If I fix it and restart the pool... which is likely to happen in the next couple of days.

Dear users whirledps1 , orionberry and eagleUSER , you are repeatedly trying unsuccessfully to connect to his pool with a regular username. Please fix your login to only use a bitcoin address as your username.

Sorry. I have the pool as a backup and must have just copied and pasted my info into the pool slots when I changed main pools. I'll take care of it as soon as I can access my miners.

Again, sorry. No nefarious intent! Smiley

Hah, none assumed in the first place. Which username? I have blocked some IPs as a result but will unblock them if you're one of the blocked ones.

My username would be whirledps1. It is probably only on a couple of miners that I just copied addresses into. I'm in the process of looking and fixing now. Again, I use the solo pool as a fail-over.
Thanks!

EDIT: Fixed it. It was only on one miner, thankfully.

-ck,
I'm guessing you may have my IP address blocked. I'm showing that my link to your pool is dead. It has always been "Active" before and failed-over successfully in the past. Whenever you get a chance, if you could take a look I'd appreciate it! Smiley
Thanks.

username = whirledps1  (fixed now on the one miner to correctly use my BTC address as username)

That IP should be unblocked by now, there are still 3 other users, including koh0907 - you are trying to put your btc address last in the username, it should be first.

I'll be restarting the pool shortly for further upgrades and bugfixes.
There were more improvements to remote block submission and it should now reset the share counter properly on a block find.

Restarts complete, mine on!

I'm bored and wish to make one more configuration change which means one more restart which will happen shortly.
All complete. Block on.
Time for yet another restart for a minor tweak shortly.
All complete. Keep on blocking.

Edit while we are on that subject. What is the highest diff solve of the network?  Would you happen to know Or a way to find out.

anyway I can configure so that my mining starts at a particular diff? I have a U3 and it takes forever each time it restarts for difficulty to drop from 4K to 175 so that I can generate shares that actually get accepted. until it drops to 175 all my shares are discarded?
if no way, then I have to switch back to antpool solo mining since, it seems to be recycling often recently and with 60ghs lottery you can't be also down 1 out of 3 days to boot Sad

Shares are only cosmetic on the solo pool. It doesn't matter if you're getting them or not since they're just showing you that you're successfully mining and have no intrinsic value in solo mining. However if you are using cgminer, then solo.ckpool.org, like all ckpool based pools, supports the command line parameter that will allow you to suggest a suitable diff for your hardware to speed up the process of getting to your optimal diff. Add the following command to your cgminer parameters:
Code:
--suggest-diff 175
