The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Bitcoin is still such a small market, look how easy you can manipulate it. There will be a time where only George Soros and Deutsche Bank & Co can do this stuff. We're all early adopters, lawl

I was wondering about this one since I read it earlier, wondering what Jeff Berwick is planning to do with all the Euros his ATMs pick up because they're apparently soon to bring in export limits.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21936554

That's what I wondered, too. Maybe he teamed up with some import/export business. Greek wine and olives Grin

In that case the road to $80 should be wide open again.

I wonder how many people watch the walls and panic when they go up? I mean, it seems like most of us in this thread understand the many reasons why and don't fall for this kind of stuff, but I guess you wouldn't really admit to it here either....

Some might have sold with the anticipation to buy back MUCH cheaper, like maybe at 70 or something. It might not just be panic but instead some people also trying to use the Wallmakers walls to their advantage. In this case it probably didn't work out.

Aaaaaaaaand we're going back up again.

Ok, I understand the principle behind this sort of dump/wall tactic, I think it's pretty silly but I guess it could work at the right moment. But FFS why the hell would you EVER try this on a Tuesday @ 12:00EST right before the big rally of the day is about to start?!

Really? Where did you find such news? I still have only seen Cyprus mentioned.

Of course Portugal and Spain are now worried, but there is nothing official, as far as I'm aware.
