1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Improve Your Sports Betting Skills and Win More Bets? on: June 14, 2023, 05:43:05 PM
1. The most important step is to Research and analyzes before placing your bets:
And this will require patience. Many bettors don't think of how they can tolerate being researchful and make use of what they've researched for.

It is imperative that you gather relevant information about teams, players, statistics, and recent performances. This information would enable you to make more informed decisions.
I agree, and that's why when you're patient and you understand that it is important to gather data on the sports, players, and teams that you're about to bet. You'll see how being patient will help you by doing these things. Using of news as well if there will be handicaps or some news that occurred to specific teams and players, they're all helpful before placing bets.
1522  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 14, 2023, 04:32:14 PM
There's a standard when a person or a community can be said of being poor and is living in the poverty line. Those that you've mentioned OP aren't really poor people because they've got their resources but if it's going to be the standard of life related to finances and money, we know what's the answer. Those that are living in rural areas might don't have much money but they've got enough resources for themselves and they've cultivated their lands and turned farmlands into productive agricultural sources.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 14, 2023, 03:16:56 PM
Is she aware of how to keep bitcoins and has basic knowledge about wallets and stuff? It's actually a good wedding gift and she'll surely be happy to receive it if she knows that bitcoins have value. I think that even she's not aware of bitcoin but later on you'll tell her that it's got a value and she can convert it to fiat, I think that she'll be able to learn it eventually and will be more than happy to accept more of it from you.

But anyway, I dropped everyone who had commented on the last couple pages of this thread some merits, I can't do it all the time but I did it as a late Independence Day present, hehe.
Kuya maraming salamat po.  Smiley
I was shocked when I logged in, I truly appreciate it, and again thank you so much po Kuya.
1525  Local / Pilipinas / Re: T-Shirt Business For Bitcoin Adoption Profitable Ba on: June 14, 2023, 01:02:47 PM
1526  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Individual temperaments and outcome on: June 13, 2023, 11:43:39 PM
This is what makes human behavior beautiful because everyone is unique and has their own character. I'll never be the melancholic type of person because I know myself better. And with the characteristics that you've mentioned, I've got a few from it but a few of it as well doesn't belong to me. You'll start with your family and you'll see on how oriented some of them into what has described for the type of temperament that they've got and also with your friends and that's why when we know things that they don't, we would adjust. But some wouldn't mind adjusting after knowing the people they're dealing with.

1528  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 13, 2023, 10:56:09 PM
I'll buy the property and have it rented while I am also renting. But I'll make sure that the rent of my own property is going to be enough to cover the mortgage and my rent as well.
I'll have a cash flow and that's going to help me understand why renting is just temporary and I'll still want to own my property in the near future. It may take time and it's not easy but the important thing is I'll own it someday when I am done paying the property. But the best scenario is that when you're able and you've got enough savings and cash, I'll pay the property cash so that I won't think of anything everyday for how many years and I can sleep tight and very well in the evening.
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 13, 2023, 10:35:26 PM
I'd prefer you keep your job and treat Bitcoin as your long-term investment by HODLing. It's way better than just sticking to one source of income with the unpredictability behavior.
This is true. It's better to have a stable job while having investments that you're keeping for the long term. You'll have no problem with having a stable source of income if ever the market crashes. You can buy with the salary that you have as you still have a source and you can't rely on the market that has crashed temporarily. That's why you'll see memes on how they've left their jobs during the bull run and then taken a new job when the bear market has came.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 13, 2023, 11:52:20 AM
Nuggets ended the finals and Jokic won the NBA finals. What a journey for a piece of history in the making that has been made by this big guy who likes chicken nuggets that eventually became the face of the Nuggets franchise. LOL.
Those who have bet for the game 5 to end with Nuggets are surely enjoying but I've got a lot of friends dismay on this ending because many of them thought that Miami got this, still props to them.

What a journey for the best big man of this season and there's no doubt he truly deserves it also his teammates help him a lot to achieve this great goal of their life as NBA players. Thankfully the Finals MVP is no other than Jokic. After he constantly brings his team to playoffs it finally pays off well and also this time his best buddy is playing Jamal Murray. They played well and deserves this championship without recruiting some star players nor did they go to the championship teams that won multiple championships in the past. they trust each other and eventually earn their best reward ever.
Joker made it look easy to overcome the Lakers in the playoffs and then for this finals. No debate that they really are the best team currently and let's see if they'll be a back-to-back champion for the next season. They're not the most desired team to win this year's title but I am also sure that many will start to follow their journey for next season. It's all great and hard work for the tandem of Murray and Jokic and despite that they're not crowded with star players, they themselves are making starplayers together with their teammates contributions.

Things are escalating quickly and with these overwhelming activities and suits filed by Gensler, there goes this one congressman that eyes to fire Gensler.

1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 13, 2023, 08:35:52 AM
Those who have bet for the game 5 to end with Nuggets are surely enjoying but I've got a lot of friends dismay on this ending because many of them thought that Miami got this, still props to them.

Miami Heat were by all margin the underdogs coming into this series, but the players I felt really sorry from the team would be Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry... Jimmy Butler trying to redeem himself late into to the game but still made and unforced turnover, that led to KCP steal to blow the margin into a 3 point game, when just proper awareness of his teams mates location would have made him noticed Bam Adebayo already free behind both Jokic and Jamal for what could have been an easy basket/shooting foul. And more so for a player with a series way below his usual standards, I can't fathom out his reason for taken such a terrible 3 point shot decision with over 14 secs left of the final 24 being down by 3, where there are other better 3 pointers that could have easily gotten a better look or a better shot at least, even if the basket was made, the Nuggets would still have 14 seconds to work with while having a timeout, that more than enough time to still get the win, I guess Jimmy Butler must have watched Jordan Poole a lot in the the playoffs this season and learnt quite some things from him  Angry

Finally, for Kyle Lowry he's arguably the best PG the Heat had all through this series even at age 37, and being on minute restriction the Miami Heat were always a better side with on the court and Butler off, than otherwise.
That last shot of Jimmy was I think said and instructed by Spo since there's really little time left and no matter what happens, they'll lose. I think that it's much better if they just let it be shot by Lowry, Duncan, or Struss. We can't deny that it's probably like a clutch game of his life so with that time remaining left, that's the game plan but didn't do well.

Nuggets ended the finals and Jokic won the NBA finals. What a journey for a piece of history in the making that has been made by this big guy who likes chicken nuggets that eventually became the face of the Nuggets franchise. LOL.

I thought that the Heat can get this one as the game is really close in the first 2 quarters and I said that a low scoring game will benefit the Heat in the end. Unfortunately, the Nuggets can't be deny in their first championship.

I know, others might think of dynasty, but we will see if they can continue their magical run and for sure the team will be intact next year. So I guess we fans of NBA will have to wait for the next season. For sure there will be a lot of trades and changes again, not just for players, but coaches as well.
It was a slow game and I thought as well that they'll be able to manage to put it on 6 but it didn't work. It's visible that Bam can't get in against Jokic's defense.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 13, 2023, 07:33:02 AM
Bitcoin has brought wonderful opportunity to the world today and most certainly for those who have been using it as a means of investment but that doesn't still makes it a career.
That's true, it's made a lot of people's live good and well because of satoshi's creation. Without such, there will be no new industry like the blockchain, the altcoins market, the exchanges and other industries and companies that's focused with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin is a financial market, there is nothing wrong with saying it has helped many people who have bought bitcoins since the early days and become millionaires. But there are also many people who lose money when investing in it incorrectly, it's not bitcoin's fault because that's how financial markets work.
Bitcoin is like any other investment, if we know how to use it, we will make money, but if we are greedy and have no knowledge, we will lose because of it. It doesn't make everyone rich.
In each market, it's known that there will be losers and those that have been winning their trades. This is the sad reality of this market so if you're too emotional, this market isn't for you. Yes, if there's a winner, there will also be the losers but for you to become a winner, the best thing to do is to study the market so that you won't be eaten by the whales and you'll move alongside with them. You will learn how to do that when you've been losing a lot and you're learning the lessons from being on this market.

I do come across some threads created by female forum users and some, and when going round the forum, some usernames looks like a female name which signifies that female genders are not exempted in Bitcoin
There are threads that's really made relative to the topic about women and bitcoin just like these;

(Bitcoin is the best career for women)
(Do women engage in crypto trading)

1536  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 6 Crypto Friendly banks sa Pinas on: June 13, 2023, 02:25:53 AM
I was checking UNO Digital Bank at mukhang marami pa sila kailangan ayusin.
1537  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 13, 2023, 01:56:48 AM
Every day its a new problem.

So I mostly switched to Gcash, but now Gcash is having issues with their crypto transactions ("Oops this token isn't tradeable at the moment." for all cryptos), so I deposited BNB at Coins, and now when I try to sell I get a "Quote failed. Please refresh and try again." error, over and over, then a "too many tries" error. Not even gonna bother reporting it to their customer service, am too tired with their problems.

Then I noticed that PayMaya had enabled crypto deposits finally, including for Dogecoin, so that's nice. Meanwhile most of the market tanked overnight but whatever, at least there's PayMaya, better than nothing, lol.
I also switched on Gcash(Gcrypto) for doing most of my transactions and I didn't know that Maya is now allowing deposits. This is good if they do and we've got easy access to these apps and we've got various choices on how we'll exchange our cryptos.
Looks like Coins.ph has got a lot of competitors already and they're not just competitors but big wallet apps in our country. I do hope that they're aware of the competition and the other apps are better now than them.
1538  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of border opening to a country on: June 12, 2023, 10:51:04 PM
Border opening can either be harmful or be helpful to a country, it works vice versa. It can be harmful in the sense that bad goods and services can be brought in,weapons can be smuggled in, illegal migration of non citizens can have quick access to a country when the border officials are corrupt.
The bad side is they'll never know the immigrants/refugees if they've got bad intentions or bad habits so it will eventually out when they are already there. Like this news in France, an immigrant attacked children.

It can also be helpful due to the price of goods and services because there will be competition in the market place there by making goods cheaper, it also strengthen international relationship.
Yeah, that's the good side of it. There will be more people working and there will be more taxation for them as it will contribute to the economy of the country where they'll go. Thus, it should be weighed properly if a country really needs them or not. Most citizens don't want to see immigrants in their country and that's one reality.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 12, 2023, 10:22:28 PM
Last time I checked bitcoin was actually a cryptocurrency and certainly not a career and not in what way so ever gender related.
It is still, people do just generalize that Bitcoin is like entirely an industry for which it is generating jobs and that's why whether it's male or female, they're associating it with gender related issues as if it's not making a bias of it which is true.

Bitcoin has brought wonderful opportunity to the world today and most certainly for those who have been using it as a means of investment but that doesn't still makes it a career.

1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: June 12, 2023, 09:51:24 PM
It is really an inevitable waste of money indeed, but their nothing me or anybody that didn't have an inherited or personal house can do about this situation unless you are planning to make yours a reality, rent has become one of the major thing that takes more more from people today
You think it's a waste if you're not benefiting from it. There are working people that go from place to place and there's no other option but to rent.
That's the only way for them to save time from going to work so they rent places that are close to their offices and it's no waste of money because they save time. So either choose, spend more time traveling going to work but the expenses are the same when you commute.
Or do rent and use that budget for commuting for it. Circumstances do permit us and that's why it's essential for us to look at the sides where we'll mostly going to be beneficial upon renting. Not everyone is in good condition to have a house that's inherited from their parents. We're not all born with a silver spoon.
