No doubt that they'll continue even if Dana White says so.

There's a huge money that's being involved and they might have been offered with an amount that's hard to decline. Just like any other athlete, when is being offered with good compensation and talent fee, they won't think twice but will grab the offer.

The Paul brothers did discovered this niche that will make them and their opponents big money.

Dana is losing contracts as more fighters actually get off from Dana's control. Nate Diaz also was to fight against Jake but of course, Dana didn't like the idea and the contract also does not allow UFC fighters to have another event involving his fighters.
Those that are under contract, they have to honor and recognize their contract with UFC. But those that are clean and good to go, they don't have to listen whatever Dana is telling them because they no longer have contracts with him.

Unfortunately, UFC fighters losing against Jake embarrasses UFC. It would mean this combat sport is not really as ULTIMATE as it may sound if that is the case.
Still, many understands that these matches aren't really that pro unlike UFC. And this is just all about having fun and entertainment while making some big money from the hype it creates.
1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey to gift Marcy House in New York 17.62 BTC on: September 09, 2022, 06:53:08 PM
I guess there will be more participants when the people close to the location sees that there's a giveaway like around $1k worth of bitcoin.

But this is a noble move for these two because they're helping in spreading the word about bitcoin and using the resources that they have. I think that this should be for most of those enthusiasts that have the capacity in doing it.

They're just doing this out of their kindness and helping to spread the word and with the reason of minimizing illiteracy.

I also commend this kind of initiative from them, at least they are doing something good for others.
The truth is, there are more people that can afford to do this kind of activity, but they prefer not to.
We need more people like them, not only in btc or crypto, but hopefully, even fiat donators.
After all, we don't need much money to have a simple and contented life.
But most people want to accumulate riches as much as they want.
Those people that can afford to do the same and not prefer to do it, they have the rights to reject sort of activities because they're not obliged to.

They have no obligation about spreading information and that's why they are focusing in other things. And that's why for people like Jack and Jay Z and the others that are unnoticed doing such activities, it's really a noble thing to have this way of giving back to the people.

And if not mistaken, Dana White doesn't want his UFC fighters like Conor to do one boxing exhibition because of this reasons. But they are making good money so I guess they will continue to do business with Floyd and the Paul brothers.
No doubt that they'll continue even if Dana White says so.

1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 08, 2022, 10:29:02 PM
Destroying a mobile or not having internet access, will make the gambler even more crazy, if he finds someone else's mobile phone on a relative, he will definitely use it.
Yes, they're like kids that when you take their candies, they'll have their tantrums that's why it's not going to be the best solution.

An addicted gambler will find a way to gamble no matter what is the situation. Laptop, desktop, tablet or a smartphone, they will access it wherever they are at any moment they want to do it.

The case above is same as the case of my friend, unfortunately until now he is sickly if he doesn't gambling. The solution for this is appeals from within the family and people around, if he is locked up in a outlying place I doubt he will live, need a long time to recover ! But it depends on how severe the addiction.
That's an extreme case if a person doesn't gamble and he's getting sick. It's not the first time to hear it but that's really crazy.
1586  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 08, 2022, 09:57:56 PM
The most notable person for me is the owner of KFC, Colonel Sanders. He should be part of that top 5 and one of the most successful when he's thought that it won't happen to him.

I agree that success can be in all forms and that's why those that are thinking that they're quite old for something to do, they should just do it without any ifs and reasons.

Especially today in digital time, there could be a lot of ways to become successful. I see old people that are successful being a content creator in social media and they're loving and having fun with what they do.
1587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: September 08, 2022, 09:24:36 PM
Gambling definitely doesn't need to learn anything and isn't as complex as trading,
i totally agree that gambling depends on luck and that is the fact,
trading requires knowledge and skills
That's it, in trading, you need to understand the whole thing and the market for you to make a difference and earn from it. While in gambling, there's also the same thing you need to do but it's for particular games.

But to gamble wholly, you don't need that much to think of what you must do because you can just sit down and play those games that are basing the results on luck.

We can't change that fact and every gambler and trader knows it.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for September on: September 08, 2022, 08:46:28 PM
ethereum was not very popular but lately it has been very bad for few days due to gas but now gas free has decreased a lot and many people now transact through it when it goes up then others transact from them.
It's actually popular.

But that issue about gas fee was true. Many don't like what has happened when the network is asking for that much fee like it has went more than 100 gwei just for the fee.

Good thing that before the merge has happened, the fee calmed down and it's expected that after the merge, the fee will become lower.
1589  Economy / Gambling / Re: Decentraly.co - Your Place for Crypto Sites on: September 07, 2022, 10:57:48 PM
I'm just a little bit confused, I just don't get it why would bitpr0 have the "OG site". As far as I know you just asked for help with bitpr0 but is it right to give the label of OG site to bitpr0 even if this is your new own site?
I think that they're both connected for real and that's why it's labeled with that as OG site or there could be more with that story. And, only OP can tell that.

IMO, this thread shouldn't be on the Gambling board and this could be placed elsewhere like Service Discussion or Service Announcements. Well, up to the mod where he's going to place it then if it's reported to be moved.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 07, 2022, 10:09:14 PM
Chance is there but it's not that big as what we can see with Inoue. It's just slim for Butler but it's still there and has the chance to win.

It is true with lucky punches, it happens at unexpected time and we'll see if something like that might happen on this match since it's still months away.

I think it's surprising and will truly shock everyone of us it happens that Butler proved all of us to be wrong.

To early to downplay how Butler perform on that fight and we should remember that he's a champion and already prove that he's a big opponent to every fighter he meet.

Even though Inoue is really strong and at his prime but still we can't deny the fact that he's still a human and he might drop on Butler if he plays cool and underestimate Butler on that fight.
We're all just having the play on our thoughts and that's typical for fans like us to think what might happen with this fight.

Yes, we're not downplaying him but that's what we have on our perspective based on what we think about him and with Inoue. It is that Inoue is really the one that has the upperhand on this match.

Butler got a good record too but these bases are favoring Inoue.
1591  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accepted crypto for trading on: September 07, 2022, 09:24:12 PM
There are many of them OP. You just need to put time in searching for what are those countries like going to wikipedia as the start.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cryptocurrency_by_country_or_territory

Countries are scared to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender in their nations because, they fear it would degrade their fiat currency.
It's okay if they don't want to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender, there's no pressure from high entities that they should do what El Salvador has done.

Accepting crypto as payment and not banning it is already more than enough.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 07, 2022, 08:52:46 PM
His team, OKC already applied for Disabled player exception ~ Thunder reportedly apply for $4.95 million disabled player exception for Holmgren injury

It's only happening to players who are not popular, I don't hear this kind of report on star players like Durant, Kawhi, and Paul George when they were injured. Well, the team could save that amount if it will be approve, still a good amount of money.
Yeah, I don't also hear it usually from star players that have injuries. But I think this is a different case since OKC have Chet already signed and paid him with his first contract as their pick.

Still, a lot of money for an individual who cannot play for the entire season. And it's good that there are these types of exceptions for them to have that possible monetary loss to recover.
1593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Take advantage of crypto volatility] bear or bull market on: September 07, 2022, 07:53:30 PM
Having source of information is vital.

Too many websites that are existing and reporting news relative to the market and economy. And that's why it's an important thing to choose the place or news website where you're getting those information.

Avoid the temptation of being greedy too as you trade to avoid further complication with your trades or else, you'll be missing to make profits.
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 06, 2022, 10:47:06 AM
Better not to assume for him to come back this upcoming season, forcing him to play might harm his injury

and instead of bringing quality years to the league the chance for him to get a much more serious injury, or it might complicate
him moving comfortably while playing.

Enough rest and proper conditioning, he still young and with updated medical treatment with his injury for sure he can
recover and be back with a better preparation for the upcoming next season.
It's best to think of what has been said that he's out for the entire season. And that's a safe assumption for him that we'll never see him play whether it's for the playoffs or wherever his team is going to be.

1595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Live Bitcoin radio broadcast with My Local Community as the presenter on: September 06, 2022, 09:41:50 AM
Guys you're doing a great job!

Having presented the topic about bitcoin in a radio is already big. Although I usually see podcast types of discussion and the topic is bitcoin but if it's broadcasted in your local neighborhood, this is something big already for me.

I guess next time if you will have another broadcast discussion, have someone invited from the forum through an online conference or zoom meeting.
1596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 06, 2022, 08:42:56 AM
Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

100%, or if not maybe 95%.... Inoue is gonna win here, but if you will put a bet on him, don't expect an 50-50 bet, most likely your bet will only win less than 5%.
Let's say that there's the little percentage that Butler could win. The talks are that it will be like a lucky punch that will make him win this match.

Most of the upsets in boxing are made through lucky punches Grin Inoue is heavily favored to win, but that doesn't mean that Butler doesn't have a chance. There is always a chance and opportunity for underdogs like Butler to win. They just have to make things work and grab that little sliver of opportunity when it presents to them. Who knows, maybe Butler can knock out Inoue in one of those rounds and we will all be shocked in disbelief  Cheesy
Chance is there but it's not that big as what we can see with Inoue. It's just slim for Butler but it's still there and has the chance to win.

1597  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: September 06, 2022, 07:42:04 AM
@OP, you know what. Everyone can choose their own path and business. If you're for the ecommerce and freelancing, go there. And if the others are choosing to be crypto traders and investors, let them do their own thing.

You're suggesting good things about freelancing and skills and stuff. Honestly, it can also be connected to cryptocurrencies as there are projects that do look for skilled developers, freelancers and talents that needs help to work with the projects they're working on.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 06, 2022, 06:49:53 AM
Those prices that you're asking are unlikely to happen. It has a trillion supply and by which it's gonna happen, it means that we're in a bull run and the market cap for it has increased a lot.

How long its pump will last?

We don't know.

Usually with these pumps, they're not going to last and it's better for you to take profit if you can. But if you just want to watch it move up and down, that's fine because you seem to have a high standard before you sell.
1599  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 05, 2022, 08:07:14 PM
With all this in place and more opportunities yet to be unveiled as the space keeps expanding will government jobs still have much relevance in the society?
Yes, definitely.

These two fields are different and there will always be that opportunity to come for both of it. While we see too many openings are coming for crypto related jobs, the government opportunities will remain to be there.

But I hope that it won't come to a day that many people wouldn't fill those openings as the majority chooses to be self-employed. There should be balance in all things.

In my wallet majority of the share holding by Solana and ApeCoin does it be a good choice?Huh Huh Huh Huh Undecided Undecided
For now, I'll take more Ethereum if I've got available money to buy.

I guess if you're for the profit and you're just waiting for it to come then that two are likely good choices. I don't know much about Apecoin, I only know it as it become the token of those that have made BAYC.

Solana was like an Ethereum-like project but I see some flaws on it based on the news that I've read before.
