From Coinfire article:

"The DHS investigation also names a second individual based in Saudi Arabia as a potential second suspect in money laundering operations. This individual gave Mr. Garza large sums of cash off the books via wire transfers and was complacent and intimately involved with Mr. Garza."

That does not mean it was ISIS, although it is a strong indicator since so many princes there (and their subordinates) are known to support it.    Additionally the individual may not be Saudi.  I have not yet had time to go through the article posted yesterday (its been opened in a new tab since it was published).  I have not seen what direct quotes they have from that investigation which is why I asked.  There have just been too many people misreading things lately so I wanted to be careful slinging group names around (eg the "coinfire editor" that turns out it was never said to be an editor in the original source material).

Coin Fire is not Coin Brief, which is the news site that employed the writer allegedly linked to ISIS.

There is nothing linking GAW to ISIS except some deranged ramblings by Vlad the village crazy.

READ people, fucking READ, it's free, educational, and as a bonus helps you look less of an idiot.

Yes, all correct.

Also, CoinFire gave the name of one of the individuals on a DHS watchlist (Martin), and another such individual is from Saudi Arabia (no references to ISIS RE: either of these folks).

"While the DHS reports are extremely detailed and further detail alleged fraud and alleged money-laundering for terrorist organizations and supporters, Coin Fire is opting not to publish these documents until a later date as to not jeopardize the current on-going investigation and to as protect our sources."

I used the word "terrorist" earlier (which is what sparked the academic turn in this thread today) because CoinFire did - not because of politics or ideology, which I could do if you'd like - but it'd be boring.

Now we just need someone who has a burner Hashtalk account on standby to sacrifice it for spreading this to the lemmings =D

It'll be deleted and account banned within minutes, but hopefully someone will see it and ask the right questions?

Are we seriously discussing the use of the word "jot" and making up random conspiracy theories about Josh being in Europe to purchase coin-swap and discussing paycoin's involvement in terrorism? I thought they were supposed to be the crazy ones, not us...
in this email leak there was proof that his family was traveling from Paris to Belgium. The purchase of coin-swap was announced a while ago by GAW. etc, etc, etc

1. I remember Mr Coins posting on twitter at some point that this was a great time to buy Paycoin, The price was $2ish I think. A few days later the price had tanked and I was going to reply to his bullish statement but he'd gone and deleted it.

2. Shut the fu about terrorists, they eat at McDonalds but you don't see then being prosecuted. Josh is in this for his own benefit, supporting terrorism isn't part of it.

3. The trading on coin swap seemed to be practically non-existent, maybe it was just bought so he could use some of the code/developers within paybase. The cost of running it now is probably more than it's running costs so would make sense to close it.

4. What's going to be sooner, the buyback loyalty program or withdrawals being re-enabled on paybase?

my mistake, I thought it was coinfire that had the freelance writer.  Maybe because I had just read it in the quote I was responding to, maybe not.  I know that in previous posts I had stated it correctly, cited information, etc to correct the "editor" misconception.

As far as GAW and ISIS it is alleged that there is a DHS investigation into terror funding under what on the surface appears to be a "no questions asked" policy when accepting funds.  This policy is not uncommon in the cryptocoin community it is one that can allow you to run afoul of the law in a land of KYC/AML/ATF laws.

Because of the Saudi Arabian link I believe that some inferred it was ISIS which is why I specifically asked for clarification if it was ISIS or perhaps ELF or some other terror group unaffiliated with the muslim religion.

Legal threats? No wonder none of the current or ex-employees are coming forward....

From my experience the NDA for former employees are not worth the paper that they are written on.. If there is illegal activity then they should not use the NDA as an excuse.

Here is an example
California
In California (and some other states), there are some special circumstances relating to non-disclosure agreements and non-compete clauses. California's courts and legislature have signaled that they generally value an employee's mobility and entrepreneurship more highly than they do protectionist doctrine.

This shit is very serious and the government with use all its resources to track it down. Including tracking all of us.. so this should be left to the experts. They will determine if there is Money laundering activities occuring

If you read his post carefully, you'd see that the NDA isn't stopping him Smiley He's just being very careful from the looks of it.

Here is a travelogue of 100,000 XPY. These were pulled directly from two addresses in this now empty wallet that belongs to GAW/Homero in two 50k chunks on 2/13. These transactions are in Block #67334 , specifically this hash and this hash. I am going to follow the second group. The first follows the same pattern and results, please feel free to check for yourself.
The majority was pulled from this Prime Controller

Which has been completely emptied now. Most or all are in the 5,000,000 "security"wallet, which is GAWS. This shows ownership of this address.

And the rest pulled from this Prime Controller

Which is now also empty, most or all now in the GAW 5,000,000XPY wallet as well. This nails down ownership of these two addresses.

Now for the fun stuff. Lets see where this massive chunk of XPY goes. Any guesses where it ends up?  Wink  Huh  Roll Eyes
The interesting part is all of the trouble gone through to try to cover the origin and destination of all of this XPY. In my opinion this is the most damning thing of all, as it shows criminal intent to deceive the poor fools who honestly believe their precious Homero would never dump massive amounts of XPY directly into the markets, thereby making their XPY investments go down the toilet into Homero's pocket. Angry
Here we go on our convoluted journey in and out of many dozens of new addresses meant to throw people off of the trail. Along the way small amounts get shaved off, I suspect this was done by bots due to the massive amount of transactions.

This pattern is the same with the other 50,000 XPY group, and they both ALL eventually end up on the exchanges.

To all of you idiots on HT who still believe Homero the Brazen LIAR and Con Man: Time to put your Big Boy pants on and face up to the fact that he is ripping you off! STOP PUTTING MONEY IN HIS POCKET! He is on HT saying that all of the dumping is from YOU and that is complete BULLSHIT! That group of 100,000 XPY taken from Prime C0ntrollers on 2/13 ALL goes to exchanges, including PAYBASE! Wake the fuck up already. Right now there is in excess of 2,000,000 XPY doing this same shuffle, ending up on exchanges in preparation for some HUGE dump action. STOP putting up Buy Bids! Homero is going to dump XPY into them and put your BTC in his pocket!!!

In other words.... "Ok, so maaaaybe Paycoin was born of a scam and fraudster who possibly laundered money and supported terrorism, but that doesn't mean we can't all make it the best coin there is."

Yes, it does.
