Getting the Dark Gravity Wave. 420 coin rewards halves every 500 blocks with 15 seconds in between blocks . Get ready to mine next Friday.
I think the 15 seconds in between blocks will really make a difference in being able to have 15 second transactions for the retail aspect as when people are waiting in a dispensary at a register the faster the better .
Sorry for the delay but Im getting some pros this time to make sure this goes smoothly.
Thanks for the help everyone esp Jahvinchi

15 seconds between blocks is generally not so good because it creates more orphans, you would have many Blocks trying to reach each other at once. 1 minute is generally fine, they could wait off to the side for a moment as you help someone else to make sure it goes through, or assume the risk. It takes more than 1 minute in order to do a debit transaction most times anyways. We're going to take your advice and make it 1 minute blocks, thanks for the input Crest. Yes, that would be the minimum I would go with as well. No need for orphans clogging up the chain. Good to see progress. Come on MaryJ!!

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Just to confirm what has been said, 1 minute or even 30 seconds is fine (Cypher, Droidz works fine with it) but below that it will probably cause issues (forks). And of course with higher block frequency the blockchain is going to get that much bigger in time so the wallet will use that much more space and will take more time to sync for future users.

Yes, please stick with 1 minute. This a very good time as it is just outside of the window of massive problems. And we do not need any more problems with MaryJane please. Let's get this done and move toward the top.

Adam, so what happens with the wallets that aren't exchanges? How do we go about exchanging our coins or are we just updating the current wallet?

But as not even processed from earlier posts that this idea would make the mining to dust tx's would be even twice as fast. Apparently getting more coins out there to mine is at the utmost paramount. Why though? Man, I'm hungry as SHIT...wtf,,,,what ...pineapples ....there goes a deerbra

Weird... ^^ u can stil acces maryJ trough orders or trough main page to buy and sell. i also hope this problem will be solved soon. But i don't think it will take much longer. Just don't fail us and leave that first post the way it is. This thread needs and deserves big time graphical updates, photos, plans and everything. People need to get attracted to this coin!
I said it already. Simple talk is not enough...

Its a long term investment. And adam is very serious about the project. Just the thing is nowadays things are going a bit slow. Hopefully everything would fall in place soon.

I feel everything will fall into place. I'm more interested in how many businesses will be excepting this coin. I'd love to know how the Cannabis Cup was. How many businesses using the coin will really have an effect on the price. Could be a very exciting time for MaryJaneCoin investors!

Am I understanding correctly that in order to show coins held in the original wallet that we have to make a tx of some kind? Does that not require the original wallet to be corrected? If that is the case, then why is a new wallet necessary at all?
Another question/concern: I certainly hope that the holders of coins in the original wallet are satisfied first before creating a new wallet and releasing it to miners, which usually ensues a dump. If that is the case, then original holders will be at a serious disadvantage.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State BlockNet can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State BlockNet to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State BlockNet.” - Joseph Goebbels

I for one would prefer we just correct the old wallet and move on once that is done.
