I see in order to keep my income levels compared to earns on antpool i should receive at least 1 block per machine, so: 6 blocks a day... Bad day today for us!
... Description Time MeanTx% Diff% Mean% CDF[Erl] Luck% Last 50 Blocks 10.4days 101.5% 88.48% 88.47% 0.2116 113.03% Last 100 Blocks 25.4days 101.4% 98.73% 99.48% 0.4924 100.53% Last 250 Blocks 8.4wks 101.3% 94.23% 94.14% 0.1779 106.22% ... Wow I now understand pretty well what luck means!!! I am following the luck increase in the last 5, then last 10 when more blocks arrived. I now also understand why I have to see it in the long term! Now, how to really understand the DIFF%? Mean% is the number of interest, Diff% is for curiosity only. However, a single block's Diff% is: total 1diff shares submitted / expected 1diff shares per block So at the moment the expected 1diff shares per block (called the network difficulty) is 199,312,067,531.243 (199G) If we find a block after 99.5G then the Diff% would be 99.5G/199G = 50% That's 'good luck' since we found it faster than 'expected' (is was quicker) If we find a block after 398G then the Diff% would be 398G/199G = 200% That's 'bad luck' since we found it slower than 'expected' (it took longer) If we find 3 blocks, 50%, 100% and 150% Diff then the Mean% of those 3 would be 100% Luck is (nonsensically) given the inverse of that by other pools, so I display luck that way also: 199G/99.5G = 200% luck 199G/398G = 50% luck Most people seem to think bigger is always better ... Luck% over a range of blocks is simply 1/Mean% Mahalo, Kano...that was helpful.

My Core is still reconstituting from the OS reinstall...so I don't know if anything has come in at the moment. It'll probably take until this afternoon (8hrs or so). My first guess is dust. We'll find out when Kano gets his PepsiMax in a few hours.

Quick question on dust now that we are up to 42 ph or more.
What hash rate is needed to not be dust.
2th?
I ask as I have 1 lone s-7 running on one account.
I have it clocked to 3800 gh.
For,noise heat and power control.

I don't know the answer to your question, but my "dust payment" was probably not because of low hash rate as I have ~ 14TH from my three S7's on a single account.

Spammers regularly harvest addresses from block explorers and send minuscule amounts to them. This is one example and didn't come from the pool.

Is there any danger from them sending coins to an account? Thanks for the info! Edit: What do they gain since a person cannot really tell where it came from? Is it just to verify an account is active at that address? Very interesting.

My thoughts also since other pool members received it. Good luck with the OS.
Thanks...it's fine now. I wanted to upgrade from Ubuntu 14.01 LTS to 16.04 LTS, but got screwed by a bad video driver on the first "leg" of the version-by-version stepping to get there. The nice part, though, is that doing a clean install with 16.04 went smoothly, and since all my software is open-source, it didn't take long to get everything back up. Core's been catching up since yesterday morning (had the whole history to scan). 24 wks behind at the moment. I dumped almost everything MicroSloth (except Skype) mid-2015. Never looked back. EDIT: Wowzers...with spot doing what it is, dust could be more like $7.50 than $.05 by 1600... AND...just saw Con's comment on the payments. I had no clue that existed, but people will try anything. I'm also a bit foggy as to what they could do with it, but oh, well...

Take the pool hash (PHs) x 4 = (GHs). @ 42PHs, 168GHs will borderline dust. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg14544179;topicseen#msg14544179edit: this shortcut works until halving. understand the full logic in the link.

If you check at blockchain.info, which is the block explorer most people use I think, your allowed to add a message for the transaction in the blockchain.info web wallet. If you look at the transaction, the message on top is advertising a ponzi scam, that probably doesn't even pay out. There isn't any danger, other than making a transaction larger if the small 5 cents is included as an input.

The final weekly CDF prize: wmtomlinso has kept the lead this past week with the best CDF before Sunday. So he gets ~0.25BTC from my free from the first 2 blocks for Sunday that we've already got. That'll go to your payout address today. Leading CDF details for this and the Avalon6 are here as usual: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg8895607#msg88956072 days left to see who's in the draw for the final Avalon6 prize!
