It's always darkest before the dawn...I'm hoping Friedcat is turning on some switches tonight.
I would love to wake to 100th+.

Hehe anyways guess we know there is extremely strong support at 2.7

I liked this touch:

Quote
friedcat has goodies coming as I discovered today when someone in particular decided to buy a shitload of shares from me.

 Grin

priceless!

Erm, that's a rumour from some guy you don't know who has motives you can only guess at. Wishing something is true doesn't make it true. You don't even know what it means.

In this market a healthy sense of skepticism may not hurt? Or is it to the moon or bust?

We never defined where the moon was to be honest  Grin And we all know where bust is
Now where was I afk XD

I think "to the moon" is 10 BTC a share... that's the highest I've heard people waffle about.

now, seeing as things in the BTC and more specifically the AM world have become more interesting again, it just dawned on me.

Has anyone yet used the phrase: "let the cat out of the bag" at all?

faith is obviously on the downtrend, but what's in the bag....? what sort of cat does our cat have to produce? time will tell. Hopefully 200TH plus a shitload of discount products that get lapped up. Fuck the sentiment, I still say they are in the best position of any company out there, this moment was only natural and obviously going to come at some point... just like with BTC itself, people are only selling to follow trend and buy back lower. That's my general hunch anyways.

Disclosure: I sold half and am holding half just for the fun (although before that sold another chunk at a break even profit at 2.5ish), BTC and AM have been kind to me but I'm not greedy or smart enough to try follow the markets all the time. Let's see where this takes us, yay. Good luck to all

Maybe, but he quickly locked the thread when interest was too high.

And how do you explain him dropping the price from 2.9 to 2.7?

The one-sided thinking here is mindblowing. You have no idea why he stopped selling.

This is why he stopped selling:

If you're willing to reveal any of your selling rationale, I'd be curious to hear it.

240x ROI, also anticipating a bitcoin bubble soon so I'd like to seal in some of my profits when the hype starts up again. (this is quite a sad, predictable cycle)

I'm not done selling. friedcat has goodies coming as I discovered today when someone in particular decided to buy a shitload of shares from me.

How do you pronounce Friedcat?

Is it \ˈfrēd-kat\ or \ˈfrīd-kat\ ??

I don't know what either of those mean, but I pronounce it like this:

While no idea is perfect, some ideas are useful.

so, a whale bought like 3500+ shares today for ~2.7-2.9?  That's interesting, if true.

Using the notation of the original post on the question, it's  \ˈfrīd-kat\  (Long-I).  That said, I am embarrassed by how long I pronounced it with the long-E, \ˈfrēd-kat\

Alternate pronunciations so far are "performance" and "profit", even with the latest drama.

Hi, I'm the whale.

No, I'm not a board member and I haven't been since April.

I was kind of concerned about having board membership earlier this year because if I did want to liquidate I didn't want to have some sort of insider trading bullshit pinned on me. Also I panic sold enough shares to lose board membership and regretted it later on.

Why was I liquidating?

  • I wanted to prepare my bitcoins for the massive BTCUSD bubble which is coming pretty soon and started getting anxious when ASICMINER shares were slowly dropping
  • Dividend sucked and I expected gigantic panic sells so I threw all my shares out there.

Why did I stop liquidating (for now)?

  • Someone who I think has a pretty informed position in ASICMINER bought a lot of shares from me and so, screw it, if I'm going to lose 25% in a day I might as well stick it out with this guy
  • Then I started getting a ton of PMs for buying shares at market price and realized I might want to wait before I sell too many more, as I was selling some shares way too low.
  • All my offers were being filled by big players, which is usually when you know you're making shitty trades.
  • friedcat has more things to announce, it's not like they planned ~6 months worth of stuff for nothing.

I'm not done selling obviously but I'm definitely done panicking.
