At this point they are all below that level.
Cointerra has a 20nm at around .7W/GH that had started deliveries in January (TerraMinerIV).

KNC has a proven <1W/GH via Jupiters, and is expected to deliver the .51W/GH Neptune this month - Although I couldn't find actual stats this guy has a detailled post as to why:

Those numbers are not exactly good. We went from friedcat claiming [.2 (low power) to .35W/GH] to external manufacturers delivering specs that are entirely different(.85W/GH). As a shareholder I would have liked to hear about it here first, and from a direct source.

Cointerra is 28nm and 1.2w/gh at the wall.

Knc 28nm is more than 1w/gh and neptunes are expected to be 0.6w/gh at the wall. And neptunes are not shipping for at least 2 months.

0.8 w/gh at the wall is good but not as good as we hoped. But it is likely they can squeeze some more efficiency out of these chips.

- Thank you Friedcat and the whole team of ASICMiner for always working very hard and being one of the few honest ASIC companies in the Bitcoin world!
- What is the status, size, and expected delivery of the next batch of chips? What about the one after that?
- What are the final specifications of the generation 3 chips? Initial tests of ROCKMINER showed an increased power consumption. What is the actual power consumption?
- When are the new chips expected to start mining in ASICMiner datacenters?
- When are the sales revenues of the chips expected to be paid out to shareholders?
- Does ROCKMINER (as a big shareholder of ASICMiner) enjoy preferred terms or prices for generation 3 chips?
- What plans for generation 4(+) are there?

Yes... that was the test one.  When AC sells that same system to some other company, does AM own any part of that action?  Early information that came out about the project made it sound to me AM owned the technology, not recent news leads me to believe AC owns the technology... who owns it... who benefits from it...  was AM only a testing partner and nothing more?

Yes without splitting hairs the grosso modo effect is there is a solid gen 3 standard ASIC in the hands of AM. The fact that this was done with the decision to utilize 40 nm process node manufactured in an environment where this is most economical to produce and backed by a proven entity like AM is significant.

What is done to capitalize on it could be of even greater significance.

The leakage currents depend on temperature and could increase significant if the chips were too hot, i.e. inefficient cooling was used. Not sure how significant this effect would be in this case. Might be neglectable....

Friedcats numbers could perhaps assume immersion cooling?

Then again the guy who did the testing probably knows this stuff heck of a lot better than me and didn't do any such misstakes.
