1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: March 12, 2023, 08:32:40 PM
Trust no one.

But if there's someone as your source for various trading tips and giving also you the essence of the market based on their experience, why you'll limit yourself to only one of them?

You can't trust them at all times but if you think that those things they're telling you are helpful to you, then get those that seems to be healthy and helpful to you as a trader.

Don't limit yourself from those sources only too because the information that you can get is totally a lot from what we know and if you jump of with resources through the web, you might be overwhelmed.
Definitely true and something that you should really consider on which you should trust no one when it comes to trading tips and other signals around.I agree on most words on here that
everyone of us here on this market are speculators and no one is really that having that capacity or capability on knowing on where the price would actually go.This is why it would really
be that good that you are the ones who do make out such step for you to make yourself that aware or make yourself as a good trader.Trust no one when it comes to
market positioning.
We can admire someone and follow them for their words but that doesn't mean that you'll trust them wholly. There have been styles and strategies from different marketers that they're making a rapport first for engagement before they show their true intention to one of their followers.

And that is to market a service or to sell something from their own.

That's why trust no one on this market because if the market is too brutal, there will be an equal or even more brutal reality and strategies from making a trader believe to what they say.
1002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto or Forex? on: March 12, 2023, 07:32:35 PM
I haven't tried forex but even if someone encouraged me to do it, I won't.

It's because when I was looking for study materials and searching for experiences and testimonials of the traders of that market, I find it difficult honestly and it's not the type of market that I should go on.

I know myself better and if I'll continue and will try hard on it, still, I think that I will never find my success there. That's why when I see someone who's doing both markets, I acknowledge their greatness.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 12, 2023, 06:20:38 PM
I have always wanted to ask this question is it that there is no opportunity or they do not want to get rich
Mate please more to this I am confused here.
There are those people that needs a helping hand to get up and there are those that don't really need but yet, they choose what they are. Laziness does a lot of thing for a person and that stops the joy for going through the process of the riches.

While those people that want to be rich but they're doing the wrong process because they only want the quickest way to become rich overnight, they don't become rich and they fall mostly on traps and scams.

The biggest factor is about mindset. When you think that you'll be poor forever, you'll be.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone saw the New Bitcoin Advertisement? on: March 11, 2023, 10:14:28 PM
It's like a lowkey protest to me more than an advertisement. But, as they're now a big and can be compared to financial institutions in the country, Coinbase should make more of these videos.

Since they have the capacity to make and sponsor such videos, most people that will see that advert will have the idea and will surely agree to what they're saying about the financial flaws and the introduction for bitcoin is gonna given with that highlight.

On the other hand, it's like another competitor having their endorsement of their service that deprives the other competitors.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $17K or $23K? on: March 11, 2023, 09:13:20 PM
An opportunity like this is an opportunity that can be considered to be true, we should not worry or be afraid of it, the value of bitcoin has
nowhere else to go besides decreasing its value but raising its value again in the market.
Us, long term people don't really worry with this. What's worrying is that when we're in a situation that we can't take advantage of such positions and opportunities of some personal reasons that we're unable to do.

I'm moving forward that whether it tests back to its support, that's totally fine. Am I the only one who thinks that every great bull run that does come requires some disaster or collapses just as what we've seen in the past?

As we talk about the cycle, with the past bull runs that I've seen that seems to be the thing.

1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happening with USDC? on: March 11, 2023, 11:22:27 AM
Not really sure how all these stable coins work but how did a stable coin that is supposed to be equal to one US Dollar go down in price? Huh
USDC is made by Circle.

Circle has $3.3B deposits in Silvergate bank.

Silvergate bank files forced liquidation and that means a lot for Circle and mostly affecting USDC.

See news: Crypto bank Silvergate announces liquidation amid sector turmoil

Just like the collapse of UST and Luna, that means a lot to the market which affects the entire whole crypto market but I don't think that USDC will be ending the same as UST/USTC. And whenever there's sort of news like this, the involved crypto whether it's a stable coin or an alt coin, it's always been affected and getting a lot of dumps which results to its value goes down.
USDC has nothing to do with UST; it won't have the same fate. However, this is denting trust in cryptocurrencies, especially stablecoins. Do you believe that the USDC will recover? We are already seeing other stablecoins depegging; even BUSD has suffered losses, though minimal, and it's still below $1. DAI has also suffered a major decline, dropping to $0.93. This doesn't look too optimistic, and it may cause another huge crash in the market. This may also cause the end of stablecoin staking.
I've said that it won't be ending the same as UST, what I'm telling is its collapse for now means a lot to the market.

I believe that USDC will still recover, it's far from the collapse of UST and we both agree with that. As long as Circle will remain committed to its production and development of USDC, many will still believe them that this just has to pass.

I like DAI and it didn't really looked when it fell to $0.93, it has gotten me some worry but I'd still trust it as it's still not that too deep. Who knows if by tomorrow they'll even fall below $0.8 but hopefully, not.

1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 10, 2023, 11:58:36 PM
Any wallet that's known and gives you the seed or private keys but with the easiest version of it, Electrum. This is only for bitcoin so if you're trading bitcoin/usd or bitcoin/usdt pair then Electrum is only for bitcoin so don't forget about that.

Usually traders are keeping their funds on exchanges and that's not recommended unless it's an amount that you afford to lose. If you happen to earn some bitcoins, don't be too lazy to withdraw it and transfer it to your chosen wallet like Electrum.

Also, there are multi-cryptocurrency wallets that you can also try like Exodus, Atomic, etc. they provide various supports for many cryptocurrencies.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 10, 2023, 11:02:49 PM
I have been seeing the progress of cryptocurrency these past few years, and I've been thinking, will it definitely be a replacement for physical money and use crypto as a primary transactions in our everyday life?
IMHO.

There's no need to think about it anymore. Beforehand, it's like a topic that's on the everyday discussion but with things right now, it's no longer an interesting to talk about.

And that is because whether there's an approval from the government, it won't really matter because the power is on our hands whether we're in a place where the crypto community is truly supportive.

Coming to the point that most merchants accepts it lightly without any problem and all are voluntarily happily accepting it.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 10, 2023, 10:04:50 PM
That's true.

We have no option but to sell because it is where most likely our savings is in and as long as it is in profit, we still feel the regret that we have to let go with our holdings because we don't know if we'll be able to take it back at the same amount.

Just think that you've used the profit in good purpose and that's already a great deal to you after holding it for a quick or long period of time. That's the best consolation that one will get by thinking that you've got the best deal ever with your money through investing in bitcoin and upon selling it in profit, you'll use it for that important thing you want to purchase.
Not all the time do our plans work so well, sometimes we got to reach tough days when we need to diversify our plans and take the plan B.
Might selling not at the perfect price is disappointing but I don't think it is a failure but kinda be a test of how we respond to the situation, especially when we are following the plan. This would tell us that not all can manage to hold and if they broke their plan, I believe there is a valid reason why it happens - emotional or emergency.
It's not a failure if it's been put into the best use of the money you'll be taking from selling bitcoin. Whether it's on a loss or a profit, as long as you know where it is heading then it's a success.

The response of each of us varies from the sale that we've made and if your response is somewhat satisfying then you don't have to regret it because you know that you made the right choice.

We can always accumulate but it's harder the next time around because the price might be higher or the situation might be harder.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Safe in Trading Crypto on: March 10, 2023, 09:11:55 PM
  • 2-factor authentication (2FA) - an excellent first step in preventing password hacking
2FA is no longer just an option these days but it's a must. It's like having another lock to your safe vault and those that don't use it are the ones more prone to hacking.

When someone breaches your trading account or online wallets but you have activated the 2FA feature, aside from they'll not be able to access your funds, they'll have hard time accessing it.

And instead of continuing and pursuing for it, they might just give up and that's why this second layer of protection is a must.[/list]

Good to hear if you are managing your investment well and everything happen based on your plans. However, for some here who have no let options but to sell
That's true.

1016  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K on: March 08, 2023, 10:14:49 PM
But it makes me wonder why it's not happening yet.
This one of the beauty of bitcoin, this is also to break those false assumptions of those people that think bitcoin is just a fad and a scam.

Soon, it's without a doubt that it will happen. Don't be hasty as it's coming and going with a process and that's why we're not there yet. Bitcoin has its own move and chart and that can't be controlled by anyone.

I know how exciting it is to see that so that we can boast our profits again to those that have mocked us just because they knew we're a bitcoin holder and they think that it's going downhill.

There were members that have already suggested about moving the thread to the right section and there's no need to repeat it again guys.

@OP is the token tradable somewhere? I can't find more details about it listed on some exchanges. It's not yet on cmc/cg too.

1018  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 05, 2023, 11:05:30 PM
Not enough details to prove that they're a scam and so what if they're selling their domain and showing it higher than the suggested price of any website?

I have never heard of them but I think before you accuse a service or a website or a person, you need to gather accurate and enough proof to say that they're an actual.

Thus, websites like trustpilot are no longer reliable with regards to information on how to spot a scam website. Reading the reviews there, most of them were made recently.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bookmaker clone on: March 03, 2023, 10:06:35 PM
I think that I've seen the same design from other casinos, yeah, not just one but quite a few number of it. The best way to know is to visit each casino on this section and check out their designs.

Since you're already here, you can visit each of them and try to compare if the design is the same as betboom and pin-up. That design isn't unique and that depends who their developers are or the provider that they've been using.

So, I guess you'll be able to find similarity on other casinos by just spending your time browsing here.
1020  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LocalBitcoins.com Exit Scam on: March 02, 2023, 10:15:50 PM
I've heard about that never ending KYC requirement and they'll make it as a loop to those selected users that has some problems with them. Not on my end but too bad that there really were those people that experiencing this before their closure.

Not that much to do and as time ticks before their final days, I just wish you that they'll respond to your complain properly and address it based on how you want to receive the response from them.

You've made another thread and hopefully you answer back here with the questions given above.
