   I think there are at least 3 forks.  We need to figure out which one we should be on.

I just restarted my client  it's showing block 226503 of 319852 blocks downloaded.  Last block about 1 1/2 hours ago.

Here is the peer info.

My version is 1.2.0.  There are several 1.1.0 clients out there.  418723 appears to be the longest block chain.  I was going to try connecting to only those clients and re-downloading the 418723 blockchain.  The one I'm on seems to be stuck at the last block I staked, about 1 1/2 hours ago.

Based on the last post I'm trying connect with a couple of the IP's that have the longer block chain.  So far it looks good 4320 of 418723

Maybe MaryJ or Jahvinci can post a bootstrap file to make updating faster.  Also does the client need updated checkpoint per Crestington?

Everyone should be careful not to transfer substantial amounts of coin until we're all on the same fork. Working on checkpointing and making a bootstrap file, stay tuned

   I'm not sure the 418723 is actually a good chain either.  I got to 226503 without connecting to specific other clients.  Now that I tried to force myself to use the clients at a height of 418723, I seem to get stuck on block 4320.

   Stopping and restarting the client a few times seems have now have things moving.    up to block 10028 and climbing.

Also I'm just futzing around, don't take anything I say or do as official.  I'm not really sure I even know what I'm doing...  Smiley
I know there are some sharp cookies out there that can look at this mess and tell us exactly where we should be.

I think the 400k chain is the better one, my wallet was somewhere at block 370000. if we take the 200k chain a lot of transactions would be missing.
which is now the case for me. my last transactions i did before the fork arent in my wallet yet.....

You have some people connecting on version 1.1, has the protocol been changed? Maybe you have some conflicts.

They were doing tests with a few wallets and coming back to see if they can fix the root of the problem. I meant version 1.1 as in the first version way way back, like a year ago or something.

  Good question.  I've been on 1.2 since I started back on 10/09/2014.  Also the wallet in the op is version 1.2

My internet went out, but after reconnecting I'm at block 78536 and climbing (18.8%).  This may finish today...

This blk0001.dat till 418723. but its out of sync at 418723. again
or change blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat. and it will start to sync.

they are still working on it.
I know very little of it all but make sure you are not staking on a fork or something.

   You could try stopping and restarting the wallet.  I had to do that several times to get it going.  But, I wouldn't waste your time, until they figure out which fork is the right one.  The one I'm trying now is 418723 and appears to be the longest.  The only problem is I haven't seen it move in several hours, which makes me nervous.  So I would just hold on till someone says "This is the blockchain we should all be on"

Okay lets try this, everyone download this :  https://mega.nz/#!LJUHTBZK!9WxbJvbEuf5lcso-Ma2c5JMM9CXlmiT8PDH_bLeP4P4

This will have two folders in it, one being the MaryJane roaming folder, the other has the v1.2 qt

The roaming folder has the "correct" blockchain already in  it, so it should get everyone on the same chain once you delete your old maryjane roaming folder

Don't forget to add the config file, should look like this :

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=y
server = 1
listen = 1
daemon = 1
port = 11080
addnode=194.135.90.5
addnode=194.135.90.81

then save as "maryjanecoin.conf" , make sure you arent saving as a text document, make sure when you save it the file type will read all files not just txt

    AND MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR wallet.dat file, and make a backup just to be safe.

    Downloaded new stuff.  I'm connected and wallet is unlocked for staking.  I'll give it a little while to see if anything happens if nothing, I'll take a peek at the debug.log file.
