I hope this review is more accurate than the one you posted about how the Constantinople Hard Fork killed eth mining profit Smiley  Grin

1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Fork/Block Reward Reduction Kills GPU Mining Profitability on: March 14, 2019, 01:27:37 PM
Average Block Time decreased by 5 sec from 20 down to 15 sec. This is quite much and with low diffi, i get the same amount of eth like before the fork.

https://etherscan.io/chart/blocktime

25% block time reduction vs 33% reward reduction Huh

LOL and lower diffi -35% ?
Ok you ignore it XD

25% block reduction + 35% lower diffi versus 33% reward reduction, this is what you must compare.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you use hdmi dummy plug for your mining rig? on: March 14, 2019, 09:10:19 AM
My rig was running fine for months without hdmi dummy plug and after Windows 10 updated to version 1709, it stopped.
First gpu started to hash 0 mh/s so I had to buy cheap hdmi dummy plug.
After I pluged it in, it works fine now.
I was wondering, how come gpu could work without hdmi dummy plug before, and after windows updated it can only run with hdmi dummy plug?
I used same drivers before and after windows update.
Gpus are rx 470 4gb.

i am wondering if you have ever got an answer for your question?
because i also face the same issue
few rigs run perfectly well for one year, and after some windows updates they require this plug
why is that? and how can i make it to work just like it did for a whole year without having to buy 15 dummies for 15 rigs?
uninstalling the update will not help, because windows will reinstall it FORCEFULLY without asking for your permission, even when you have Windows Pro (you can disable it ONLY for 30 days)

You can deactivate the Windows10 update completly, you only must find the right option in windows for this  Wink My rigs make no update for around 1,5 years.
But i think, buy a hdmi dummy, it is better in every case and sorry you have 15 rigs and a hdmi dummy is to expensive? 2$ for 1 so 30$ is to much? EPIC FAIL
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: March 13, 2019, 07:50:54 PM
From epoch 390 http://rudnik.hopto.org:5000/ is now paying 9zil per share

After the last POW, all my rigs freeze, so i think there was another issue.

there was no issue with pool or blockchain for days, block are way faster now maybe you need to adjust when zilminer close the primery miner as sometimes block are <50sec

also zilminer make issue on some AMD rigs and those ppl repoted that zil switcher solved their issues
https://github.com/DanSoQt/ZilSwitcher

there you can define to even close main miner on 98 block so even problematic AMD rigs have time to mine stable

i set a higher pow end timeout, for now it works. Zilswitcher is no option, i use Awesomeminer.

1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Is Now Mining (BTM), over 50% of hashrate, new undisclosed ASIC on: March 07, 2019, 12:54:28 PM
Bitmain Antminer B7, 96 KH/s ASIC, they currently sell it only on their Chinese website... after probably "testing" the new devices for a while in their farms.
Yeah, they are "testing" their hardwares to get as much profit as possible and when they mine enough for them, then announce that they are releasing these asic miners, already tested (in reality very used). It is their politics and everyone knows it well.
But OP, as I see, according to https://miningpoolstats.stream/bytom <-- F2pool has over 50% hashrate, not Bitmain. Currently Bitmain (antpool) shares 23.3 % of Bytom network hashrate.

You know that F2pool is a part from bitmain?

Thanks for the details. If you already have your tags defined in the system, you can use the Tags API (/api/tags) to get a mapping between tag name and tag ID.

When you know the tag ID you want to modify on a miner, you can do like this with the API for "Managed Miners". It works in a similar way for External Miners as well.

1) Get the properties for a specific Managed Miner:
  GET http://mypc:17790/api/managedminers/{id}
2) Modify the tagList property of the response body
3) Save the new properties for the Managed Miner, where you put the updated JSON data in request body:
  POST http://mypc:17790/api/managedminers/{id}

Thanks patrike,  i think i get it  Grin
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: March 06, 2019, 09:46:31 AM
an hour ago zilminer crashed on 5 rigs at the same time after pow start. it is definitely not internet or hardware issue. I guess pool sent something inappropriate for them.

btw what is normal for rejected shares? I have 30 submitted and only 20 accepted.

20 of 30 is normal, reb0rn21 wright it many times in this thread.

I think hardware error because of to high clocks, i wrote it some pages before, Claymore or Phönix Miner OC settings not always work with zilminer.
Add "pause" to zilminer cmd file and then say next time where the miner crashs.
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: March 05, 2019, 03:12:25 PM

  - TT-Miner 2.1.3
 Corrections
  - Correction to detection of AMD cards for GPU monitoring

NICE!!!

Patrike can i add or delete a specifie tag to a specifie miner via api? I use the api to stop and start the miners for zilliqa mining. It works very good without any errors, but i want to add a tag for the moment of zilliqa mining and want to delete it when the main miner starts.

If needed i can make a description for other guys for mining Zilliqa with Aweseomeminer.
Is this for the HTTP API? You can use this API to add and remove tags for a miner. See the section "Tags":
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085916-awesome-miner-http-api

Sorry i am new in API  Smiley
I use curl and this command line in a cmd file to start and stop the miner:

curl -i -d POST http://192.168.2.113:17790/api/miners/2?action=start

I saw the tags section in your FAQ, but i don´t understand how i set only a tag to one of my miners. As i understand your FAQ it will add the tag to every miner.

Ok i try a little bit.

With double click you open the miner properties. If you want do access the miner via browser with awesome miner, make a rule with manuel activation. Then you can access via the actions button.

1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: March 04, 2019, 08:09:13 AM
@RuMiner

--farm-recheck 15000 for 15 seconds

LOL, i answer your question and you ask again?

It not reduce your chance, it reduce only the lost time after your last get work from node.

At the moment i am in with 700mh and i find around 10 - 15 shares a day. Mining time Zilliqa 3,5% and ETH 96,5%. (Checked with Aweseomeminer Mining History Feature, so very accurate time span)

If someone need a description, to mining Zilliqa with Awesomeminer without any errors, then i can make one.

Awesome Miner can only read CPU temperatures when running as Administrator. The temperatures are however currently only displayed on the System tab, not in in the Miners list, so I agree that there are room for improvements here. The same goes for CPU Power Usage - it's currently only displayed on the System tab but not part of the miner list and not in the profit calculations.

I have checked it on a rig, on this rig is awesomeminer running as an admin and yes i see the cpu temperature in the system tab. Thanks this helps a little bit, but i hope you can improve this in the future.

Adding the Actions button to the context menu should be possible.

I think it would be very useful.

lolMiner 0.7 had some compatibility issues with Nicehash for some algorithms that used to work fine with 0.6. For that reason I didn't include it yet. It's a balance between including the latest/greatest and not introducing new issues to those running a previous version.

Ok i understand and i update it manually, nicehash is no option for me and so not so interesting for me but others will use it.

NBMiner 20.0 is already included since a week ago.

What? What kills claymore? I don´t understand this answer sorry.

Look in the miner window when it starts POW. You see it will hash for 2 - 3 minutes and then, nothing for 3 minutes, no getwork. So this 3 minutes are lost time, with the pow end command it will reduce the time after the last getwork.

Your hashing power is 132mh on pool side, so it is total that no share found after this short time. Zilminer has not the same hash power like claymore or phönixminer.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: March 03, 2019, 12:48:05 PM
After the last getwork it needs around 2 - 3 min to start the primary miner, this 30 seconds reduce this time. You say your mining time is around 93% and 7minutes every pow, so this is the answer to reduce the 7minutes.  Roll Eyes
An it is normal that you not find a share every POW. Sometimes i find only 1 share after 3 - 4 POW.
It is a new mining concept so give it a bit time.

What is your address? Is the miner hashing in POW? Some of my cards cannot mine with zilminer, because it cannot handle the OC settings, but on claymore or phönixminer it is stable for over 1 year.

Hi patrike,

any plans for reading CPU temp?

is it possible to add the actions button to the context menu, like the reboot and restart button.

Tweaking your start.bat with command --pow-end-timeout 30. I am at 96 - 96,5% mining time at main coin.

How much hashrate?

1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: March 01, 2019, 01:52:07 PM
You have
--pow-end-timeout 100

which start primary miner after 100sec timeout
also i think there are other commands for it but did not test

thanks this what i looking for.
