Liton Das lost his wicket early today with just seven runs for which Bangladesh finished the game in tougher conditions. Even though Bangladesh played badly, their run rate was not lower than England. If Bangladesh could have played the remaining 16 balls, England would have been under a lot of pressure and maybe England would not have beaten Bangladesh today, but because of the loss of every wicket in Bangladesh, England had a huge opportunity to beat Bangladesh and they took advantage of their chances.
As of now, Litton Das remains as the backbone of Bangladesh batting. His dismissal early on was a blow for Bangladesh and they never recovered from it. The total of 209 was never going to be enough. But at the same time, credit should be given for the lower order batsmen for chipping in with useful contributions (especially Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam). Lots of negatives for both the teams, but more for Bangladesh. They were playing at home, and the pitch was tailor made for their bowlers. And yet they lost the match. If Bangladesh were able to give a target like 240, maybe they could have won. Despite being given a target of 210 runs, the way Bangladesh fought back, and made the match competitive, is truly commendable. We don't see good performances from Bangladeshi batsmen. As the pitch was spin friendly. I expected a little better batting from responsible batsmen like Shakib, Afifa and Miraz on this pitch. But these three batsmen cannot play well. Liton Das's performance was also not good. But apart from Dawid Malan, the performance of England's other batsmen was also poor. Even if Bangladesh does not win the series, it will be challenging for England to win this series. Maybe there are chances,but we can't be sure of it. In the final match, Australia won the toss and batted first, collecting 156 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The hosts lost 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and stopped at 137 runs. Australia won the women's T20 final match for the third consecutive time after defeating South Africa. With this, Australia won the world's best title for the 6th time in T20. I would agree especially that both Australia's batting and bowling line-ups are currently the strongest line-up. Although my mistake was to rely on England and I lost the semi-final match. I found this season of PSL more exciting than other seasons. Teams are often able to score 200 runs or more in this tournament. In T20 league 4 and 6 run boundaries really inspires the spectators. Last match Lahore Qalandars scored 241 runs and in today's match also they scored 200 runs. This type of batting will give them more chances to win. Moreover, their bowling line-up is also quite strong. Islamabad United lost all wickets for 90 runs. Lahore Q has performed really well, Bad day for Islamabad United. Congrats to team captain and the whole team of Lahore. The match was amazing Yes, Lahore Qalandars have performed really well. 200 runs is a big target.
