1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 15, 2023, 09:41:54 PM
Certainly there is no strategies in gambling. And if by any means there is any strategy then it should be the cautions to gamble or to gamblers.
There is no winning strategy towards gambling, especially when it comes to casino gambling. The closest you could come is in the sportsbook but even that too comes without any assurance as you still could be beaten on your best bet.

Though, there is nothing wrong with having a style or format of play. It's one way to ensure control over what funds your ready to gamble with and how many tries you would want to take before you either win or exhaust your gambling funds.

It's aways cool you approach gambling with some permutation, even though it's a game of luck.
Gambling is literally dependent on luck, so even if you have the best strategies to use while gambling, that won’t give an assurance that you will actually win in the end. The casino operators have seen it coming, so they have already set plan for it. And to think that gambling always gives edge to the house, that’s why if you don’t have the luck to win, gambling experience will never be a profitable one.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 15, 2023, 09:25:58 PM
hello is it possible to cashout money  without being the owner  without having documents to proof you are the owner  and when the account is frozen?

only thing i have is that payment method that was used  was mine and the cashout would go towards that account
If you have full control over the account then yes but if the account is frozen then that is totally impossible feat. Even if the payment method was yours that wouldn't mean much to consider a cash out since you state that the account is frozen.
Yes, once the account is frozen, you cannot make any withdrawals from your account but you can  continue to deposit or transfer money into that account. That is the consequence having a frozen account. Just wait for a week or more before that account can be unfreeze, and that’s the time withdrawal will be now allowed.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I become productive in this forum? on: April 14, 2023, 10:58:40 PM
I discovered am not growing as expect in the forum and I have realizes so many things about my posts and comments, things like; repetitions, off threads, shallow contents, inability to defend your posts or comments, refused instructions, walking out my strength and best field of knowledge of bitcoin and finally trying to beat or become others.

These statement above makes many victims of not being useful or productive in the forum. Am ready to amends my ways and I guess others too. What have you observed about my page posts and comments? And what did you suggests I best lay on? What's your advised to others? Though am not the only victim here but am only the repented soul for now, please deliver me. Thank you
Buddy chill, you might be overthinking about it too much. This is a forum for discussions and not really something of a workplace for "usefulness" or being productive. Just use the forum whenever you like it. Sometimes I just do not post at all whenever I do not feel like Bitcoin-y at the moment (yeah I made that word up, lol).

You have way more productivity waiting outside the computer if you would ask me.
Right. OP seems so obsessed on how to make it instantly productive in the forum. It’s a working process mate  so you have to do your due diligence in learning inside the forum, so you can actually engage productively with other participants in the discussion. But never obliged yourself to take the pressure and compete with other forum members. The forum is a good and productive place to stay, as long as you didn’t mind the pressures around.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: April 14, 2023, 10:43:22 PM
Should newbie traders be only concerned about making profit? I do not think so.

What do you think, let us discuss?
While I agree with the OP's point, can I also point out that profit making is in trading shouldn't be ignored. Because if all you have experienced as a trader is loss, I can bet that you are already demoralized and demotivated to keep trading. As a newbie trader, it lies on you to find an equilibrium point between making profit and being grounded in the principle of trading. Make profit will keep you interested in trading.
That’s the reason why both profiting and losing shouldn’t be ignored. It’s okay if you are consistently making profits in trading because that’s a sign that you are applying what you have actually learned from your first trading experiences, but if you see yourself in consistent losses, I think that’s already a bad sign. Maybe you are just using wrong strategies or it’s just that, you are not meant to be a good trader. That way, you can just settle in hodling first.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 14, 2023, 09:47:30 PM
When you're short on cash, it can be difficult to quit borrowing money.

Everyone has been there. We're short on cash and in a lot of debt, but a cover loan to get out of the red and even improve our readiness is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Blissful days? Sadly, no. It all comes down to the straightforward, yet frequently misunderstood, formula that says borrowing more money equals more debt. It is more difficult to return to black the more debt you accumulate.

The majority of us live beyond our means, which is one of the primary causes of our ever-increasing habit of borrowing money. Simply put, incomings are outpacing outgoings. It's also getting worse.

More than at any time in the past two decades, millions of Americans are spending more than they earn. Spending on credit cards, the most common type of personal debt, is estimated to be rising at a rate faster than at any other time in American history.
This is actually happening not just in America but to all parts of the world. Maybe that’s more because of the present lifestyle that people chose to live, they prefer to live having luxurious lifestyle and clearly spend above their means, so the outcome is they eventually get broke later on. Except for those who borrow for investments, I think that is reasonable enough if they are also borrowing an amount they can manage to pay even if their investments won’t completely work.
1226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your most preferred Bitcoin investment strategy right now? on: April 14, 2023, 09:11:46 PM
... but newbies prefer HODL I guess if I'm not mistaken because that's the easiest way to make profits in the long run if you do have a lot of patient as well.

I don't think newbies like HODL because newbies are people who don't have much experience but always want to make money quickly. Most newbies will start with trading, especially futures trading, because they think that just buying low and selling high will be profitable and won't take too long. But after having a bad experience in trading, they start thinking about holding for a long as it is less risky as well as better return.
To be honest, some people in my locality get rich with bitcoin, but mostly holding, I haven't seen anyone get rich through trading, so I'm also a long-term holder.
For newbies, knowing they are more greedy than experienced traders or hodlers, they will surely want to be more active in trading because they really believe that it could be the best way to make them rich instantly. But when reality hits them, that they are more prone to losses when trading, that’s the time they start to settle on hodling. Even myself, I was also like that before, but now I realized that there is better opportunity to make profits from long term hodling, just be patient and never get bothered with price fluctuations, surely you will make it big in the end.
1227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more useful in this forum on: April 13, 2023, 09:59:08 PM
So dear seniors and good peoples, can you please give me some simple but effective Direction to improve me?
the simplest way(even though actually doing it is not really simple) I can think of is to read, learn, and discuss, that is basically what you need to improve. read, learn or join discussions about what really interests you to expand your knowledge and join or create discussions on what you've learned.
That is certainly the basics in the forum. If you’re a newbie, be more open minded to learn and accept new insights, and understand what you have read and research because you will use what you have learned in your future discussion. Never gets tired but always do your due diligence in the forum, that way you will acquire a lot of knowledge and interesting skills later on. And when you have that already, then it will be easier for you to make yourself useful and productive in the forum.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 13, 2023, 09:41:01 PM
We share the same viewpoint on this; risk is present in all investments and businesses, not just Bitcoin.

In my opinion, the risk is when you invest in something where you are unsure of your profit or even your return, which means you could lose it all, and in this regard, there are many businesses that involve high risk, but people take the risk because they believe that the higher the risk, the greater the profit and return, which is true most of the time and sometimes not, which is why it is called risk-taking.
High risks are also an increased danger to our investments, no need to think that this will help us make a big profit, it can also take away our funds. All risks must be justified, and if in doubt, it is better not to invest in this coin at all, but to look for something more reliable. Even if it brings less profit, but you will be confident in what you are doing.

Bitcoin is a good investment, but before you start investing, you need to thoroughly study its history and see how it moves. Risk will be present in any investment, somewhere more, somewhere less.
True, not all those who take high risks are gaining bigger profits in return. In fact, what they only gain is life changing losses that could deprive their bright future ahead. So never believe it’s mostly possible most especially for beginner investors. Taking small risk at the beginning is good enough, you will only increase it once you are in consistent profits already and you may think that investing a bigger amount could be more helpful with your future profits.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 13, 2023, 08:50:49 PM
Not gonna affect people.

People still gonna gamble, especially in "Football" which generated the most revenue on gambling. As you can see, even in the World Cup on QATAR with most religions countries.

Gambling revenue comparing 2018 world cup has just increase 13% without any betting sponsor.
I also think this will not create any difference in gambling. People will continue to gamble because they were used to it most particularly for football as it’s gaining a lot of popularity and demand from all gamblers all over the world. So with or without betting sponsor, gambling will still be a big hit for football as most of the audience too are probably fond in gambling.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 10, 2023, 07:08:35 PM
~snip~
For those who have ever tipped a dealer, have you been so satisfied with a dealer that you tipped them something other than a chip, money ?
^ For me, it is generally seen as a way to express gratitude for good service, while tipping with cash or chips is the most common way to show appreciation for a dealer's work, it is not unheard of to tip with something more unusual. But on my side, I will not give tips once I lose, I give tips when I am in a winning situation. However, they know already that tipping should never be seen as mandatory or expected, while it is a way to show appreciation only. That is a lucky dealer who has received car as a tip, probably that player who gave tip has won a big amount.
Well, tipping is only our act of being grateful for their service and for their job well done. Though it’s not compulsory, but i think it’s a like a culture in casinos that you have to give them something or reward them because you were satisfied of their services. However, it mostly happens when you are in profits, some may even leave generous tips for them. But in times where you are in a great loss, mostly dealers do not receive anything from gamblers.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: April 10, 2023, 01:48:41 PM
This is my rating. This is a little different from @cryptoperkele's rating and much of everyone's ratings hehe. However, we should give more importance to a good rewards program, a good user interface and a good help desk. If a gambling site has these, it will certainly have a strong community and a good reputation heheheh.

Features:Importance:
Huge variety of games and different sections (sports, live tables, etc
Good bonus/reward program
Good looking, intuitive and fast user interface
Good help desk
Strong community/ Reputation
The age of the site
Casino's own token that pays dividends / ability to mine it by gambling
Instant deposits & payments
No Kyc
Nr of payment methods

I guess putting the highest emphasis in strong community/ reputation will top it all. Because if a certain casino is reputable, that means everything in it is perfectly aligned. So no need to worry on good bonuses, good help desk and fast user interface as they can be well observed and practiced in a reputable casino.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 10, 2023, 08:09:48 AM

Just baby steps for Casimero starting in this fight and I think he will be good in this division. Inoue on the other hand has his hands full with Fulton and maybe the other champion in this division.

They might take a different path, but if Inoue win against Fulton then all roads lead to him. So Casimero will have to win every fight moving forward starting here. And he should fight big name after this one so that he will be recognized by the governing body as a potential mandatory fighter for Inoue in the future. So still there is a big chance for him to face Inoue as this is the fight that he wanted since bantamweight.
We could assume that it was an easy fight for Casimero, unlike the way we think if he fights against Inoue. But it looks like their path is too long to cross but fans are waiting.

But in this fight of Casimero against a not known boxer, it is something it won't help to bring him closer to a big fight but just drop it down. We don't know of their plan but honestly, it is more interesting to witness his fight if he faces known boxers in his current division, unlike this which was just like an easy game for him(in my opinion).
I would agree to this. This fight maybe an easy win for Casimero since it’s obvious that he got all the advantage compared to his opponent. But honestly, matches like this will not improve and level up his boxing career. He should be pair with another impressive fighter so that there is more challenge and that the audience too will be more entertained watching them. I just hope after this fight, Casimero will face a challenger that is also equal with his potentials as that will determine who is really the undisputed one.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 10, 2023, 07:21:27 AM
Martingale strategy in casinos. How do you feel about it?  Huh Huh Huh My little experience sometimes comes with a good result) but more often the result is negative
If you are trying the martingale strategy just to get some fun then that is fine, however if you are expecting positive results from it then I am sorry to disappoint you as this will not happen, the idea behind martingale is attractive, if you lose and you double the amount of money at risk during the next bet not only you can win your bet but you can recover the money you have lost previously, however casinos know about this strategy and they do not fear it, do you know why? Because over the long term you will lose enough times in a row and lose all your capital.
Martingale strategy is attractive but only for those who have not been there and are still tempted to bet because of their greed. However, for those who have been doing martingale before, I guess most of them are not gonna do it again and just settle for small bets if their bankroll are just limited. Except for rich and high rollers as they have all the reason to love this strategy since losing their bets cannot affect them financially.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 06:34:18 AM
My opinion is that it is practically impossible to happen in free countries.
Even if a person is "addicted", the individual is free to make the choice to gamble or not. It is not an activity where the company forces the person to gamble.
Just make the comparison with addictions to drink and cigarettes, nobody is forbidden to buy or consume.
There can be discouraging actions, but a certificate like this I find extremely difficult.

Controlling countries can easily make gambling illegal or not allow the individual.
I believe that most gambling sites contain a readme with the information that everyone is responsible for the bets and the money.

In your opinion, who would issue this certificate? Who would have the right to decide whether or not the individual can bet?

You have a point mate. As long as you're living in a democratic country, you have all the right what to do in your life as long as its not against the government rules. You can drink, smoke, or gamble all you want, but make sure you are responsible of its consequences. And with regards to this type of certificate, I guess this is only possible in countries with small population as the government can control every actions of their citizens. Other than that, majority of the countries cannot control the activities of every citizen, though they can make restrictions.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: April 09, 2023, 09:58:04 PM
As you all will say that Still there is almost 1 and half year away for USA elections but still I want to highlight this option because here there will be almost in millions of bets that people will do and also that's based on speculations and also someone's interest.
I think that this could be one of the biggest Bets we can see because a whole world Knows america and it's superpower and it's has international recognization because of it's influence to the whole world.
So what are your speculations over this USA elections. And I know that everybody has their own speculations and also wins and also loose. So let's see what will happen?

It would be nice to see some new blood in the game, I see John F. Kennedy Jr. has thrown his hat into the ring as a possible candidate for the Democratic party, at 69 he's at least younger than the current two expected candidates. However it would be nice to see some people in their 40's or 50's who are well balanced, able to negotiate across party lines and generally more in tune with the generations either side of them. It seems obscene in the current age that the most sophisticated and advanced country on the planet is stuck with two contenders on the verge of going senile. It's very hard to predict the winner but it feels like Trump is definitely too tarnished compared to his first run.
Well, Trump might still get the power from the people as he still has a lot of connections to help in his campaign, but talking about his productivity as a politician, I don’t things he’s capable enough. I just hope to see a new candidate that is all in, you know with a younger age and that has bigger plans for the future of the country, and not just to fulfill one’s desire by entering politics.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 09, 2023, 09:42:17 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

I guess what people need in gambling is more of luck than strategies or skills. Because even in games like sportsbetting, though it’s a skill-based, but I believe if you don’t have luck, you will never have the chances to win too. That’s the reason why gambling is not to earn a living but only for fun and entertainment purposes only. Otherwise, you will never see the good side in gambling.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 09, 2023, 09:19:07 PM
You are right in there. Money should not be the first thing to acquire but certainly knowledge and skills. Invest in yourself first before you invest for profits. And once you have that, you will have easy money coming your way. However, when it comes to investing, it’s still a basic thing to do to invest cautiously. Especially if you have less money to invest, at least you should be avoiding creating mistakes as that will lose the money that you put in.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 09, 2023, 08:27:51 PM
I have seen several casinos with promotions where they do "drops" to thousands of people or they give bonuses to several gamblers, but how transparent is this process?

Do you think casinos are really doing these drops to 1000s of people or are they skimming from the top.... ? They might say a drop is for 2500 people, but they might only drop for 500 people and nobody will know. Yes, some of those 500 people will report that they have received the drop and it will look legit.... but is it really?

How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it? Let's discuss this.. I am curious if other people also thought about this...  Tongue

We will never know, just like when others accused casinos of cheating them and that the casino's are not fair. Not unless they will have to show us the name of the gamblers that have received the drop and they themselves confirmed it. But as gamblers in crypto, we wanted to remain as private and anonymous so I doubt that casinos will give us the names or the gamblers confirming that they've got the drop.

So for me there's no way to confirmed it.
I also think that it’s not even necessary to know the list of those who were given the drop, for what? Whatever it is, casinos have all the right either to disclose or to keep it private since it’s just a bonus and it’s not that they should be obliged to give that. What I am more concern is their transparency and honesty when it comes to releasing our funds especially for big wins. Otherwise, it will cause a big problem not just to the player but even to the casino’s reputation.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 09, 2023, 07:46:10 PM
I just thought I would be unlucky if I lost many games and wouldn't blame the casino because it was my own fault. Also, I only play in trusted casinos so I would not believe that they are cheating the players and taking the money, even if it is a small amount of money.

There might be a way of knowing that a casino is cheating or honest but I don't know how. If you play at a casino suspected of cheating its members, you may also be suspicious of the casino.
Well, as much as gambling is concern, once you’re unlucky, it’s possible that you will end up losing from all your games and eventually used up all your money. However, in cases that the games are rigged, that’s the main reason why we should avoid playing unlicensed casinos because they can actually do that, unfortunately we can’t sue them for that since they are even unregistered. And maybe there’s a way of identifying the games that are being rigged, but maybe the casinos are not practicing it or it’s just that no casino will ever admit that their games are rigged regardless of how reputable or not the casino is.
1240  Other / Off-topic / Re: I have bought my Dream Mobile Phone Because of Signature Compaign earnings on: April 08, 2023, 09:44:13 PM
Congratulations on your achievement OP. That is just the start, you still have a lot of things to gain in the future if you continue to put hardwork and determination in everything that you do. You are just one good proof that failure  is never the end of your world, until you decide to get up and continue to grow in the forum, you will always be profitable in the long run. I just hope that your post will leave a positive remark and will continue to inspire especially newbies that there won’t be success if there are no failures at first. So good luck on your crypto journey OP.
