Hello Patrike,

can you add the MinerID to the summary tab or something else to find it better. I only see the MinerID if i generate a API report right?

I need the ID for zilliqa switching. I work with Swaggadan on a new zil switcher version for Awesomeminer.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 0.1.1 beta on: October 15, 2019, 08:31:14 AM
Hello. How about idea to add to gpu miner support
for all these cpu algos such as yescryptr16/yescryptr32/yespower/yespowerr16/
Power2b/lyra2z330/Terahash/m7m/defyx/Randomx/Ghostrider/Scrypt^2?

It is not possible or make no sense, thats the ideao of this algo´s  Roll Eyes

Someone tried to use phönixminer or claymore to mine zilliqa?

Yes i use Claymore 15.0 to mine Ethereum and Zilliqa. Put the zil_switcher.exe file and your .bat file in the same folder as Claymore and the script will find Claymore and use it. Easy peasy Wink

I don´t need to put everthing in the same folder dude  Wink

I need the switcher only for my non ethash rigs, to switch to zilliqa.
All ethash rigs mining on rustpool, on rustpool you don´t need a switcher, the pool switch for you  Wink  you can mine every ethash coin + zilliqa

But i contact kidkid1 that we can update the zil switcher for awesomeminer.

Any way to integrate it with Awsomeminer?

For Awsomeminer, you must use External Miner option.

No you can start and stop miners via api. I have 1 rig with zilliqa miner. If zil pow starts, the miner starts a cmd file with api´s to stop all primary miners in awesomeminer.

Can you add the option to start cmd files at start and the end of the pow? I don´t need killing the miner process.

I only need this:

1. CMD
curl -i -d POST http://192.168.2.113:17790/api/miners/[MinerID]?action=stop

2. CMD
curl -i -d POST http://192.168.2.113:17790/api/miners/[MinerID]?action=start

Please PM @kidkid1 to properly explain this so we can work on it.

Yes, it would very helpful for so many people.

Someone tried to use phönixminer or claymore to mine zilliqa?

dual mining does not work on RX cards , it says no GPU detected

You read the first post?
Dual mining only on NVIDIA Cards
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Low hashrate on eth mining after Windows update on: October 14, 2019, 08:10:02 AM
I tried many ways from youtube and google to disable windows update but all of them not working.  I mean it diable but my rig still updating every time it has new windows updates. I just always use the "paused" but it has a limited time of 1 month just to avoid or prevent windows for checking the latest updates.

The best that he can do if he doesn't want to experience this again better use other OS like SMOS this one I think will give better hashrate than windows just make sure the cards are modded already.

After disabling the Windows Update service in services.msc panel.
Go to gpedit.msc from run and in Windows settings, disable Automatic Windows Update and it should completely shut down any updates in the future.
You can also go with Windows 10 LTSC version where you only receive security updates rather than feature updates.

ohh another guy who find the right option to disable windows updates. I am not alone here Cheesy

As I was a regular user of SRB miner in the past I will follow this new topic to see the development for the new SRBMiner-MULTI
Good luck doktor83 with your new development

the cpu miner is very slow on cpupower  Sad

Intel 3770

cpupower opti   800 h/s on 4 threads
srbminer          715 h/s on 8 threads or 430 h/s on 4 threads

Which one is cpupower opti ?
Also any other settings , like affinity used?

I´m mining on cpu pool and use there miner:

https://github.com/cpu-pool/cpuminer-opt-cpupower/releases

cpu affinity = 0x55 = 0 2 4 6

1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING with both GPU and the CPU on the same PC. DUAL MINING!!! on: October 01, 2019, 01:36:40 PM
In the past whenever I did separate CPU and GPU mining I had to configure it to use all the cores except one. Basically if you try and mine with all cores on the CPU, your GPU speeds will slowdown.

So if you got a 4 core CPU, you need to configure it to mine with 3 cores and leave the last one unused, the last one will be used for the GPU mining. Most GPU miners don't need a lot of CPU resources however if all CPU cores are using 99% usage then the GPU miner will lag from time to time and you will get a slower speed.

Sorry this is wrong. We mining with all cores on our rigs (Intel G3900) and the gpu´s didn´t slow down.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING with both GPU and the CPU on the same PC. DUAL MINING!!! on: September 27, 2019, 12:45:10 PM
CPU mining on a dedicated GPU rig (more GPUs than CPU cores) is not advised.
Although GPU mining hardly uses any CPU you still want the CPU to be responsive
whenever it's needed.

Whatever, test it and see how much CPU mining affects GPU mining  performance.
Different algos mined on the CPU will have a different impact on GPU performance.

I mine with every cpu in my gpu rigs (6 - 13 GPU rigs). No impact on GPU mining speed. Some rigs has a celeron g3900 or g1840 in it and i mine on all cores with no impact.

Another rig has 1 GPU instance, 1 CPU instance and 5 HDD miner running, no impact  Wink
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Remote mining rig through Android phone any suggestion for windows 10? on: September 26, 2019, 06:50:50 AM
Guys I just want to ask if someone knows alternatives for chrome remote desktop because lately the chrome remote desktop not working anymore everytime I try to connect with my Android Phone the screen shows black only arow shows in the background.

Also, I have problem when connecting before the mining rig always stuck or freezing so everytime the miner freeze I reset or forcing it to shutdown and turning on again. It always fixes the issue but the miner always stuck. I don't know what is the reason. I heard its because of the latest windows 10 update but I already remove them and fix the issue before but right the issue back without windows update. Any help, please...

And I hope someone could suggest if what good alternative for chrome remote desktop for free. Thanks.

Which miner freeze? Which cards do you use? Some more infos please.
You are using HDMI dongle´s or have a screen on every rig?

Use Anydesk to connect to your rigs.

1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH network hashrate going to the moon!!!! on: September 23, 2019, 06:22:20 AM
it seems that there is new players in the game

from 27 august, to today, we have gone from 170.000Gh/s to 189.000Gh/s. I haven't seen this enormous hashrate switch from any other coin. All other coins maintain normally their Hashrate. So this increase are new players. Big farms switching from place to get better price per kW? probably.

New ASIC coming online? probably.

is this madness going to continue?? are really people investing into new rigs to get something around from 10 to 40$ month profit after electricity? are people so desperate???

LOL this is not much. Look at the overall network hashrate chart and you see this is normal. The diff increase a little bit and all dudes began to cry  Roll Eyes

20.12.18 160.000GH and on 26.12.18 it has 189.000GH for example.

https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate

your answer is just to simplistic. Let me tell you.

By 20-12-18, the price of ETH was nearly 90€. It was non profitable. But!!! and this is the issue, all the other alts were doing far worse than ETH. This made a huge amount of Hashrate from other alts switch to ETH.

But that case is not this one, since there is no hashrate switch from other algos to ETH. It's just new hashrate into the market. Which totally invalidates your statements.

It's not that i cry. i don't care. It's just how miserable you have to be, to turn on your gpus generating heat and big electricity bills to gain 30$ on a month.

And you cry like a baby. Sorry your statement ist shit and nothing more. You say you never see a so much increasing of hashrate. So it´s wrong.
My Cards do more than 30$ in a month XD. I gain over 1000$ extra cash in a month with my old RX cards after electric  Wink

My answer is to simple and your comment say nothing XD

1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH network hashrate going to the moon!!!! on: August 08, 2019, 09:31:02 AM
Brutally increasing hashrate on ETH. From 165 to 180.000 Gh/s in just 3 days. What da Fuck is going on???

Are new ASIC joining?? GPU mining at current prices is just NOT PROFITABLE in the 0.09$ taxes included (which is only possible in third world countries) . 15.000GH/s appearing in 3 days? It's simply not possible for GPU mining to achieve that number. What is happening???

in 90 days, the difficulty has increased a 23%. WTF!!!!

15 GH/s? you mean 15 TH/s and this is not much so what is your problem?
Why it is not possible to achieve this number with gpu´s? And 15 Th in 3 days is not correct, it is around an increasing of 6 th in the last 3 days.
Maybe some big farms change from zhash or something else to ethash algo.

Version 6.7.3 ( Development preview of 6.8 )

 Awesome Miner Antminer S9 firmware
  - Better performance and flexible hashrate and power configuration when mining with Antminer S9
  - Integrates with Awesome Miner by providing: LED flash, pause and resume mining in a power efficient way, antivirus scan and apply mining profiles (hashrate and power usage).
  - The features are available via the ASIC tools menu and as rule actions in Awesome Miner
  - Display of power usage
  - SSH access to the Antminer
  - Mining fee 2%
  - Awesome Miner can install this firmware even when the Antminer is locked with signature check and SSH is disabled (contact us for instructions)
  - For more information, see the web site: https://www.awesomeminer.com/antminerfirmware

Way cool dude! I don't own any, but awesome to see your rolling your own firmware like that!

Own Antminer Software is very cool, but in my opinion it must be without dev fee for the higher Awesomeminer Editions. We have now a 40 Miner License and we want to upgrade to the next step (100 Miners). This is a very big step and it cost so much that i believe it is better to release a Firmware without devfee for the Awesomeminer Editions with 100 and more miners.
