One of the things I love about this forum is that sincerity and effort are rewarded. It is easy to spot members who are only in it for the quick merits and earnings, but the community is quick to recognize those who are truly committed to providing valuable insights and engaging in meaningful discussions.
Of course, everything worth doing takes time and effort, but the rewards are well worth it. While it is good to contribute quality posts and information to the community, we also need to recognize that not everyone is going to be an expert on every topic. It is okay for newbies to stick to what they know and feel comfortable discussing, rather than trying too hard to provide a content that may not be their area of expertise.
In fact, I think it is better to have a variety of perspectives and experiences on the forum, rather than everyone trying to sound like an expert on every topic. This way, we can all learn from each other and engage in meaningful discussions that showcase our individual strengths and knowledge.
So if you are new to the forum and feeling a bit intimidated, do not worry! Stick to what you know and feel comfortable discussing, and the rest will come with time and experience. As long as you approach the forum with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and engage with the community, you will find that your efforts are always appreciated.

I agree, if the threads are valuable, then why stop people from creating new ones? It is important to focus on preventing spam rather than limiting the creation of new content. And if anyone comes across a thread that they believe is spammy, repetitive or off-topic, they can always report it to the moderator.

It's very hard to totally disappear from internet no ?, Satoshi was very smart to disappear without leaving any clue.
Well, they do say that the best place to hide a tree is in a forest. Satoshi may have just pulled off the ultimate disappearing act by blending in with the vast sea of information on the internet, never to be found again. Maybe they are just waiting for the perfect moment to reappear and shock us all with their grand reveal. Or maybe they are just sipping margaritas on a deserted island somewhere, enjoying their newfound anonymity. Either way, it is a mystery that will keep internet sleuths scratching their heads for years to come!

In my opinion, the issue of gambling and religion is a complex one that requires a nuanced approach. While some religious teachings condemn gambling, others may view it as a personal choice that is not necessarily sinful. As for religious leaders, I believe that they are just like any other human beings and may also engage in gambling activities. They are not saints.

~ So my question is now is the crime of plagiarism more offensive than scamming? Both plagiarism and scamming are serious offenses that can harm individuals and communities. However, forums need to have clear and consistent policies and enforcement mechanisms. Plagiarism is often evident and easily verified, but preventing scammers from exploiting the forum can be challenging. That is why many forums have strict policies against plagiarism and may ban users who violate these policies. Scamming, however, is a gray area and is generally not moderated on the forum.

Lightning Network and Bitcoin are two different technologies that serve different purposes.
As I understand it, the Lightning Network is a layer 2 protocol that operates on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. It is designed to address some of the scalability issues that Bitcoin faces by allowing for off-chain transactions. While Bitcoin transactions are publicly recorded on the blockchain, the Lightning Network transactions are not.

Well, that depends on how luxurious you want your retirement to be! Do you envision a retirement filled with yachts, private jets, and caviar? In that case, I would say a lot! However, if you are happy living in a cardboard box and dining on canned beans, then maybe you will not need any BTC at all. Jokes aside, predicting the exact amount of BTC needed for retirement in 10 years can be quite challenging, as it depends on various factors such as the volatility of the market and your personal expenses. All I can suggest that it is never too early to start saving and investing for retirement to achieve financial security and peace of mind.

1. Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin and also created bitcoin.org Why did he not secure bitcoin.com domain. Does he have problem with the .com domain extension?
He could have if he wanted to, but he decided to go with the .org domain instead. The .org top-level domain was originally intended for non-profit organizations and has been used as such for many years. However, over time, the use of .org TLDs has expanded beyond non-profit organizations, and it is now commonly used for a variety of purposes. For example, many open-source projects use .org TLDs as a way to highlight their commitment to community-building, collaboration, and advocacy. I mean as a CEO or an entrepreneur, what you are expected to do is to register and secure the two top level domain extensions(.com and .org) to your business name. Why did Satoshi and Malmi register register bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org and forgot about bitcoin.com?
Satoshi is neither a CEO nor an entrepreneur, in that sense. If he wanted to establish a company based on the Bitcoin project, he would likely have registered a .com domain, but he chose not to do so.

So, I was DCAing, and at some point in January, 2023 I had 350 CNS (some coins) at 45 USD in average. Then I sold 100 of CNS. So now I have 250 CNS. The question: is the average still 45 USD per CNS? Or how do I calculate average price per coin after selling 100 of them?
To calculate the average purchase price of your coins, when you have multiple transactions, you can use the weighted average method. For example, let's say you purchased 10 coins at $100, sold 5 at $150, and then purchased 5 more at $90. The calculations would be as follows: Transaction 1: Buy 10 coins at $100 Total cost = 10 x $100 = $1000 Transaction 2: Sell 5 coins at $150 Total cost = Total cost - $750 (5 x $150, but we will subtract that amount since you received money) Transaction 3: Buy 5 coins at $90 Total cost = Total cost + $450 (5 x $90) Total cost of all transactions = $1000 - $750 + $450 = $700 Total quantity of coins purchased = 10 - 5 + 5 = 10 Average purchase price = $700 / 10 = $70 Therefore, the average purchase price of your coins in this case would be $70. Using this calculation method will provide a more precise average price compared to only calculating the purchase price. Essentially, each time you purchase coins at a price below the current average and sell them at a price higher than the current average, your overall average purchase price will decrease.

Honestly, I do not think many of them would even exist without Musk. They are all just riding the hype train, and without him, they would probably be nothing. Maybe there would have been some other celebrity or influencer who would have championed the cause of meme coins. But let's be real, it is hard to imagine anyone having the same level of impact as Elon Musk. I mean, he can just tweet something and the whole market reacts. He is like the king of memes!

~ I would very much appreciate any suggestions,
Have you given any thought to the possibility of utilizing crypto debit cards? They offer a convenient way to use cryptocurrency for everyday purchases, and many of them also come with additional features such as rewards programs and cashback incentives. Some of the most popular options include the Binance Card, Coinbase Card, BitPay Card, Crypto.com Card...

Yes, it appears I've lost $170,000. And to make matters worse, I trusted someone online who gave me this info. I've lost everything. I don't know what to do.
I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this. It is important to take a step back and assess the situation. Have you reported this to the authorities? At the same time, it's also important to learn from this experience and be cautious of trusting anyone online with financial information or investments in the future.

It's not about how much money you have, it's about making the most of what you do have. Even a small investment can yield big returns in the world of crypto. I remember when I first started investing in Bitcoin, I only had a few hundred bucks to spare. But I did my research, took the plunge, and now I've seen my investment grow substantially. It's all about taking action, no matter how small. If you're waiting for the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin, you're going to be waiting forever.

You are barely making sense, but I can guess what you are trying to ask. To answer your question, I think sharing your private key with someone is a big deal as they will have full access to your bitcoins. If you want to do so, make sure it is someone you really trust and who understands all the risks. It might be tempting to share it with a family member, but they might not know how to keep it safe. As for someone who introduced you to bitcoin, I see no reason why you would do that. If you want to show gratitude, there are alternative and safer ways to do so. So, think carefully before sharing your bitcoin key and make sure you are comfortable with the person you are sharing it with.

~ Imho developers shouldn't care about the price but focus on the development. In fact usually when price talk is allowed in the official chat, i am not investing into that.
Totally agree with you, mate! Back in the day, people invested in ICOs and IDOs during the bull market because they were all the rage and pretty much guaranteed investors a sweet return. That is why 99.99% of projects turned out to be scams in the long run. But developers should focus more on the development of their projects than on the price of the tokens. At the end of the day, a project's success should be based on its technological advancements and real-world usefulness, not its price or how popular it is in the crypto market. That is my take on it, anyways.

is this question worth changing the forums code or editing the forums code .
No, I do not believe that this question warrants changing or editing the forum's code. Usually, code changes should only be made if there is a critical issue or if there is a significant benefit to the user experience. In this case, the forum software works as it should.

how can i make this type of notification hidden or make the post to not show in my "show new replies to your posts" section,
I am sorry to say, but I do not think it is possible to make this type of notification hidden. The whole purpose of this feature is to keep you updated on new activity related to your posts. I participated first time in bounty campaign but how can i get rid of this unwanted notification.
If you do not want to go through and read every single thread, you can simply click on "mark all messages as read" which will clear the list. At least until the next reply in one of those threads.

I am a newbie and this is my first ever forum account and i am addicted to it, i log in many many times a day, what can i do to stop addiction, "every addiction is bad"
Well, they say the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one, so kudos to you for recognizing your addiction! But seriously, forum addiction? Really? I suppose you could try finding something else to do with your time, like knitting or watching paint dry. But let's be honest, what could possibly be more thrilling than scrolling through endless pages of forum posts? Just embrace the addiction and revel in your newfound hobby! is it happened to your sometime when you were newbie?
In all seriousness, I have a feeling that this may not actually be a case of addiction. Good luck on your journey to recovery, though!

Probably a new drama. Simply ignore them if you can. ~
I am not sure what they are even trying to do here... Especially when I saw the post from their latest rep: Hello guys!
The OP's account of this thread has nothing to do with 1xBit in any regards.
I expect we will have some good laughs about this one.

Hello guys!
The OP's account of this thread has nothing to do with 1xBit in any regards.
Ok you are confirming that there are going to be no efforts to fix any issues your trust history has? I am laughing out loud in here. Why did do even make this thread. LOL! Someone trolling one of the biggest trolls on the forum? This will be a fun thing to watch. @1xbit1.com, can you prove that you are in control of the 1xbit1(.)com domain?
