It is a lottery the only thing that matters is your total hashrate so the more hashrate you have the more chance you have.

I don't have much hashrate here but was thinking we could make some kind of "syndicate" sort of we know that the only thing that matters is total hashrate so if a few people were to throw power at the pool in a collective that would add higher chance?

Is that theroy correct ck?

Yes that's correct and this has been done successfully (and unsuccessfully) in the past. It is entirely up to you to coordinate people and payouts between you though since the reward only goes to one address. If you wish to use me as escrow to send out payments to multiple people I would do so for a 1% extra fee if I get all the addresses and proportions to give out in advance.

CK I would really enjoy setting up such a OP,  My main concern was how would people trust such a idea but again there you hold the answer with escrow being via the pool.

I will draft up a short topic and idea and shoot you a PM to talk over the escrow for the OP.

Block Breaking OP - Breaking Block For The Forum!

Ok, so the topic is up for the OP and we wait for the list to be filled with members who wish to participate in the effort to break a block.

As agreed the effort will be done via CK escrow of the payout if a block is found.

Payout would be based on the relative hashrate of each worker at the time a block was found.

If you are interested in taking part jump over to the other topic and post your username and your hashrate available and we can get this project off the ground.

i need to let them pay for themselves first Smiley

Very true.  though you should set CK solo as a failover just in case that way if there was ever any issues at the other pool you would flick back to solo mode

I've had pretty bad luck for a week(or perhaps I had too good of a luck). My bestever is 40 million, and for the whole week, I've found nothing higher than 1.5M.

What hash rate are you running there 5th?  Iv'e been hopping between solo and the normal ck pool for the past week or so but again my bestshare this week is
"bestshare": 1216500643.294189,  with a s3  thought I have had to restart a few miners and they don't seems to be hitting anywhere near this figure anymore.
