Boom indeed. Fortunately I'm still awake and have fixed the problem and restarted it. "No shares have been lost" (heh), though this is why I need lots of testing thanks. If it's still running by my morning it'll be a minor miracle.

Remember the other pool is NOT a solo pool but shares rewards. Additionally if the pool is lucky early on while the last N share window is developing, remember that the early miners could be in for a big windfall.

Yep that's the one. I'll be putting up a separate thread and proper announce with all the details of its running when I get time but it is operating with full functionality already, it's just that it's considered in beta and may be unstable so no guarantees exist for its operation just yet.

Just briefly how does this new setup work ? Pooled solo mining reward kinda ? So like whoever finds the block in the pool gets the block minus fees for the Pool and a little something satoshi for everyone mining ?

No no no, this other pool is going to be regular pooled shared mining with some interesting differences I don't have time to explain at length just yet. You can get an up to date estimate of your user's block reward in the userstats under "derp".

why is it that when I look for my stats in http://ckpool.org/users/, it say was not found on this server? my shares are always accepted in the GUIminer.. why is it not found in the server?

I read somewhere about some address not working for directly generating coins (as this pool does), is there any way to test and make sure my address will accept the coins if I hit a block?

Paste the exact link you're trying (including addy)...


And is it possible that your GPU isn't producing a share high enough for the server to accept (this is Bitcoin, after all)?
