Sorry, The ownership of the site has changed since 2015, so we can't really help you with any issues from that time. The good news is that the site is now back on chain, and 100% provably fair. Give it a try today: Can you explain exactly how your provably fair system works exactly ? There are a few of us who tried to figure it out but got nowhere. How is the seed hashed, is there some client seed, is there a type of nonce? Also did you completely transition to Bitcoin cash or can you still use Bitcoin on your site. It seems like it was suddenly removed. Why no one is answering this question? I'd also like to know about the system of your provably fairness in details. This defiantly needs to be answered. Provably fair is not provably fair if the site does not provide all the information on it and allow users to verify bets. Its probably harder for them to implement the same provably fair that we use on Primedice and stake which was used for years by justdice and us but this is for now by far the best provably fair system in use.

Well most likely back in 2012, it was the most popular Bitcoin game out there. I guess they decided to leave it as is years later. Even with no advertising I am sure they get tons of business. Anyone watching that Netflix documentary where it was mentioned will probably search for it on google and they get a lot of organic traffic that way.

If you have been following this thread, then this wouldn't surprise you. The owner of the site has probably different business ventures and almost never replies to this thread. I mentioned this before that they should hire some support staff and nothing. They get lots of organic traffic by the brand so they aren't worried about growth really. Well, yeap. Now I understand why the online support for 24/7 is so important. I hope devs will see it: Guys, you should work more on the development of this forum thread since there are a lot of questions without answers. And a lot of gaming projects can become more popular only because of having the official representive online almost every half an hour. Just look on the SmartPlay or Betking threads. Always helpful and friendly representatives

Which one? lol. The one on Netflix was called Banking on Bitcoin I think and it had Vorfhees talking about regulation and such and there might of been a small segment about Satosidice. There is also another Bitcoin documentary and this one is a few years older but it also mentions satoshidice and it's sale.

Hi everyone, first of all, I have good news: WE ARE HIRING!!!!As you all know, we need a customer relations person to answer people's questions promptly and monitor our forum threads for new questions or people that need help. To apply, email support@satoshidice.comFor the people who were asking how to verify the fairness of our system: To verify SatoshiDICE games, look at the verifygame-page.js
https://satoshidice.com/js/verifygame-page.js
The random number is generated by the following seed:
seed = sha256(hexStringToByte(serverSeed + txid + voutHex))
randomNumber = getRandomNumber(seed)
function getRandomNumber(sha256) { var seed = new Array(); for (var s = 0; s < 8; s++) { var intText = sha256.substring(s * 8, (s + 1) * 8); seed.push(parseInt(intText, 16)); mersenneTwister.seedArray(seed); } return mersenneTwister.short(); }
When SatoshiDICE publishes the secret server seed, you can use that to verify that your random numbers were random. The output number is a 4 byte number in hex.
The random number generator is a Marsenne Twister returning a short int:
https://satoshidice.com/js/MersenneTwister.js
The hash of the secret seed is published a few days before, and always put on the blockchain to make sure nothing is changed: https://cashexplorer.bitcoin.com/tx/61ac980529ee745599ba02dae44bdcacba323e7cfd20214e84895d030883e2cd

Thank you for doing this. I know you are probably busy with other projects so you were slow to reply. Hence it's good that you are taking the correct step and hiring extra support staff to help with the comments and support. Try posting this in the Bitcoin classifieds under Service Annocement and you will get more qualified personnel replying since only a certain portion of people browse the gambling section.

I don't be so sure about going to invest there, if I am not mistaken they have some issue about being part of the players and eat up around 300 btc from the balance by playing slots. Many of them accused them for being not honest yet it can't be proved too so take some precautious not to invest on their bankroll if I were you. But for their game, I think it is pretty fair enough

Basically as long as Bitcoin is in the headlines, they got free organic traffic for the next decade. Most people before they invest in Bitcoin they usually watch the Various Bitcoin documentaries on YouTube or Netflix. In most of them they describe the history and they always mention how Satoshidice was the largest up to date Bitcoin business transaction. Hence they don't need to worry about losing gamblers .

Not at all! We are actually hard at work with a full site redesign, with a snappy new mobile site too. Even more interesting than that, we are exploring options to integrate directly with existing BCH wallets. Stay tuned!

Satoshi Dice is now available in Chinese, Japanese and Korean! On top of that, we are considering doing an equity token airdrop to all BCH holders in the world! It is easy for us now that Wormhole Cash is finally ready! Be sure to follow @satoshidice on Twitter for the latest news as well.
