Coinbase got drained, but are they the only bad coders out there? I mean, how many exchanges did probably get drained from the replay attacks? My guess: many and a new dark age might be dawning for crypto
Coinbase got drained? Is this true? How much are their losses and please post the link of the news please. I would like to read more about it. I was just on my coin base account and it let me buy ETH if I want to . so no idea what he means .

are there any Sha256 alt coin pools they let us set the pay out as eth ? That would give me a reason to use my old sha256 miners for a while longer or put it to use for a little longer . remember I said lets me set my payout to eth not can I mine eth with a bitcoin miner .I know you can not mine ETH with a sha256 miner but is what I'm asking possible ? .or are there any pools that do it yet ? . it is possible with a scrpt miner pool i use .

he still under NDA I'm sure why we haven't heard anything or BW thinks it's not worth to them to do what he wants to do and he may not want to give us the bad news .!!!! I'm not counting on it anymore from any of the chip makers i going nothing but GPU miners there cheaper much easier to set up or scrpt miners and I'm making a few bucks or all most as much i was when the S5 came out but will keep hoping they sell home miners again one day that are new and not old stuff when the new stuff comes out.

tip: I discovered something new to nite that didn't start till now if the power cables start getting warm or hot to the touch plug the cables directly into the boards don't use the patch cables in between, mine were starting to heat up due to the weather changes i think because all winter long there was never a hot or warm cable and i used the in the between cable or patch cable now I'm plugged into the boards from the PSU and the cables seem to stay cool or normal. + i have one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000065DK8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 blowing on it so i could remove all the load fans and put in quieter ones .

You could try increasing the queue size with the -Q option.
Have tried all different -Q settngs from 0 to 99, same results. Is libmicrohttpd dependency required for proper getwork operation? I just noticed when building on the S5 it says it cannot find it, even though its installed. I know it has something to do with getwork, just not sure if it mattered. That is the only difference between the S5 and RasPi builds that I can think of. RasPi BFGMiner was compiled with all the dependencies. you can compile it with all dependencies on the s5 controller what ever they are which i have no idea the exact lines or code. other then try it should download them all and it should fit . apt-get -y install git-core build-essential autoconf automake libtool pkg-config libcurl4-gnutls-dev libjansson-dev uthash-dev libncursesw5-dev libudev-dev libusb-1.0-0-dev libevent-dev libmicrohttpd-dev libncurses5-dev libblkmaker-0.1-dev
this apt-get -y install libgcrypt20-dev might be needed for this to work during the compile/install did it saying something about cli missing you may not have something or be able to use something .

I'll not comment if it's legit or not - just think about that "4x6PIN PCIe power connector.", image how 1800W can be delivered through those connectors. I can tell you how - with flames Forget that scam and don't even bother....again, asic which will work till end of the year, wow priceless ! i was thinking that to those wires are gonna get hot not warm but hot and probable burn into the pci plug on the boards unless they figured out a way to run that much over four wires and keep the heat down @ 450 watts per wire yea fun time watching that 4k burn up.

hm, maybe i should solo my ping is 18 ms avg but my hash is only 60 mh waiting for some place to sell rx 480 again id rather buy them from new egg places like that but those places are out of stock I got the cash so i wait.
i would solo with 700 mh and pool as well mostly solo till it becomes to hard .
tracert is first hop
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms Wireless_Broadband_Router.home [192.168.1.1]
Thats your own router. You need to look at first hop that is not on your/ your operators network. You can try solomining with lower difficulty dagger-hashimoto coins. That gives you an idea about solo, if it still feels like your thing you can move on to bigger/ more profitable projects. final hop is 15 19 ms 19 ms 19 ms ethpool.org [158.69.25.85] no it's not my thing i don't have the Patience for it , but if i had a closer hash rate of 1 gh i would give it a try .. i have tried solo with btc and ltc and other coins and stand at awe at those that do and do give it some thought from time to time .

That would be really bad if they went under, .Innosilicon was very solid up till now if that's the case if no A4 comes i can only think how much more the script miners we have now will increases in price including the old Zeus Miners of which the older ones have some but with no one making any but good kind of i guess you won't have to worry to much about upgrading and can keep using those A2 and titans and Alchemist and still make a lot . I guess there is no money in it hardware wise like there is with sha256 miners no one makes one if they do they have turned out so far to be one big scam or go bankrupt and if Innosilicon dies same thing, mining seems good . just getting new hardware not used for script mining is hard if not impossible. I think BW makes a scrpt chip but they won't share it .

You should mention that there won't be any profit at all if people mine with computer system, because of the bad hash rate. In most cases, the electric bill would be of more cost than the total bitcoin value mined.
True and with no investment yea right you need up to date video cards and not just one if you want to make anything worth while . maybe some the of newer CPU might get away with it but you will need a boat load of those as well more CPU's then GPU that might cost tons more then the GPU. I was one of them as well who thought nice idea but make money mining back then , was i wrong i had the PC's then could have made millions but my misjudgement was my end . cya

I think if we use ubuntu it's not effective, because for maintenance is very high
No clue what you're talking about - Ubuntu, like most LINUX distributions, is free and the updates are also free. There is no "maintainance" that is very high on it. Because monitoring 100 rigs on Ubuntu with no monitoring solution is very high maintenance. use a windows PC/laptop with the right monitoring software then run the rigs with ubuntu it's actually is better easy to work with etc and the drivers for Ubuntu 15 and lower add monitoring any way .
