Isn't it amazing how perspectives shift?  Remember when having 10TH/s was considered "professional level" mining?  That was a farm of 50 overclocked S1s.  Now a single S9 does more Smiley.

I started in summer 2012  the entire network  was about 21th or 21th.

I ran gpus.    I had about 14gh  so my  14gh/21th  was  1/1500 of the entire network!

I burned 6-7 kilowatts.

to have 1/1500 of the network.

I need to run 1.2ph   that would be 1000 s9's  and around 1.4mega watts!!

Willi

I guess he even donated a hash power on rent to a guy who lost his bitcoin reward as he setup a multi-sig address and lost all. Well luckily his donated rented hash also hit 1 block.

Philipima was so much lucky last summer I guess. I guess he did hit 1 or 2 in the same month once.

Anyway congrats to little miner 12zwqM28dPZ3y4VujM3q5QPQrEUwsPGDtJ

I have power to spare on the solar array. I have investors that want to use buysolar to make a 20 to 40 acre array.  But the s9 is so not reliable we simply have placed everything on hold.

Back to this thread.

I hit three solo blocks here.  Total of 75 coins.  My shares were 5 + 5 + 8 total of 16 coins.
The really truly lucky one was the one that I got the 8 coins on.

Someone rented on nice hash hit a solo block and the block is stuck in space all coins are locked.
I felt bad for the guy and rented 5th for two days, another player pointed his s7 using my address as a second donator.  We hit a block for 25 coins we gave ck 1.2 coins and took 8 coins each.
But the block needs 101 confirms to pay.  During the confirm wait.  Coins wend from 380 to 500 bucks.
I cashed my 8 out and got 4k .  Truly amazing luck. I think I spent .05 btc in rentals to hit that.
