1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 02, 2020, 08:20:32 AM
I learned the Bitcoin when I was 18 years old and so far, because of bitcoin and this forum I learned many things about the blockchain technologies and even the things about cryptocurrency. The good things that bitcoin brings to me are knowledge and profit. Until now, I keep on learning more new things about bitcoin and I'm currently earning some bitcoin through a signature campaign. Then, I learned how I can separate my money in the good things especially in the investments and it totally helps me in my finances because now I can manage to earn extra money even when I'm at home. I still keep on moving forward until I succeed in my goal in cryptocurrency and until I've become a good trader and I know this forum will help me to reach my goal.

It has forced me to become a trader which I'm not really like that from the start. It did happen in a surprise but it's okay because it's something that I wanted to be before and though, I'm not really an expert, at least, I've learned something.
And while reading the TAs from the experts in this community, it encourages me to even HODL and trade.

Actually, trading is one of the things that I really want to learn since I found out that it can help you to earn a good profit. I'm so jealous of the people who are great at doing TAs. Same with you, I'm still a newbie in this field but this is the track that I really want and besides, being a good trader might sustain my daily needs. By just seeking on Trading Section I already learn some knowledge about trading and I'm glad that many members here are experts on doing TAs that's why I inspire to study more.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 01, 2020, 04:59:13 PM
You are definitely right OP, we should only focus on the coin  that has a good name or even have good value or volume on the market. The top-performing cryptocurrencies is always the best option if you're going to invest your funds and it is the safest way to have secure profit. Then, even if it is always being advised by other member here, you should make sure that you have already conducted your own research about the certain coin so you can determined if the investment is worth it to invest. As of now, the current state of market is now recovering that's why it's the best time to buy more altcoin. Besides, I highly recommend to buy BNB, XRP, ETH and LTC.
1584  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Newbie to Full Member ranks] Merit Spree for the future of Phil Local Members on: February 01, 2020, 03:35:33 PM
I've started here last October 2018 and I didn't noticed time flies so fast... Starting as a newbie isn't easy. You have to observe everyone just to understand what they are doing. Although I have someone who guided me when I'm just starting here in the forum but there's too much information that I need to learn in order to keep up with everyone.

Starting as a newbie feels like you were nothing compared to higher ranks. So it serves as my inspiration to earn merits, but I didn't know how to earn one. Is there any basis or criteria for me to receive a merit? I started posting with my basic knowledge, trying to gain merits but it wasn't easy at all. Opportunity came when theymos started an art contest for the 10th anniversary which gave me hope. I submitted different entries trying to earn merits and fortunately, there are some people who appreciated my efforts.

When you started gaining merits continuously, it makes you want to earn more. So I stepped out of my comfort zone, I tried creating my own topic here in the local board, and gladly I received a lot of merits. Now, I'm still trying to improve myself by creating more topics and even stepping a broader board like bitcoin and altcoin discussion and more.

What I have learned from the past year is;
1. if you really want something, go make efforts in achieving it.
2. don't be contented inside your comfort zone if you want to achieve your goal. And that's what I'm trying to do until now. Creating topics just to give informative content and updates to everyone.
3. Lastly, is to continuously grow by improving yourself. Study more about cryptocurrency and blockchain because you can't share anything if you don't have any knowledge about it. And also improving myself by giving quality posts because that's one of the major factors that they are looking in giving merits.

Kindness is our own personal attitude and I'm not sure if I should include it, but being kind, humble, and friendly towards other users will also help you, not just by earning merits but also gaining friends.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: February 01, 2020, 02:03:14 PM
everyone has their own views in determining the valuable altcoin that they invest especially in altcoin top, but if I personally still choose ethereum, BNB and tron
We have the same choices of altcoin which I will go with Ethereum and Binance coin. When we enter in this field we already have our top choice where we will invest the money. But, even we have different choices of altcoins we should always consider on sticking top-performing altcoins. I'm totally sure that all top altcoin on the coinmarketcap will be the valuable altcoins in the future. But, if I'm going to choose the most valuable altcoin I will go with Ethereum, Ripple, Binance coin and Litecoin (which I still undecided if I'm going to invest).

I think Ethereum has the biggest chance of a very high price increase. During the bear market, the Ethereum price fell much more than the Bitcoin price, which is why I think this year will be the opposite and the Ethereum price will rise more than the Bitcoin price.
Even the Ethereum have more chances to pump, I guess it will never surpass bitcoin. If ever we going to have another new bull market seems bitcoin will still on the rank 1 of top rising price.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 01, 2020, 12:44:28 PM
I often play twice a week or even I get bored. But, I always limit myself whenever I play because I know that at the end of the day I will lose more money rather than earning profit. In fact, I do want to experience the things that happen to my uncle which he loses everything even his house that pledges in the bank. Whenever I play gambling I always allocate the money that I have to use and I only spend 0.001 bitcoin on the whole day and once I get profit or it turns to losses I will instantly stop playing. We should always limit ourselves to playing gambling if we don't want to suffer big losses.

Only a couple of times, with smaller amounts. I'm not that up to high stakes, but only join to spend extra time and just for luck. Gambling at high stakes is one sign of addiction that I'm avoiding to get into. Just like any addiction, it is one dangerous game to play with, that disrupts your system and thinking.

Playing with a smaller amount might be the best option if you are not a gambler and you just want to play because you are bored and you just want to use your free time. If you think that you lucky try to play with a small amount of money and if ever it turns to a lot of money keep on playing but you should stop once you think that your luck runs out or just stop instantly and withdraw all your winning.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: February 01, 2020, 10:21:50 AM
Upon seeing the altcoins in the poll I notice that why there's no Binance Coin(BNB) and Litecoin even they belong to the top-performing altcoins in the market. In the poll, I choose the Ethereum which now has a big development and it seems the price is also slowly increasing like bitcoin. Among all cryptocurrencies that you have mentioned in the poll, I only have Ethereum and it is also my reason why I choose it. Aside from that IMO, why you did not include the Litecoin, Binance, and Ripple. Then, maybe you should consider this altcoin because these cryptocurrencies have most of the predictions on the market.

For me the most valuable viola will definitely be Ethereum, but I would also like to mention Litecoin, who I've been very happy with lately.

Ethereum and Litecoin are two of the most trusted altcoins. I will always be having both of them in my portfolio.

I'm gonna HODL ETH until it reaches $1,400 once again and LTC until it reaches $500. Or even beyond.

It seems you now have a good portfolio and considering the Ethereum and Litecoin in your investment might the best way to earn profit for this year. But so far, I still think if I going to buy Litecoin because in my portfolio I already have Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Binance coins that's why I'm still undergoing on the decision if I going to add the Litecoin in my portfolio. But, do not forget to do your own research (DYOR) about the coins that you going to invest and always separate your funds in different altcoins.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus and The Effect on The Markets on: February 01, 2020, 09:15:38 AM
I don't know where to find connection between nCoV and the market situation. It's a big crisis in China and even now that other countries are being affected by this virus, especially those country in Asia. But does it really have an effect with the market price? Maybe it can affect, but wouldn't give a major impact.

I don't think they will prioritize money nor having digital transactions in buying their necessities because most people in Wuhan are panic buying their own needs. And I think, the Chinese government are helping them as well.

With this kind of situation, money isn't that important anymore. Well you need money for your foods but having too much or saving money isn't important because it's their health they have to prioritize.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change mainstream media's perception on "Bitcoin being used by thieves" on: February 01, 2020, 07:49:31 AM
I keep seeing the news that "Bitcoin is used for drugs", "Bitcoin is primarily used by thieves" pretty much every other day. The well informed people know that it isnt true but the mainstream media's perception stays the same. How do we change it and can we?
Basically that's what the media can do. They can manipulate people's mindset by giving one-sided news and update to show that most cryptocurrency related issues are all about illegal activities, and we know that media can be controlled by the government themselves. If they really want to give bad image to bitcoin, they can easily do that using mass media.

Although part of it was true and we can't deny that. Decentralized cryptocurrency such as bitcoin is common for illegal transactions just to avoid leaving traces. That's the negative side of bitcoin that we cannot erase. And I think that's also normal. Illegal transactions are also happening with the use of fiat.

The thing to change their perception towards bitcoin, is to give them awareness and knowledge that bitcoin isn't just about illegal things. We can also do that by using media, although there's a lack of support, media isn't just limited to tv or what, we can use our social media to educate and correct their wrong perceptions. We can do various ways to change their minds only if we're eager to do it.
1590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading app? on: January 31, 2020, 02:56:39 PM
May I know your trading apps guys, so that I can choose a better one trading or best trading app?

So far, I can only advise to you is the Binance Trading App you can download in your android or IOS devices. I don't really use any trading app because I prefer to use my computer whenever I conduct some trading activity. Then for me, it's more convenient to use a computer than a cellphone. Most of the replies here always suggest the Binance trading app because they already tested it. You should also try to download the "Blockfolio" it is also a cryptocurrency app where you can easily monitor and check the price of different cryptocurrencies. Aside from that, you can also put the token that you have and even the amount of it.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That's my 2020 portfolio, what are you opinions? on: January 31, 2020, 11:49:59 AM
Based on what I see on your portfolio I guess you already have a pretty good investment. Then, I notice that you need two more cryptocurrency and many members here keep on telling that you need to invest your money in binance coin(BNB) which is I also agree because aside from bitcoin, ethereum, and ripple the BNB is the advisable coin where you can invest your money. I highly suggest to buy now and you should pick the BNB then, do not worry because once the bitcoin start to pump the other cryptocurrencies that you have will pump too.
1592  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Important Point of Earning Merit on: January 31, 2020, 10:50:18 AM
I guess op knows how to earn merit, and he/she can apply it to himself.

Earning a merit is indeed a combination of effort and quality. Just like what you have listed, all of it needs effort in order to be done properly. Effort in terms of giving your time and sharing your knowledge just to make a useful and quality content for the users and the forum itself.

Next is quality. The effort you exerted would be meaningless if there's no quality in it. It should be helpful and useful to everyone.

Lastly, we should also not forget about our attitude towards the people we encounter here in the forum. It's better to be nice and to be humble. Let's not boast too much even if we've achieved a lot. Instead use it to inspire newbies.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 31, 2020, 06:03:00 AM
I already heard some celebrities that have bitcoin and some of them also promote new project. In our country, there are some famous people who involve in cryptocurrency and have you heard that Manny Pacquaio is now have it's own crytocurrency. The good thing about the celebrity that promote bitcoin is they can able to attract people that will invest but sometimes, it can also a cause problems because some of the people may use this in some illegal activity. If there will more celebrity that will promote cryptocurrency maybe we can see the increasing of massive adoption and it is a good way to spread the word of cryptocurrencies.
1594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have upgraded to Hero Member Rank | Thank You All | on: January 31, 2020, 05:15:29 AM
That's great for you! You've already reached the Hero Member. As what you have said, you've gain merits from the art contests, I've also joined the contest started by theymos which really helped me to earn merits too. I just recently achieved full member so I know how great that contest is, as an opportunity to earn merits but unlike you, I am not good enough when it comes to art so I didn't earn that much merit. That's why I'm now focusing on creating quality contents. Aside from that, you earned your merits by making effort post which is good.

Now that you have achieved another rank, I hope to see you more with great and quality posts. Go aim for legendary rank !!! By the way, congrats on your achievement!

Source:
https://bitpinas.com/news/ph-sec-scam-alert-bitthroughcash-bit2cash-trading-inc/

Hinihikayat nito ang publiko na mag invest sa kanila dahil mayroon daw itong promising return once na mag invest ka, at kung saan may dalawa option sila na inooffer:

1. Invest, wait and earn option
  - mag invest at pwedeng magkaroon ng 50% weekly income depende sa laki ng investment. (Minimum P1,000 to maximum P500,000)

2. Refer, reward option
-May 10% direct referral bonus sa pag refer sa ibang investors.

For more information about the advisory:
http://www.sec.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/2020Advisory_Bitthrough.pdf

Too good to be true, ika nga. Kaya dapat talaga hindi tayo agad nahuhulog sa ganitong style, lalo na ang mga newbies kasi hindi naman natin mapipigilan ang iba na gumawa ng masama kaya dapat aware tayo para alam natin pano iwasan.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: January 30, 2020, 05:50:36 AM
Investing in multiple altcoins wont give you much bigger profit cause you will divide you investment ,putting a little amount on each so expect little returns,  i think just 3 altcoins is enough to get high returns but you must pick the best.
Multiple altcoins seems is also good strategy to earn good profit but you should only stick with the top-performing cryptocurrencies. For me, the only problem with that is you will have a hard time to monitoring it and it's even hard to maintain the money that you have invested. If ever you can handle, it is totally give you a big return. In addition, for me it's also good to have 3 - 5 altcoins in your wallet and right now I currently have 4 cryptocurrency. Then, most of my cryptocurrency are in bitcoin. Investing in multiple altcoins is still good as long you can handle it and as long you only focused in top-performing cryptocurrencies
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 29, 2020, 05:52:43 PM

John McAfee, who once anticipated that bitcoin would reach $1 million before the current year's over, has been bashing the main digital money. As per McAfee, bitcoin is a shitcoin.
Based on the progression of his tweets, John bashed bitcoin as he tweeted " “Bitcoin – Old, clunky, no security, no smart contracts, no Dapps – is the true shitcoin.” Although John compliments altcoin and said that we all realize that the fate of crypto rests with the altcoins.

It looks like McAfee contradicts his own statements which prove that he can't even stand for his own words and that makes him a liar. He keeps on insisting that his prediction is going to happen and he even claimed that he's going to eat his own dick on national television if bitcoin won't hit 1 million USD by the end of the year 2020.

John McAfee's prediction isn't deserving of trust since it's clear that he can't even fulfill his promise. It just makes me wonder why he concludes that bitcoin is a shitcoin in spite of it being beneficial and profitable for the past few years. It has given us opportunities to improve our lives that's why it is unreasonably difficult for me to analyze his statements. I mean it's a top one cryptocurrency, it had gain so much trust and reputation. It even overcomes various challenges and problems then now bitcoin is now accepted and adopted by different countries, it was also supported by some government. In the current status of the market, bitcoin is slowly increasing and it might even end up on another bull run. Personally, I think bitcoin isn't a shitcoin, it's one of the most valuable assets that we can have.

1599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 3 USD a day? Tips wanted. on: January 29, 2020, 02:51:44 PM
If effortlessly one has to earn then they can go to airdrop page and they will list airdrops and giveaways. That can be considered as option.

List of few airdrop platforms
  • Airdrop King
  • Coinairdrops
  • Airdrop Alert
  • Airdropster

Or can just use referral programs. If one has contacts in that domain.
Even it is another option for you to earn, I still doubt that you can make any profit from it because I have several experiences with it and those token that I get is all zero value on the market. I agree with other members that have commented here because you can't really earn money for free and it is not easy to earn 3 USD per day unless you have good skills. I guess OP tries to join in some bounty campaign and you can still have a chance there to hit good profit like earning a hundred or thousand dollars.
