I don't think anyone vanished. I think it's just Bitcoin dragging all the altcoins everywhere has effected the enthusiasm. However it's a good buying opportunity and one we finish our dev schedule we hopefully will not have to care about that as much anymore.

Discounts for Bay holders – great idea!
I always thought of Bay coins as something slightly inconvenient: you need to buy them before using the market just to make purchases. But if we think of bays as loyalty tokens, they become attractive! And the whole thing with staking/freesing/pegging may have new attracting options. A person who stakes, votes and holds gets more discounts. And off course who owns more bays.

Discounts for Bay holders – great idea!
I always thought of Bay coins as something slightly inconvenient: you need to buy them before using the market just to make purchases. But if we think of bays as loyalty tokens, they become attractive! And the whole thing with staking/freesing/pegging may have new attracting options. A person who stakes, votes and holds gets more discounts. And off course who owns more bays.

Maybe till Dynamic Peg is operational and Web Marketplace launch (end of Sept 2018) this kind of effort to boost the Marketplace isn´t worth it, I don´t know.. but at some moment I think it´d be a good idea for Bitbay team to be more aggresive in their marketing

Anyway, I´m really happy with their work and their effort to meet deadlines. This serious work is fantastic!!
By the way, good moment to fill the bags at this price. I´ll try to get some more Bay

The thing is that Bay community seems to be quite passive, sleepy. In fact, announcements barely get any response. Maybe as devs make so much progress and make a lot of announcements (which is something good) people get insensitive about it.
What I was trying to say it´s that Bay team should do an effort to turn the community into a more active one. Perhaps a bit of MK would hook people and even be appealing to new one. It doesn´t need to be something massive...
I´m just trying to be constructive here, maybe I´m wrong. In any case, I support the project!!

I´ve never said devs are sleepy and passive... I was referring to us, holders, as a community. I suppose it has to do with the bear market.

This has everything to do with the current suppressed market. The alts as a whole (not just BitBay) have been hit hard, and for a long period of time... inevitable after last year's run. This team's dedication to development and marketing hasn't changed with the price. We're still hitting roadmap goals on time, establishing partnerships, and building infrastructure for adoption. While the price is low and everyone is FUDDING, BitBay grows steadily behind the scenes...

I completely agree with this entire statement. I have of course zero complaints regarding development but the community especially on here even in bull market times is passive and practically silent most of the time.

BY cold wallet do you just mean hold in their  local wallet or in other words they have the priv key to the coins on chain?

Also so for example if...

a/ claim your 300:1

b/  or 150:1  by purchasing 2 eth worth of opti?
