Is anyone else having a problem with the order confirmation page provided after ordering ?  I get the following error,  but perhaps I (or my browser) am at fault...

hi tom,

just sent you an email since my PM is probably backlogged somewhere.

LOL - bad timing...

I have been really trying hard to knock out emails but I just hit another hourly limit.

Domain btcfpga.com has exceeded the max emails per hour (23/20 (114%)) allowed.  Message will be reattempted later

send me another PM right now and I will respond right now
thanks

Hi Tom,

Perhaps you can consider using a simple ticketing system, that would at least allow some basic tracking and email management. It will also allow multiple people to response to the email

cheers

I had that problem and I was already logged in :/ I just used a different payment method since it would not allow me to go past that part until I did

Good Morning,

Went to bed early last night because I felt sick to my stomach after watching the US presidential debate. (no comment) Tongue

I am in the process of having a new website and new system designed on a better server and everything that can handle all of this.

It's (supposed) to be ready to launch by tomorrow... we will see

I'm up and working now if anyone needs me, going to start working on taking care of PM and email correspondence.

You can always call 315-514-0269 if you need my immediate attention. If for some reason I do not answer and do not call you back within an hour please just try and call back

thanks
Tom

I feel your pain, I spent all week trying to convince my bank to release my funds, the orders were somewhere around 800 when I started looking and I ended up with >1000 in two or three days

But based on what Tom was saying, some of these could be duplicates, orders not processed etc, so that makes me feel like I might get it before the end of days, but we'll see!

The order number is roughly twice the amount of bASIC orders at any given time, the numbers get jumped up in between actual orders all day long

This is for a number of reasons:

1) We have been selling and shipping products on this web site since May
2) People abandon and create fake orders every day
3) Credit cards get declined
4) People try to order stuff with guest accounts and don't follow through

I will run a report tomorrow morning and find out exactly how many bASIC units have been sold and let you guys know but typically it has kept pretty true with the rule that the amount of bASIC units ordered is roughly half of the order # count that you get when you place an order.

Chip or board shortage is not really an issue - the only thing that will slow things down is the fact that these have to actually be unboxed - firmware loaded - reboxed with the accessories, postage printed out and shipped.

This can be a lot of work when your talking 500+ units, this is the reason I have rented 2000 square feet of office space (pictures coming soon!) and have been recruiting people from the forum to come work for me for about a week to ten days to get the first wave of shipments out.

The pay will be reasonable and every night at quitting time the pizza and beer will be plentiful. It stands to be a pretty good time Smiley

Sounds like a major headache for you right now.
If you need to sort out your IT contact me and let's get it handled properly - the way you want it Smiley
Whether just getting you the e-mail server you need, or maybe you want a fully redundant setup for the shop too, i can help you.
/end shameless advertisement

You really should get those limits sorted out. Then again, even i don't send that much e-mail as we use ticketing Smiley

Hey Tom, thanks for clarifying this. Any idea how you're doing on getting through your email backlog? I sent an email yesterday morning about a couple orders I placed and would love to be able to complete them.
