero for a long time, but it only falls about Bitcoin. Are there any events in the coming year that may affect the growth of its price?

Nope, it just works. Ya know, does what it is supposed to do which is extremely difficult to accomplish.

Had this been posted yet? I found this error very strange. But it shows how a blockchain depends on both the miners and the users being always well informed.

On October 19th I noticed a potential issue with mixin/decoy selection on XMR transactions. I sent the following email to Riccardo Spagni with a CC to luigi1111 on October 20th:
tl;dr: In many cases it's easy to determine the real input in a ring since the hard fork. UPGRADE YOUR WALLET BECAUSE YOUR'RE HARMING MY PRIVACY USING OLD CLIENTS. Had this been posted yet? I found this error very strange. But it shows how a blockchain depends on both the miners and the users being always well informed. There is no error. But people should always use the latest version when available or not use it if to lazy to update.

It's a real bug, a real issue, and lots of people will go on using 13.0.2; many of whom don't know of the update.
