Oh for fucks sake, please don't turn this into a race issue.
Did you even read the OP?

Cosplaying is sort of like acting in a way but really casual, let me put it this way, if you had gotten used to whatever your watching or reading being a certain way with the characters and they suddenly change everything up for no reason wouldn't you be pissed off? Lets not even go on a race based one, Game of Thrones had a recast on Daario Naharis for what felt like a couple of scenes, replaced him with a completely different guy, both were good actors but it was so blatant it confused the fuck out of me. Simply because you're seeing two obviously different people play the same fucking guy, it would be different if they at least looked vaguely similar but no, long haired Daario Naharis with muscles and short haired Daario Naharis looking noticably thinner.

It's the same thing here, I agree it's dumb to get that wound up about it but equally you're a fucking moron if you decide to start a flame war by claiming it's about race and since I've been on the internet that long I can practically sense them coming.

I actually like anime a lot and watch it regularly, even want to get decent at drawing my own characters at some point but so far I've only been studying realistic proportions and blatantly managed to mix up the two which is why everything's been so bad lol. It's like with any communities though, you'll find some people that are absolutely fucking abysmal and you never want to see again just based on one conversation with them and there are those that are completely nice.

Yes, I created this thread purely to piss off CYAM, feel free to have a real debate about the subject without him deleting dissenting opinion here.

This happened with Ron Paul and CNN if you remember, they claimed he 'stormed' off, too bad they keep posting video evidence of what's going on lol.
1446  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Anime fans here? Anti western cosplayers movement on: April 10, 2015, 09:07:04 PM
LOL I wouldn't let it bother you that much, there's some pretty bad cosplay out there for sure but westerners have their own brand of costuming that they do very well.

IN THE EMPEROR'S NAME!!!!!!!!
1447  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Want to get into Med School? Turn Black! on: April 10, 2015, 07:45:08 PM
This is insane. Asians require a higher score than whites to get in?
You are actually discriminating against a minority.

Asian Americans might be smaller in population size, but they are doing much better in the US than any other ethnic group, including the Non-Hispanic Whites. The average median income of Asian Americans is much higher than that of the Non-Hispanic Whites.

That doesn't make it a good thing I hope you realise, it's also incredibly condascending to the people on the receiving end of the preferencial treatment because they're practically saying if you're a certain race you're too stupid to get in and need some help which is racist in itself.

By the way guys, this is what racism actually is, it's not about just saying a few words about a group of people, that's called racial stereotyping.
1448  Other / Off-topic / Re: So is anyone actually planning on 'buying' GTA V? on: April 10, 2015, 07:28:37 PM
No i will not buy but download it with torrents. there are already gta 5 torrents but without any crack. i will wait for crack. Grin

rockstar games always come with a anti torrent and they either crash frequuently or stutter

That's only at the beginning, after awhile they get very stable, wait two or so days after the release date before downloading, to play it safe wait for a week, pirates have been getting very good at cracking even the most rabid DRM, denuvo was a recent one and it was made by the same guys who made SecuROM. Even though it was tough, they managed to get through it after a week or so and it ran absolutely fine, it was pretty funny, because the media were boasting about how pirates hadn't cracked it yet, naturally, that smugness didn't last long Cheesy.

Some countries have capital controls.
You can't send more than __$ outside the country.
Let them try stopping bitcoins.  Tongue

Particularly as an Anarchist, I'm very interested in discovering what, if anything governments can do to prevent people from transferring Bitcoin overseas, it seems pretty foolproof so I want to know if they will come up with anything or just talk crap like they usually do about how we need to either ban or regulate cryptocurrencies.
1450  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-10] CCN - Paypal Merchants Can Now Accept Bitcoin on: April 10, 2015, 12:34:16 PM
Just thought I'd mention that today I saw on CNBC the exact report about Paypal splitting with Ebay and there was no mention of Bitcoin in it, so I suspect that this is overhyped bullshit as usual, until you see a deposite Bitcoin option on your paypal account don't post this stuff up.
1451  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Going across borders with....knowledge of a private key? on: April 10, 2015, 12:06:57 PM
As far as I'm aware they wouldn't be able to do anything in regards to Bitcoin, that said, if you walk up to them claiming you have $10,000 worth of Bitcoin you're probably asking for trouble, best just to go low key and declare anything you have that's physical. One thing I would point out there was acually a guy ages ago that tried crossing into America but they said he didn't have the amount required to stay there even though he had it in Bitcoins.

Because these people are largely dumbasses they likely won't be looking for Bitcoin at all, it's only if you're carrying precious metals etc. that you need to worry about this moment in time, but to be on the safe side, I would actually advise just for the duration of the trip either getting your own private VPS ( I'd consider this the safest option as you, for the most part have direct control ) or putting the coins on a secure online wallet while you travel. Then when you get to where you're going, get out your laptop and then transfer the coins, that may seem silly, but if you ever end up having your laptop or phone confiscated because of mentioning Bitcoin, you'll be glad you did it.

Is this actually fucking real or another form of click bait by Paypal to try and get people interested in them again? Please post more than one source for this kind of thing.
1454  Other / Off-topic / So is anyone actually planning on 'buying' GTA V? on: April 10, 2015, 08:33:48 AM
So it's 4 days until the release date for Grand Theft Auto V PC, does anyone here actually plan on buying it? I don't know about you, but I think Rockstar have been getting incredibly arrogant lately about their treatment of PC players lately, there have been companies that have a rabid view of internet filesharing to the point that they're going entirely on consoles and I really wish now that Rockstar would fuck off and do the same. I'm obviously quite biased in this but I've been incredibly annoyed ever since games companies have essentially begun a backhanded war against PC gamers using tools like DRM to try and force people into accepting that their shitty systems are the way of the future ( Don't get me started on the Steam OS that Valve are pushing guys ) they really don't like people who would otherwise be supporting them if it weren't for their draconian methods.

Now it seems that they're resorting to even more underhanded tactics like pushing the PC release dates back for games or shoving even more DRM onto these games to the point that it breaks the game for players who actually paid for the games. I think my money is always definitely better spent on indie titles than dealing with these crappy companies anymore even if their games happen to be well made, though most times they are not, just because they're so expensive and for the price of a game made by a publisher or big company you can get 4 or 5 indie titles depending what you want.

Oh good Tongue I spent some of my Bitcoins though just to be safe -_- Cheesy
1456  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Want to get into Med School? Turn Black! on: April 09, 2015, 12:11:37 PM
The evidence is right there, it's just some people like to stay in absolute denial about it, also in regards to Asians, I guess depending on which asians they actually come from comparitavely richer continents so they don't fit the racial stereotype of the poor discriminated black man that needs the help of a white Aristocracy.

...... Wow... Did I just have a Anarcho-communist style rant then?
1457  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Want to get into Med School? Turn Black! on: April 09, 2015, 10:50:01 AM
The story is funny. Different race has different treatment. The good news is that the status of black are improved a lot.

The med schools might not find it funny.
As long as he didn't explicitly say he was Afro-American, he should be okay. Otherwise, he could be in serious trouble.

He's pointing out their own blatant discrimination, the only thing he's guilty of is calling them out on their bullshit so of course they're not going to like it, established institutions like these never like anybody who makes them look bad. The best part is, the guy isn't even white, so that's screwing them over even more because they can't pull the old "You're racist" crap as easily, what's also interesting is the Telegraph have disabled the comments, most likely because it would be full of people going we told you so.
1458  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-06] Reuters: Bitcoin technology startup hires Morgan Stanley manager on: April 09, 2015, 12:05:31 AM
Is anyone else noticing a weird exodus of banking employees to Bitcoin companies lately? I wonder if they're seeing the wind change, these guys are pretty mercenary after all.
1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really coming to Bitcoin ? on: April 08, 2015, 10:37:46 PM
I think there will be certain countries like Germany that will regulate it extremely efficiently and then most of the other countries throughout the world will have no clue what to do with it, even with Andreas Antonopoulos explaining things to them their laws will be as vague as ever, adding to that, it will be interesting to see if any countries try to ban Bitcoin outright because I want to see whether they can stop it from being traded on the black market at all.

If that isn't enough to tell you these gun control advocates are full of shit, there was that incident in Norway with Breivik, where were the men with guns to save people then? In that situation I'd be happy for a just a 9mm so I can at least have a chance and I don't even touch gun really.

Imagine what would have happened if at least 1% of the 400+ people in the Utøya island at that time were armed with guns. No more than 3 or 4 people would have lost their lives. Definitely not 77.

In a place where everyone is armed, a single person won't be able to mow down 77 people. And in Utøya, not even the policemen were armed. The results are for everyone to see.

And then people for gun control will tell you but all the accidents people will have with guns would just get people killed, but that's what training is for in my opinion, yeah, this is why these psychopaths go after unarmed people and not military bases, it's not coincedental.

You can measure how much contempt a government has for it's people by how willing they are to rush to the defence of their citizens.
