His team, OKC already applied for Disabled player exception ~ Thunder reportedly apply for $4.95 million disabled player exception for Holmgren injury

It's only happening to players who are not popular, I don't hear this kind of report on star players like Durant, Kawhi, and Paul George when they were injured. Well, the team could save that amount if it will be approve, still a good amount of money.
Yeah, I don't also hear it usually from star players that have injuries. But I think this is a different case since OKC have Chet already signed and paid him with his first contract as their pick.

Still, a lot of money for an individual who cannot play for the entire season. And it's good that there are these types of exceptions for them to have that possible monetary loss to recover.
1602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Take advantage of crypto volatility] bear or bull market on: September 07, 2022, 07:53:30 PM
Having source of information is vital.

Too many websites that are existing and reporting news relative to the market and economy. And that's why it's an important thing to choose the place or news website where you're getting those information.

Avoid the temptation of being greedy too as you trade to avoid further complication with your trades or else, you'll be missing to make profits.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 06, 2022, 10:47:06 AM
Better not to assume for him to come back this upcoming season, forcing him to play might harm his injury

and instead of bringing quality years to the league the chance for him to get a much more serious injury, or it might complicate
him moving comfortably while playing.

Enough rest and proper conditioning, he still young and with updated medical treatment with his injury for sure he can
recover and be back with a better preparation for the upcoming next season.
It's best to think of what has been said that he's out for the entire season. And that's a safe assumption for him that we'll never see him play whether it's for the playoffs or wherever his team is going to be.

1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Live Bitcoin radio broadcast with My Local Community as the presenter on: September 06, 2022, 09:41:50 AM
Guys you're doing a great job!

Having presented the topic about bitcoin in a radio is already big. Although I usually see podcast types of discussion and the topic is bitcoin but if it's broadcasted in your local neighborhood, this is something big already for me.

I guess next time if you will have another broadcast discussion, have someone invited from the forum through an online conference or zoom meeting.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 06, 2022, 08:42:56 AM
Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

100%, or if not maybe 95%.... Inoue is gonna win here, but if you will put a bet on him, don't expect an 50-50 bet, most likely your bet will only win less than 5%.
Let's say that there's the little percentage that Butler could win. The talks are that it will be like a lucky punch that will make him win this match.

Most of the upsets in boxing are made through lucky punches Grin Inoue is heavily favored to win, but that doesn't mean that Butler doesn't have a chance. There is always a chance and opportunity for underdogs like Butler to win. They just have to make things work and grab that little sliver of opportunity when it presents to them. Who knows, maybe Butler can knock out Inoue in one of those rounds and we will all be shocked in disbelief  Cheesy
Chance is there but it's not that big as what we can see with Inoue. It's just slim for Butler but it's still there and has the chance to win.

It is true with lucky punches, it happens at unexpected time and we'll see if something like that might happen on this match since it's still months away.

I think it's surprising and will truly shock everyone of us it happens that Butler proved all of us to be wrong.
1606  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: September 06, 2022, 07:42:04 AM
@OP, you know what. Everyone can choose their own path and business. If you're for the ecommerce and freelancing, go there. And if the others are choosing to be crypto traders and investors, let them do their own thing.

You're suggesting good things about freelancing and skills and stuff. Honestly, it can also be connected to cryptocurrencies as there are projects that do look for skilled developers, freelancers and talents that needs help to work with the projects they're working on.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 06, 2022, 06:49:53 AM
Those prices that you're asking are unlikely to happen. It has a trillion supply and by which it's gonna happen, it means that we're in a bull run and the market cap for it has increased a lot.

How long its pump will last?

We don't know.

Usually with these pumps, they're not going to last and it's better for you to take profit if you can. But if you just want to watch it move up and down, that's fine because you seem to have a high standard before you sell.
1608  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 05, 2022, 08:07:14 PM
With all this in place and more opportunities yet to be unveiled as the space keeps expanding will government jobs still have much relevance in the society?
Yes, definitely.

These two fields are different and there will always be that opportunity to come for both of it. While we see too many openings are coming for crypto related jobs, the government opportunities will remain to be there.

But I hope that it won't come to a day that many people wouldn't fill those openings as the majority chooses to be self-employed. There should be balance in all things.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto has the highest potential?? on: September 05, 2022, 07:22:54 PM
In my wallet majority of the share holding by Solana and ApeCoin does it be a good choice?Huh Huh Huh Huh Undecided Undecided
For now, I'll take more Ethereum if I've got available money to buy.

I guess if you're for the profit and you're just waiting for it to come then that two are likely good choices. I don't know much about Apecoin, I only know it as it become the token of those that have made BAYC.

Solana was like an Ethereum-like project but I see some flaws on it based on the news that I've read before.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 05, 2022, 06:18:49 PM
And that's why the crowd is with him.

Even not fans of his are also talking about him winning against Butler and this is likely a judged match already. But not until it's finished, we have to wait for the actual match to come.
Of course, everyone knows how good Inoue is, and we don't know Butler much, he won because Casimero was stripped with his belt, he is not really a real champion like Inoue whom he destroyed all his opponents.
And everyone just want to see him being destroyed by Inoue. No matter what the records of Butler, despite it's also good to look at it, everyone's thought won't change on how it's likely that he'll be owned by Inoue.

Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

Yeah, exactly.

Too many things to consider by Butler and look at it as a challenge and motivation that he should throw some great punches that will prove that the fans are wrong and he's that great.

But still, we'll see it then if he's going to be that one great puncher against Inoue which we know that he can really win on this match even it's not yet started.

as I said in the post above, I didn't see any site putting Butler as a favorite, on the contrary most sites I saw are all saying that Inoue will win this fight. I also believe that Inoue will win
And that's why the crowd is with him.

1612  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT A STORE OF VALUE on: September 05, 2022, 08:54:49 AM
As for gold, what if equipment and heavy duty machineries don't exists? Then gold and other precious metals don't have a value and they're not a store of value?

The comparison about the arguments relatively to the value of bitcoin is getting odd every time someone is trying to convey and compare it.
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 05, 2022, 07:51:54 AM
Yes.

There is a big factor that flood do affect the economy. Imagine those transport of goods that should be on the right time for delivery and the same goes for the travel and commute of office workers and other things that needs to be transported.

The delay of their transport is also causing a delay of the money that flows in the economy of a country. That's why huge flood control projects must be implemented and the climate change also has something to do with this. But mainly, one cause of flood is due to the trash and garbage congesting the flood ways.
1614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Super Rich people have nothing to worry about Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology on: September 04, 2022, 11:59:03 PM
They're not worried at all.

In fact, they're one of the first people to understand what the future might like be. Those are telling that they're worry or doesn't like bitcoin and its technology.

Don't be gullible with anything they say.

They're the first ones to see the potential of an asset and they're capitalizing what they do. It's all about the information and knowledge that makes them rich and whoever gets it first will take advantage of it.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: September 04, 2022, 11:00:38 PM
I wouldn't say that Etherium will go below 950$ now . But looking at current market condition it can be predicted that Etherium can be down at 1.4k but if Etherium need to cross again 2k then it will need to be create a resistance on 1.7k to 1.8k . Currently We have not seen anything like that now. So you can wait for more dip for investing.
It's unlikely that it will fall back to $950. Well, those people that have been waiting for its price drop missed buying when it's low.

This is the wrong thing about waiting at the lowest that you may think. Because if it's already the lowest price that could be on this cycle, you'll not see it again when it starts to recover.

As the merge approaches, it's very likely that the price might be higher. So, if $1500 - $1600 is an ideal price for those who think it will be more than that, buy.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 04, 2022, 10:16:12 PM
None of them I can suggest.

On this bear market, nothing beats bitcoin, ethereum and the other common altcoins that has been so popular in the market. I may forget about BNB but many dislike it.

So, aside from the three that you've mentioned, there goes these top cryptocurrencies that you should take a look at. I know some altcoins could come like a fury and might give you that tremendous return but they're like the lottery.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 04, 2022, 09:47:56 PM

But still, we'll see it then if he's going to be that one great puncher against Inoue which we know that he can really win on this match even it's not yet started.
Lots had been anticipating that this would really be an easy park walk by Inoue on this fight but we are really just underestimating too much on Butler.Preparations would be surely made and Butler is fully aware

as much as we do that he would really be fighting against a tough and powerful wall considering that we arent that blind on what history does Inoue has when it comes into its previous fights.
Some do even conclude that it would only last up only 2 rounds which is something that on the real side but we dont know on how this would be ending up.
It all matters on preparation and on how these fighters would be trying out to knockdown their opponent.
We're just fans and it's part of us to underestimate and be part of the hype. That's what fans do when we analyze and there's nothing wrong with it.

If we can just tell direct words to these players, they might even take those words as something to encourage them to show the best fighting stance that they've got.

Well, as for the others that are concluding that it will only take 2 rounds, it's on them and that's what they analyze on this match.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 04, 2022, 09:15:27 PM
The fan of his would also acknowledge that possible lucky punch despite all of those percentages of winning that has been shown.

Not a disrespect but this could be taken by him as a challenge and prove everyone that he's got what it takes to beat the champ. Well, that could just be his mindset upon looking at these odds and percentage that's shown to the public by many speculators.

Most likely that will be Paul Butler's motivation here, because he is a huge underdog so his mindset should shift gear and focus that he can do it, be positive against the Monster.

So in the first couple of rounds we will see if he can stay with Inoue and that motivation and his big heart of him will be enough to counter the power of Naoya and survived the distance. But I doubt it because Inoue is truly an amazing fighter and complete and still improving every fight.
Yeah, exactly.

1619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto day trader groups on: September 04, 2022, 08:45:26 PM
I don't have anything to suggest.

You're already on the forum that there are some traders that shares their thoughts and analysis on the market. Just as said by mk4, signals group are total shits.

They're not going to give you the guarantee that you'll earn. Well, there's no guarantee on this market whether you've got them on back.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 03, 2022, 04:28:56 PM
It does not look good on the side of Butler, everyone is thinking that Inoue will win this, that -3300 is a big statement, big disrespect.
And hey, 97.1% chances of winning, it gives Butler an almost impossible chance to win.

As expected since the beginning and even that fight is not officially dealt with.

It's even fortunate that Paul Butler was given around 2% of winning the match  Not a disrespectful comment from me just to be clear.

Even though there's a thing called "lucky punch", Butler doesn't have the strength to give a fatal blow to Inoue even if he is able to land one.
The fan of his would also acknowledge that possible lucky punch despite all of those percentages of winning that has been shown.
