781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetBit Casino Gone? on: July 16, 2020, 10:01:46 AM
We will never know when will a gambling platform shut down, that is why leaving your funds there is a big "no", same goes with trading platform. Some casinos provide notice or make an announcement if the site will be down or will permanently be shutdown. But, since there was no notice it seems they will be making their exit scam.

Sad to say, if that is the case there is no way for you to get your funds from their platform.

I don't really know that gambling site and it's a sad reality about some gambling sites. That's why we should really be cautious about choosing gambling sites to play. And even if it's a trusted or well-known gambling site, we should not put all of your trust and leave your funds.

OP might not be able to get back the money he lost, but I hope it will serve as a lesson for him. Exit scams are rampant here, and that he should be careful next time. Because no one is obligated once you lost your money since you are responsible for your own funds.
782  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BABALA: Twitter Hacked Incident! Don`t Click on: July 16, 2020, 08:54:47 AM
Hot topic at pinag-uusapan ito ngayon dahil mga kilalang tao or exchange ang nahack and nag tweet ng scam giveaway. Wala naman siguro satin dito ang nabiktima nito dahil may alam naman tayo kung legit ito or not and may posibilidad kaya na may mga nahulog don sa sinasabing giveaway dahil alam naman natin na yung mga account na hack ay mga kilalang tao or exchange? Kaya ngayon mag doble ingat tayo and wag basta-basta magcliclick ng mga spam message na may kasamang link baka dahil don mahack ang ating mga account and wag din maniniwala sa mga ganitong klaseng giveaway.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Opinion Needed] What do you want to see in a gambling site review? || 2 on: July 15, 2020, 04:07:20 PM
Since they have already stated what they look in a gambling review site, even in your first thread. I've also said my opinion there so I don't think I still have something to add since most of the gamblers are just looking for the same thing when reading reviews and it was already mentioned.

But if op is planning to include everything listed and mentioned,  I hope it won't be that too long of a review. For me, it will be tiring to read such a long review. Just an honest review including its pros and cons. And then it will already depend on the gamblers whether he will gamble on that site or not.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vindax Scam on: July 15, 2020, 02:45:08 PM
there is too much bad news about this exchange and I also never use vindax ... I also hope that exchanges like this will die soon so traders don't lose their money
Many traders also know about the cases that occur in this exchange, so they prefer to stay away from Vindax and trade elsewhere, because there are still many exchanges that are better and more suitable for use by all traders.
If you are going to the scam accusation section, you can find some thread that tackles Vindax exchange. So far, I haven't used nor visited this site, and I'd rather spend my trading activities in the exchange that I know where my funds are secured and safe. We can't stop people from creating scam or fake exchanges. I guess every day we can see new exchanges that are emerging from nowhere that's why before we use an exchange, make sure it has good background and reputation or check some reviews about the exchange that you're going to use. If you are looking for a better exchange, use the well-known cryptocurrency exchange like Binance exchange that you can consider as one of the top-performing exchange right now.

It's always risky to use the new exchange because sometimes they have a fake volume to attract new users that will use their platform so stay away with those kinds of exchanges.
785  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Erroneous view -correcting newbies- on: July 15, 2020, 01:14:44 PM
It depends on the newbies. If some newbies keep that kind of mindset, I don't think they are even serious in learning and I doubt that they would even last here in the forum. A lot of users here started from being a newbie just like them, but they were able to rank up and stay longer here in the forum because they were eager to learn.

I also don't get why some newbies think something like it's impossible for them to earn merits when in fact, a lot of users are generous in giving merits. You just need to be deserving by giving a quality post.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 15, 2020, 08:10:42 AM
I want to share this article:

https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/casinos-gaming/las-vegas-strip-to-come-back-with-differences-analysts-say-2009472/

Seems experts vary on their opinions as with regards to Las Vegas opening. And I'm not familiar that there are Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 as far as business in Vegas. So casinos are tag as Phase 1 that's why they are the first to re-open. And maybe it will be under observation until the next Phase are implemented like strips and restaurants.
If they are planning to reopen casinos, they surely need a concrete plan on how to implement those protocols for the safety of workers and gamblers. I think casinos are part of those businesses who will reopen first because casinos are popular and it's one of the major businesses in Las Vegas.

I checked the link you gave, and there's a short interview regarding people's opinions about mandating facemask. I don't really get why some don't want to wear face masks when it's for everyone's safety. There's always a lot of people in Las Vegas and it makes it more dangerous, yet some of them don't want wearing a facemask.

It's going to be a slow and long process before we can see all businesses in Vegas being open in public But obviously, casino will be the first one as it will generate the needed money to keep Las Vegas economy up again. I also don't understand why there are people who are against wearing mask. Perhaps they think that it won't improve their chance of getting infected. But at least you have this sort of first line of defence against a spread.
Casinos and gambling industry are indeed important to Las Vegas since it provides huge tax revenue that is essential in their economy. However, if people would still refuse to follow simple protocols such as wearing face masks, I don't think they can last for a long time operating casinos while people still don't wear masks at public places.

Before they plan on reopening casinos, they should encourage their people as well as foreigners to wear face masks for safety.

For a gambler's mindset, why should they undergo a swab test just for the purpose to enter the casino? If I'm a gambler I'd rather find other casinos with no restrictions like that unless I'm a die-hard player of the said casino. It's no different from other establishments wherein there is no need for a test.
Swab test is necessary if your place was in the high virus-infected record, but if the place that has flatten curve record of virus-infected and if they are in a modified general quarantine level, so this is a case to case basis. Thermal testing and proper guidelines for sanitation or disinfectant will be fine.

Though it is risky for gamblers to do this, I guess if they really want to they will find ways just to gamble.

It may be inconvenient and a lot of work to do a swab test for gamblers but they still should follow what is need to do. It's for their own safety, to ensure that it is safe to gamble there and to know whether you are safe from the virus.

But I don't think all casinos would do swab testing since it will take a lot of time and work. Perhaps, like what you said. Thermal scanning and disinfecting before entering the facility is enough.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Bill Would Give Americans $2,000 A Month Until Economy Recovers on: July 14, 2020, 04:42:28 PM
But the question is, until when? We never know when will their economy recovers since the U.S. is highly affected by the pandemic with over 3 million confirmed cases. Perhaps, the government can easily give $2,000 financial assistance per month but how long would it last?

I'm not against helping their citizens knowing that a lot of people already lost their jobs because of this virus. Our government also did this kind of help, but not until now. Also, if they would take action on implementing strict protocols to protect their people, they can decrease the number of cases. Giving financial aid is a good move, but working on handling the pandemic to flatten the curve is a better action while there is still no vaccine.
788  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ang future shitcoin ayon Kay Mcafee on: July 14, 2020, 03:58:10 PM
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 14, 2020, 03:04:38 PM
Even without that kind of feature, people can still inherit bitcoin and other digital assets. We just need to plan for it since we never when our time ends. If they are actually scared of losing their assets, it's better to tell or teach people you trusted about crypto so they know what to do about your asset when you die.

Why would you depend your asset on other people to give it to your family, when you can tell it to them directly. It's still better for your family or the one who you want to inherit your digital asset to personally know how to deal with crypto. That's why I'm slowing introducing and teaching these things with my siblings for them to be aware of.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth going for me? on: July 14, 2020, 01:29:48 PM
I am following PayAccept project - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5258011.msg54681210#msg54681210 for some time now much like others here. So I like to know few things and advice from people who already have idea of this project.

They recently made a Turbo sale, which was below 1-2 cents from actual exchange price and it was sold out within 1 hour. So unfortunately, there was no opportunity for me to think or do anything.

Now I just read on their https://twitter.com/payaccept/status/1282630910005972992 that they are doing 2nd Turbo Sale in few hours.

Please tell me is it worth going for??

Don't ever invest in the new emerging cryptocurrency projects if you don't have any background about it because there are big chances that it will end up being a scam project. By the way, I don't have any idea about this project and maybe, try to do further research about this so you can know if this is worth it to invest. Just make sure you will think wisely before investing and take note, it's your responsibility if ever you don't get any profit and lost your investments. I also don't know if they will still get sold out again for another turbo sale.

But for me, it's better for you to go deeper research about this project before you engage in their turbo sale.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Limited escrow service for building self discipline. on: July 14, 2020, 12:46:05 PM
For other gamblers, it would be a great idea to prevent themselves from spending too much money on gambling. But if a gambler is seriously addicted to gambling, I don't think he will be able to think of doing this because he won't bother to think of managing his funds already. However, if a person is willing to change his vices, this could help.

In my case, I don't really need the escrow because I'm not really spending a lot of money in gambling. I still know how to limit and control my gambling desire. Discipline starts with ourselves as a gambler since we know the possible consequences of gambling.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 13, 2020, 04:56:49 PM
This whole COVID-19 pandemic makes people be more conscious about their environment and hygiene, which is good because they will start to take extra care of the things around them. Actually, the implemented protocols are not new because even without the virus, we still need to be hygienic. However, people usually forget those things, especially covering when they sneeze or cough. It's the proper way to do when you are in a public place but some people are not really paying attention to these simple manners. But due to the pandemic, I think it opened the eyes and minds of people about this simple gesture they often ignore.

But we still can't remove the fact that some people still don't want to follow these simple rules. There are people who don't want to wear masks when going out in public places because they have the freedom to do so. They still don't realize that it's the best and simplest way in preventing getting infected while there is still no vaccine available yet.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 02:24:22 PM
And other thing many countries is now considering banning tiktok  app india and US  which is also a bigmarket  and many country is possible to follow.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2020/07/07/after-india-us-considers-banning-tiktok-for-real-this-time/amp/
I have also heard about this news that some countries are now banning Tiktok and AFAIK, India already made an application that just like Tiktok. Probably, they banned it because there is some spreading information that this app is spyware which I happen to read on Twitter. Actually, I can also say that Tiktok is a good platform if you are going to promote or advertise some products/stuff because it has a lot of users around the world and even in our country this app is totally popular. And, I don't know if using Tiktok will be a good way for promoting cryptocurrencies. Probably, the changes in the price of Doge is a simple/normal dump and pump on the market.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 13, 2020, 01:57:46 PM
I would agree to what others have said if you are just looking for a one gambling site where you can play, and you don't really plan on exploring a lot of gambling sites, this forum is already enough. Since I don't gamble too often and I just stick with the gambling sites I know, I don't really need to look for too many reviews.

As for crypto gambling news, the gambling section is pretty much updated so for me, it's already enough to get updates with just reading here in the forum. But sometimes when I'm bored, I just use google search to look for some gambling news and scan some articles.
795  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: Another ETH Based Investment Scheme on: July 13, 2020, 12:48:56 PM

796  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 13, 2020, 06:10:16 AM
The government can easily phase out physical cash if they want to, and if all people would agree to this. But the problem is, it won't be easy to do that for now, knowing that millions of people are still dependent and highly relying on paper money. Moving to digital cash needs a lot of time and preparation because not everyone affords digital cash and payment.

Many places and countries are getting left behind when it comes to technological adoption so digital cash isn't accessible for them. Even with the pandemic, I don't think the government will find it as a reason to phase out physical cash. Even with the virus spreading, we can't deny that majority are still using paper cash in day to day transactions because it's much convenient. Completely adapting to the digital method will take us a long time before we can see that.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Opinion Needed] What do you want to see in a gambling site review? on: July 13, 2020, 05:28:48 AM
I don't specifically look for something when looking at a review. I'm just reading what gamblers have experienced and what they can say about the gambling site. I don't really explore many gambling sites, but when I try to look for a review, I tend to read a lot of insights to gather as much information that would satisfy me and convince me to try the site.

Also, it would be more honest if the reviews include a negative or something that they don't like about the site. But since not all reviews are honest, I don't just depend on gambling site online reviews when looking for a casino.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: July 12, 2020, 01:34:34 PM
For me, it's the essential industry which provides necessities such as foods (particularly canned goods) because it is what the government often give to their people as help. So even in terms of the pandemic or other calamities, they will still operate and even produce more supplies because of the demand. Those higher-ups are the ones benefiting from it the most because even without going outside their house, as long as their business is operating, they are generating income.

It's hard to believe if they purposely made the virus or not since there is no enough and concrete evidence, but one thing for sure is that a lot of people are already struggling so much because of this pandemic.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: July 12, 2020, 09:23:54 AM
I would not expect ATH to be achieved for ETH. but I save this asset for the long term. eth still has great potential for growth. I believe this will be an asset with a surprising increase when the bitcoin pump is run.
Of course, we should not expect too much about hitting its ATH but who knows if it will reach especially if they will release the Ethereum 2.0. I will prefer holding it and buy any amount so I can be able to store more Ethereum in my portfolio. Ethereum also have a portion in my portfolio and this cryptocurrency is also suitable for long term investment just like bitcoin. Maybe, all of us are now waiting for Ethereum 2.0 and we just need to be patient because this cryptocurrency will also bring us good profits. Probably right now, the best thing to do is to fill our portfolio with strong cryptocurrencies in the market just like Bitcoin and Ethereum. No need to panic because I know that Ethereum will totally hit again its ATH.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: July 11, 2020, 12:41:21 PM
Now the quarantine has been reopened, some sports like football have restarted, even though the match went on without the audience.
At least now we can play sports betting again, if we talk when sports have been postponed. I can still enjoy with esport betting,
or I usually play on several gambling online sites. Now with sports it can be restarted so many choices for playing gambling.
Sometimes I play esport betting, because after trying it is quite  interesting than sports betting.

It's indeed boring for sports betting during the first month of the quarantine because most sports started to get postponed. However, it's becoming less boring I guess since some sports have already resumed while the others are planning to reopen again.

It really depends on how we this lockdown. Others may find it boring because they often gamble and now that sports have been postponed, they can't do much. But just like you, I don't really gamble that often that is why I still don't see this whole quarantine as something boring in terms of gambling. Also because I can still gamble in online casinos. But in terms of the whole social life, I can say that I'm starting to get bored with all the restrictions and limitations but I can't do anything about it but to follow the protocols.
