wow. how do you not double check what you are sending. I only send .1 to my rentals and I double check that if not triple check. sending 13 not only would I check it but I would someone else check my double check. hate to say it but he will never see that 13 btc again. if the pool owners don't pocket it the miners wont give it back. btw sorry2xs : that is the car. that's the way they come. they are known as a maloo or ute. basically the idea behind them was that you could go shopping with them during the week and still do farm work on the weekend since its got a flatbed. (hit utube for videos of them)

omg... I feel for the guy. That's really bad piece of programming logic to allow such a high tx fee to go through. I doubt if BTCC will respond... however, never say never... there are still decent people out there. looks like he is getting the money back. link

the kano pool monitor is malfunctioning - it does not show log ins and is appearing on screen as logged in. also the categories are not visible. is this known to the admin zach@zachmonroe.com yesterday some of my miners were not showing up in the App even though the kano.is website showed they were mining just fine, too. Today nothing is showing up in the CKPool App either. something is clearly wrong.

Quick CKDB restart as soon as the block we just got has it's shift summarised. No miners will be affected. It will be a very quick restart since the block we just got was only 1.75 minutes after the hour. The reason being that due to the higher number of workers, CKDB is chewing up ram faster. As I've mentioned before there's a fix in the code, however, that fix has been rolled back each restart due to the sequence problem that still exists. I've still not resolved the sequence problem, I'll work it out sooner or later, but still scouring the code to find the cause. There have been quite a few slow network blocks in the last 24hrs, the confirm for our block is what I'm waiting for, to do the restart.
Edit: CKDB restart complete was from 15:18:45 UTC to 15:27:06

Is stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333 the best port for me to use if I live in Indiana U.S.? Does it matter as far location? I seen someone else ask that question a few pages back but I believe he was in Europe somewhere.

I've used all the nodes, and have settled on the link you have defined. I live in Hawaii. Ping time can be relevant, but I've found the port you're using to be stable and productive. I have a couple of friends who are in the US (West and Midwest) who have the same experience.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I'm in California and that's the main node I use, rarely fails over (to the solo pool, of course!!)
