When there was a race between litecoin and monero to cross 100 usd then ltc crossed it first making people believe in ltc. But when true development and retention comes XMR is king.

I agree CSW is an arrogant wanker, and we probably have ~18 months to confirm if he's a scammer, (if the satoshi bitcoins don't move in 2020 CSW is lying) and another 4 days to know how much hash he has, so the CSW matter is concluded soon thankfully.

Amazingly, I think at least a little bit of Monero's slump today is due to what seems to be a bit of FUD executed by FAKESATOSHI. https://twitter.com/ProfFaustus/status/1061229656081350656He also took shots specifically at Monero in his recent interview with Tone Vays. The interview is *somehwt* interesting as it discusses the upcoming BCHABC BCHSV fork which should be pretty interesting IMO.. But here is the Monero/Privicy coin section. https://youtu.be/ACEUOCoVvmw?t=3564The may make or break his reputation in 2019 and 2020 too. I just hope that he's not involved in MoneroV and other Monero forsk that requires private keys and other info from Monero.

Hello, A year ago (November 2017) just this week began the rise in the price of XMR. It seems that history can be repeated. What do you think? https://ibb.co/hKeDcq

So the guy who can't prove he's Satoshi is going to prove who everyone else is? I'm wondering what a psychoanalyst would make of that...
On a practical note, those 3 systems work in very different ways, so wouldn't he need 3 separate mechanisms for analysis? I guess we'll have to wait the year out biting our nails in feverish anticipation for doom's day or purchase whatever is sure to be the "better" solution. Crypto has anhilated my faith in mankind's motives--which isn't a bad thing, just makes me long for my youthful ignorance.
This was my first thought as well. The fact that all three of those privacy projects use very different techniques means a unified solution to uncover them all and also throwing Tor in the mix on top of that seems pretty disingenuous. This is the reason that I think he's actually throwing this out for one of two other reasons. One... just to make other projects outside of Bitcoin SV look bad or two... he's wanting to depress the price in the so-called privacy sector for some other reason. I am tempted to say he is just talking out of his ass. But actually I think the guy is a little bit too crafty for just that. I think he and Calvin Aire and possibly even Jihan and Ver are making moves. XMR is currently in rollercoaster mode. He talks about networking and IP addresses. As far I know, these 3 systems use networking and IP. Fwiw I think CSW is probably Satoshi. That doesn't mean I like him. But I pay attention to what he says. And, should he managed to take over BCH, I urge every body to pay attention to him. Because he doesn't like altcoins at all, and if he succed in taking over one PoW chain, then Monero could be very well be his next target.

I agree, CSW was involved in the earliest days of bitcoin and ignoring what he says because he comes across like a dickhead is dangerous, like ignoring Trump in 2016 because he was a failed businessman turned reality TV personality. CSW wants to be disliked, probably to make the fuck you sweeter if/when he moves satoshi bitcoin in 2020. He wants to destroy alts like XMR.

For me he is plainly an ill-tempered, nasty and totally flawed liar. I have no doubt he was around, but significantly? A key to Bitcoin's development? I doubt it. He is ready to lie and fake anything and if he has access to any significant keys, I doubt it was honestly. He is happy to fake a signature and backdate a document, it seems. So he has no credibility whatsoever. That doesn't mean he isn't dangerous, or won't pick up followers; it does mean anything he says must be taken with a very large pinch of salt.

That what I thought before investigating the question: This guy has no credibility. But actually, forging documents, lying, being ill-tempered... all that doesn't preclude him from being (part of) Satoshi. Satoshi probably doesn't care a lot what other are thinking of him. CSW just don't care what other think, he doesn't behave like that to stole money from someone, he just doesn't care. It might even be a strategy to filter out people. Anyway, him being Satoshi or not is irrelevant to the fact that he may be the first guy, with his fellow Ayre, to manage take over an important PoW chain. And that alone is worthy of consideration. If he fails Thursday, then everybody can keep thinking at him as a clown. But if he succeed, then please, pay attention.

POW chain that is owned by Bitman as so many others, one of them is also Monero classic? Let him have it LOL.

If he fails Thursday, then everybody can keep thinking at him as a clown. But if he succeed, then please, pay attention.
Independent rational thinking without emotion is needed which many here lack, some struggle with the idea that people involved with the 'satoshi entity' and the creation of bitcoin might be arrogant dickheads with nasty personal habits, and even might have acted dishonestly in many provable ways. That is ALL irrelevant in what is to come, if satoshi bitcoins start moving in 2020 it doesn't matter diddly squat about the personality and character of the people moving them, just WHERE they move them, and how much hash they control. Humanity is conditioned to using great innovations created by dishonest dickheads.

It would be nice, but their state motto is "Live free or die", so I'm not surprised they would do that.
