1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AI answer to how can bitcoin price drop to 0$ on: December 16, 2022, 10:34:46 PM
I liked these answers given by the AI and i don't think there's much left to add about this subject of price dropping to 0 and the chances of this to happen are very low and very close to impossible

As far as I understand, ChatGPT is a language processing model developed by OpenAI. ChatGPT is not a good source for relevant opinions because it is a machine learning model and does not have personal experiences or beliefs. It can only generate text based on the patterns and information that have been programmed into it. While ChatGPT may be able to generate text that appears to express an opinion, it does not have the ability to form its own opinions or engage in critical thinking.

I think Installing a Bitcoin ATM can be a great way to provide an easy and convenient way for customers to buy and sell Bitcoin in your area. But the first thing to consider when installing a Bitcoin ATM is regulation. You should check with your local authorities to see if there are any specific regulations or licenses required for operating a Bitcoin ATM in your area. Another important thing you should think about is security. You will have to implement security measures to protect the machine and the funds it handles. This may include installing cameras, using secure hardware... It is also a good idea to do some research on the various companies that manufacture and operate Bitcoin ATMs, as well as the types of machines that are available. This will help you make an informed decision about which machine is the best fit for your business. Anyway, good luck!
1383  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facts not feelings on: December 16, 2022, 09:01:28 PM
I think ultimately, it is more important to take a balanced approach, and try to address the facts while acknowledging and respecting people's feelings. Neither of these things alone is going to be the solution, or even the key factor in avoiding online trolling. But they are certainly a good place to start. Debate is healthy and important in society, but what is more important is providing quality information to people instead of baseless opinions. That said, if you cannot accept people's opinions and beliefs, I do not see how a discussion could ever be worthwhile. But if you can agree to disagree in this way, then the conversation will hopefully be able to move forward. My recommendation is to approach an online discussion with a balanced approach, acknowledge both sides equally and not solely from your PoV.
1384  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cryptochanger.to Locked SCAM or what? on: December 16, 2022, 08:32:58 PM
We are more than happy to get the feedback and that's the reason why we constantly add more features based on users recommendations, but when posts are senseless trash selling comments that have 0 proof or meaning we have to make a stop to it and that's exactly what you can see in previous posts, where users make trash selling comments just because we're a new exchange i think that can't be fair.

I am a little surprised that you came to this community without any preparation, and that you do not seem to understand how online communities work. Therefore, I am going to have to mark this comment as manipulative and distracting from the real problem.

Please check the first posts and you would understand.
We tried reporting to moderators but we have got no response, that's why wanted to stop advertising our service since we can't fight baseless claims we had to close the thread.

That is bullshit! No serious business should be afraid of criticism. It does not matter what anyone says on the internet, as long as you can refute it with facts and arguments. If you cannot do that, then you are clearly not up to the job.

If there is any moderator reading this please check our threads and review the trash selling posts we're receiving, we would be happy to reopen our thread.

Have you ever heard of freedom of speech? I am sure we can all agree that nobody has the right to punish another person for expressing their opinion in a public forum. Is that what you want? In that case, you are in the wrong place.
1385  Other / Meta / Re: One click and jump in to ninjastic.space [Time saving tricks] on: December 15, 2022, 10:59:51 PM
What is wrong with using BPIP Extension?

I mean, I have nothing against your DIY approach and I applaud your initiative, but I just thought it was worth mentioning that there are other ways to get around using the Ninjastic.space and BPIP.org websites than manually searching by typing or copy-pasting the user's name. BPIP Extension is a much more efficient way and it can save you a lot of time. I would highly recommend it.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create wealth first before the use of bitcoin on: December 15, 2022, 10:55:22 PM
Not only in rural areas, but people in general. Don't get me wrong — bitcoin is GREAT, but it doesn't provide income; it just somewhat gives your savings a boost. I'd personally focus on having a second(or third) source of income first before allocating a bigger chunk of money into bitcoin.
Right. In fact, bitcoin cannot guarantee us sustainable profits because of its market volatility so we should  secure first our finances through looking a stable job that can give us fixed income. When there is already good amount of capital that is considered extra money, then we can start investing in bitcoin. We must only consider it a side income, definitely not a main job. Otherwise, we will end up starving again because of extreme poverty.

True. But that only applies if you look at Bitcoin as an investment, and we should not. Bitcoin is a currency, not an investment. Bitcoin does not produce income, it is not a stock, but it is a currency. We should use it as such.
1387  Other / Archival / Re: Helping Potential Legendary, Hero, Senior and Full Members (New Year Update) on: December 15, 2022, 10:16:22 PM
Wow, thanks Ratimov! I am grateful and humbled to be considered among the legendary members of this forum. I hope I can do justice to this privilege and that, in some small way, my contributions will help preserve their legacy for future generations. I wish everyone good luck and much success in the coming year 2023!
1388  Other / Meta / Re: Ignored user's post on QUOTE is visible on: December 14, 2022, 11:11:40 PM
I would not hold my breath for this feature, as it would be technically very difficult to implement. There is no easy way to hide all quotes from an ignored user. Quotes can be edited, split, merged, changed... so, there is no simple algorithm that could take all of that into account.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A class about Bitcoin is being taught at the university.I am an teacher on there on: December 14, 2022, 10:39:57 PM
@coinerer, I think this is a great initiative on your part. I am honestly just amazed that such a class exists, even at a university level! I bet you are really excited to be teaching this class and being able to share your experience with some students.

By the way, you mentioned that you made a proposal to the principal only a few days ago, yet classes have already begun? I assumed that such a project would take long to prepare and require many resources, even if it were an optional course. So, when exactly did the classes begin? How many lessons have you completed and what are students saying about them so far?
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Platforms should accept Bitcoin - Makes more sense on: December 14, 2022, 09:23:16 PM
Yes. It makes sense for the digital platforms to accept Bitcoin. More specifically, it makes economic sense. Not only would it be nice to see the smaller businesses to accept Bitcoin, but it would be even better if larger companies came on board as well. There is no reason any company should not accept bitcoin as a payment option since there are no substantial fees involved and transactions are very quick to complete. However, it is not that easy. The problem with Bitcoin right now is that it has no legal backing everywhere in the world equally. If a dispute arises between buyer and seller, the legal system cannot step in and settle it. That is why big players are not taking Bitcoin payments seriously as of yet.
1391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For them it's always about the money on: December 14, 2022, 08:46:28 PM
OP, I am assuming that you are interested in Youtubers because you want to enter the crypto industry, and seek out advice from real professionals. However, there are a lot of people on YouTube who are not really professionals, either. They are just people with a camera and an interest in gadgets, and they will say whatever will put you in a buying mood. I have said this before: it is very easy to get caught up in the hype. I have been there myself, and it is not fun. The crypto market is full of people who are just trying to make a quick buck off of your enthusiasm. They will tell you that they have special knowledge that nobody else has, and they will claim to be able to predict price movements with great accuracy. Do not listen to some guy on YouTube who says he made thousands of dollars in a day because he bought an obscure altcoin that nobody else knew about. He is lying, obviously. If you want to make money in the crypto space, then you need to do your research and be sure that what you are buying is actually a good deal. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
1392  Economy / Reputation / Re: Neutral tag about my post quality on: December 14, 2022, 08:37:48 PM
~
This type of tag, despite being neutral, jeopardizes the quality of my posts, which can make people who don't know me at all question my work.
And I think that yes, it's annoying, a person being limited in the opportunities they can enjoy because of someone else's misinterpretation or opinion.

There is no need to be upset about this. Although we would like all feedback to be based on concrete facts, this is unfortunately not always the case. Negative feedback may be based on feelings, assumptions or other reasons that are not necessarily related to your quality as a poster. But one single neutral feedback on your account has no impact whatsoever, let alone that it can jeopardize the quality of your posts. The only person who can damage the quality of your posts is you. As for your participation in sig. campaigns, I do not see a problem since no respectable campaign manager will base their judgment of the quality of your posts on that neutral tag but rather on your previous posting history. I am not sure what Royse777's criteria are, but he obviously felt you were qualified enough to be accepted into the campaign.
1393  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone posted here about our Project then sabotage us to give him money on: December 11, 2022, 07:24:14 PM

In your case, it is difficult to give an objective opinion because of the lack of information. I guess you can create a new topic and prove you are an official representative by placing a link to that topic on your website and social profiles. After that, you can report the old topic so that the moderators lock it.

Where is the correct place in your opinion ? Someone already recommended the Reputation board but i would appreciate second opinion.

Actually, I was talking about creating a new ANN topic. In your first post, you said that someone else (a guy with legendary status) created a topic in the Announcements (Altcoins) board on your behalf. You can create a new topic and ask the moderators to lock the old one (since it is not official).

I just want to show the conversation with the guy and his way of insisting on posting here about small projects and if they don't pay him, he calls them a scam on multiple platforms. This is lowkey f*cked up and ruins very hard work of building something.

You can show screenshots of the conversation here as well. Also, you can mention which member it is. This is a democracy, and everyone has the right to speak their mind. The only thing you should not make public is the other party's personal information, such as an email address or full name. If the moderators feel that the topic needs to be moved to Reputation, they will move it, or you can do it yourself.

I stalked his profile and noticed this is not the first time he has done that. My whole goal with wasting my time and sharing this is to prevent this if possible. I bet there are people coming here to find some new projects and it is very pity someone can manipulate which one is good one and which not depending on how much he is paid and his "legendary status and old account"

The great thing about a free platform like this forum is that it gives everyone an opportunity to share their opinion. But the good thing is that you can refute false accusations with your own arguments and counter-evidence.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever tried Anti Martingale Strategy? on: December 11, 2022, 06:51:58 PM
Both the Martingale and reverse Martingale strategies have their own strengths and weaknesses. It really comes down to your personal preferences. The classic Martingale allows you to recover losses quickly, while the reverse Martingale strategy allows you to maximize your winnings. However, both strategies also have significant risks, such as the potential for large losses if you hit a long losing streak. As a result, it is important to carefully consider the risks and rewards of these strategies before using them in online gambling.

Here is a comparison of the two strategies and their application to online gambling (source) :

In the end, the result is the same.
1395  Economy / Lending / Re: Please help with 20-30 dollar loan on: December 11, 2022, 05:55:41 PM
I'm asking if anyone can lend me 20-30 dollars to get me an Uber after I get evicted .

I do not mean to be insensitive, but if you are on a budget and cannot afford Uber, why not take public transportation? Or walk, like Timelord2067 suggested. It is good for your health.

I can surely pay it back within 2-3 days I'll give you all my info as in my driver's license my address all of it to assure you I'm legit .

Surely? I am not so sure. Your credit score is pretty bad. Considering that you will be evicted, that your car is impounded, and all that...

I'll give you all my info as in my driver's license my address all of it to assure you I'm legit .

What good is that?
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use? on: December 11, 2022, 04:19:53 PM
I imagine that like all other game developers, slot game developers get the soundtracks they use from a variety of sources. Those sources include music libraries, professional or freelance composers and production music companies. Music libraries are collections of pre-recorded music tracks that can be licensed for use in a variety of media, including games. Composers are individual musicians who create original music tracks for specific clients or projects. Some slot game developers may also create their own soundtracks in-house using a team of in-house composers and sound designers. It depends on their decision about what they want, what kind of resources are available to them and how much money they can spend.

This whole situation shows only how toxic this space can be.

No! I do not think so. The crypto community is made up of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, experiences, and motivations. Just like in any other community, there are likely to be both good and bad actors in the crypto space. Therefore, it is important to consider the actions of individuals rather than making blanket judgments about the entire community.

In your case, it is difficult to give an objective opinion because of the lack of information. I guess you can create a new topic and prove you are an official representative by placing a link to that topic on your website and social profiles. 1398  Economy / Reputation / Re: Problem on Logo Design Order on: December 11, 2022, 11:52:04 AM
Thanks guys for your responses, I appreciate it a lot. Yeah it shows his unprofessionalism side on that thing, and it might also indicate that this is not the first time he doing this. I was just unsure to take firm action on it because the cost for this work is not that big. Though, a little thing could affect the reputation of a company.

For now, I'll wait his reply to my latest message and if he doesn't respond nor ignore my message, I might leave neutral feedback as @dkbit98 suggests so everyone could be aware of him and the project he is about to launch. Further step such as negative feedback could be taken if there is no solution between us.

I am curious about his reaction to the logo design. Did he like it? I would suggest that you try to explain to him that it is unprofessional and unfair for him to walk away from the deal like that, especially after you've already put your effort and time into creating the logo design. Especially considering that the money is not that big, as you said.

If he is still interested in having an ANN made, offer him a logo and an ANN design as part of the package. Or adjust your price for the work you have done so far and make sure to get paid upfront for it.

You do not have to leave a negative tag on his account, but I think it would be fair if you left a neutral tag on the account with a reference to this thread or at least a mention of the brand. If they are struggling with finances at the very start, the community should know which casino it is because of the potential risk.

1400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The future with Bitcoin is bright on: December 09, 2022, 09:01:41 PM
~
But as a newbie that want to tread this path, what are the things I need to know about it? Will buying and hording for a long time profit me?

Some people believe that Bitcoin will eventually become a global currency, which would mean that it could be used for online transactions and purchases absolutely anywhere in the world. Because it is decentralized and not controlled by any government or financial institution, it could provide an alternative to traditional forms of money and enable people to make transactions without the need for intermediaries.

Another potential use of Bitcoin in the future is as a store of value. Because the supply of Bitcoin is limited and cannot be easily manipulated by governments or banks, it could be seen as a more stable and reliable way to hold wealth compared to traditional currencies that are subject to inflation.

Overall, the future of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is uncertain, but they have the potential to revolutionize the way we think about and use money. No one can tell you that you will profit by buying and hording bitcoin for a long time, but if you are looking to invest in a currency that may have potential, this is one of the best options. The main thing to remember is that the value of any currency is based on what other people are willing to pay for it; if there is no one else who wants Bitcoin, then its price can drop significantly. That is why it is important for beginners to understand the basics of Bitcoin and the potential risks and rewards of investing in it.
