Sounds like a decent idea.

But just FYI the watchlist can be great for this too? You automatically "watch" topics that you replied to. Then just "unwatch" topics that are not interesting anymore?

Since it's not yet mentioned here. Kraken ( https://kraken.com/ ) is a very good exchange for Europeans with SEPA transfers. Generally cheaper than BitStamp if you include the euro>dollar exchange rate. BitStamp works fine for me too though.

P2P trades are great but if you are not experienced with it, I think you should stick to official exchanges. Also moneypak is USA only and EU doesn't have that many "electric money" things as far as I know. So you probably end up doing a SEPA anyway (so better use safe/cheaper exchange.)

Also I have never used Steam. From what I read: these are not CD keys or something, right? These are sent as gift with that trading system and cannot ("really") be reversed, right? Thanks.

Not true at all. The advantage of doing an in game trade rather than getting redeemable CD keys is that if the purchase is found to be fraudulent then Steam will reverse the trade meaning your not worse off. Except in this case, since you traded with BTC rather than in game items Steam will just remove them from your account and possibly ban it if it thinks you are an alt account. In effect, it offers you no different protection at all.
Thank you for correcting.

That was the first thing I found, but was indeed wrong. I searched after that post and figured that the game will be removed and account will be blocked if the payment of the trade/gift is reversed. (I don't care about my account though as I don't have other games.)

So when I saw that, I decided to only trade if somehow he had more trust that a bitcointalk newbie. And I figured (based on his steam profile/comments and googleing on his username) that he did do at least hundreds of trades, going back from 2012. So in the end I traded because of that, even though like you said, there is definitely still a risk.

Thanks for making it clear for others. Personally I still took the gamble for 50% off Cheesy but others will have to decide for them own Smiley it is indeed not without risk.

Just bought Tropico 5. His steam profile/comments looked decent so I sent first. Went all good.

Nice Smiley

Could you sell Tropico 5? And if yes, for what price? TY

1473  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinSports.com-NEW! Sportsbook, Casino-INSTANT DEPOSITS & WITHDRAWALS-LTC! on: June 01, 2014, 02:19:41 AM
A tab (next to Sports, Live, etc) would be great. IMO could list like last 20 wagers including pending or something like that. I am just pretty sure people like to see their current wagers and also after the match check how much they won etc. So that should be a prominent part of the site (not hidden away through 4 clicks.)
1474  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinSports.com-NEW! Sportsbook, Casino-INSTANT DEPOSITS & WITHDRAWALS-LTC! on: May 31, 2014, 06:40:46 AM
Looks and works good, ty for the free chips to try it out. I am just wondering where I can see "current / pending / finished bets/wagers"

edit: ah it's possible like this: My account > Activity > select Sportsbook > Search. Would be great to just have it on 1 page though Smiley

I just late reg. the 200 GTD R/A and I cannot rebuy?

That is pretty ridiculous, late reg. time should be just as long as the rebuy time. Now there are other players who have double stack over me so I basically feel like I just threw away the buy-in.

edit: wow even after addon, there is still late reg. That's really strange IMO Tongue
edit2: I still ended up second so that's not too bad, but still rebuy / late reg should be same period, both ending with addon, IMO.
1476  Local / Beurzen / Re: Op zoek. Weet iemand dit? on: May 30, 2014, 02:21:04 PM
Ahh oke, ben benieuwd. Idee van een Nederlandse Bitcoin exchange is natuurlijk niet verkeerd Smiley (lekker gemakkelijk met iDeal enzo  Grin Grin)
1477  Local / Beurzen / Re: Op zoek. Weet iemand dit? on: May 30, 2014, 01:36:08 PM

1478  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - WIN 20 BTC FIFA PROMO on: May 30, 2014, 03:41:43 AM
I'm new to sportsbetting, just warming up for WC and enjoying so far. Anyway, I like your site, but had some feedback:

Could there be an "All games" link (for example for soccer which has a lot of running competitions.) Probably needs to have pagination then and search could be for all games which would be great. Now if I got some picks of a friend it takes more time to find the right games.

Besides that I think everything works great so far.
1479  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: Withdrawal problems - DO NOT DEPOSITS - dying HYIP on: May 29, 2014, 03:54:18 PM
I have a couple friends actively looking for this fellow now.... not gonna be pretty. Better hope your info is not visible anywhere.

large transactions in the paper trail recently..

http://blockchain.info/address/16R14EH4v8A9GPXkAAP8gcMFBA8oxA8nbY

btc is not as anonymous as one would like to think, each day we break down those barriers.. and we are coming for you now.

BRING BACK THE SITE AND RETURN THE FUNDS OR PAY THE CONSEQUENCES.

You have been warned.

UPDATE : there are more than one person(s) being investigated now...

322k btc address is associated with btc-arbs?  Shocked

I can't even wrap my mind around them possibly running off with that much or even remotely close to that!

I never understand why people look at "Total Received" Tongue You should look at total received: https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=16R14EH4v8A9GPXkAAP8gcMFBA8oxA8nbY so 7.8K MAX at any point at the same time.

Also I am looking forward for anyone giving serious analysis, no offense but clicking though some addresses and end up somewhere doesn't say much IMO.

With 10 seconds of Googling it's associated with multiple scams etc, so seems to me a mixer? Obviously I am just guessing now too.
1480  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: Withdrawal problems - DO NOT DEPOSITS - dying HYIP on: May 29, 2014, 02:03:00 PM
Sure the typical marketing tactics are cringeworthy but about 1/3 of the way down the page there is a video called "$320 in 3 minutes" which shows the system in action. Looks pretty interesting!
Obvious referral link to some bullshit classic "get rich now, buy our videos/guide BS scheme". Not appreciated.
