It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Silly manipulators should know that if they want to put silly pseudo sell walls up under 250 sats then I am more than happy to buy them.

I suggest others do the same.

It's time to end up the sale period, here.

People will start to think it's normal while in fact, it's the last chance to buy at good price.

Better jump up now because you won't never see such prices again.

A couple of days ago I sold a tiny amount of Bitbay so I could clear away some of the bots/manipulated orders clouding the view. It was about .1 of a BTC. I have made about 50-100 purchases with that so far over the last two days and I still have most of it left!!!

If that doesn't show the low price is a bot/manipulated joke then I don't know what is. The best revenge you can get on these assholes is to buy their 250 orders and make sure they never get to buy back under 500 sats, silly bastards.

I think the idea of a decentral marketplace is very good. But the problem i see is, that u dont need a special altcoin for that. Like ebay, where u dont need only dollar to sell and buy things. So ... what could be the future of bitbay's? U can make a marketplace trading fee. And all bitbays holder get some of this fee. So would be a reason to buy bitbays to get some interest.

I wonder if it would be strategic to allow BTC in the marketplace but add some kind of implicit discount or a combination of other benefits for the use of Bay.  Use of the marketplace could then occur more quickly.

Just a thought...

Smart Contracts imminently and markets to follow, how are people even selling anything at all? I agree with some of the comments about how people need money etc. But, this project was always about investing into, and not day trading. Buy it, and don't think about it for a month or few. Wait for all the stuff to come out which we know they will. Look at what happened with Ripple, I expect with zimbeck behind this, you'll see similar gains in a few weeks.

I agree but the incessant fuckery on BTER is enough to make a man tired of crypto for life. I would love to find the guys who do this to all coins putting in fucking stupid sells to drag the price lower and blow their brains out, it would be illegal in a any other trading environment but Crypto. I can't believe these guys ever get rich either.

Unfortunately you do. Bitcoins blockchain doesn't support new functions and technologies and unless the "all mighty" Bitcoin Foundation would agree to fork BTC those technologies wont advance into BTC.

Why is price falling?

Lets back up and use your head for a moment.

Smart contracts is going to get released soon. That's the best opportunity for whales (who do no believe in any altcoin) to take advantage and profit. So..what do they do? Dump their shares so they can buy more at cheaper price. Remember the time when it hit 150? It was because those same whales had gotten in during ICO and they dumped as soon as trading started so they could cause panic and buy more coins at cheaper price.

Whales are greedy, selfish and they don't care about altcoin future. There is no such thing as too high or too low for whales. If you keep selling they'll keep buying and keep manipulating the market. Solution? Stop selling. I don't think there are many people selling because price still fluctuating between 200-250 so that's a good thing. As an individual you have to keep your shares and don't fall into trap. Price will cross 1000+ in a day after smart contract release. Issue is there is no ETA and that's a good thing for investors because whale is just shooting in the dark and trying to guess ETA.

Bay team is playing very smart on this one and not releasing ETA because it'll hurt the coin in short term. As an investor you should be glad about it  Wink

It's going to be similar to openbazaar as far as my understanding. It's going to be more secure plus faster because of smart contract. No fee would attract more sellers. Price will have no choice and it'll have to go up when everyone is buying bitbay so they can purchase things on marketplace.

Next question could be seller would sell as soon as they get bitbay. Solution to that is hedging just like money marketing and btc has it. Pretty simple and smartest way to do it.

No paypal
No fees
Fast transaction

That's the dream website of sellers. Openbazaar is still in beta and my guess is (I could be wrong) that bitbay is trying to set up marketplace before openbazaar goes online (begining of next year or end of this year)
