1701  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US is the most aggressive country on: October 31, 2022, 02:28:29 PM
Essentially, US money is really only good in the US. Oh, sure, some countries play around with the USDollar. But most of it goes to buying something from the US.

US money is good everywhere. Nearly every country will take it either directly or exchange it to local currency. No other currency in the world comes close to the versatility of the US dollar. It doesn't matter where they buy something from... they all want US dollars as evidenced by the rising exchange rates.

You should really travel abroad, maybe to Russia which you're so fond of. Even Russians love US dollar, especially the benjamin variety.

All you are doing is confirming the point I made. Whether US money is spent in the US or elsewhere,

You said "US money is really only good in the US. ."

Suchmoon said "US money is good everywhere."

That's the opposite of confirming the point you made.
Is that confusing for you?

its true that USD is the most used currency today. they news that's coming out everywhere however is not good for USD especially when Saudi Arabia is trying to move away from USD. which explicitly express they are ready to use digital Yuan.

sooner we'd all be worrying not to use Yuan also because fiat system is broken which we all know the rise of BTC is what is preferred not just to fight inflation but as precaution so banks and government can't seize the people's money.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are five things you will do if you win huge amount of money?? on: October 31, 2022, 02:09:32 PM
the first thing that i would do is to buy a boat and start living on it like a sea nomad. get food from the sea and cook on my boat.
i will figure out the 2nd thing that i would do from there like. buy a beach front house or find a new woman to be with.

i'd still be investing BTC though so maybe that's all that i would do for the rest of my life. so much to do with a huge amount of money but we can spend it in just a month in buying things we don't even need like a luxury car.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎵 What kind of music do you listen when you gamble? 🎶🎧 on: October 31, 2022, 04:03:37 AM

The Winner Takes It All by ABBA.
i don't see it having difference whether there is background music or not. but i'd write it anyway because when it comes to gambling this song always comes in my mind. losing more money is like no more ace to play. this is kind of a gamblers song actually when you read the message on the lyrics. not all sort of a love song.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: October 29, 2022, 03:16:15 PM
what i think he meant is that he wants to invest in BTC and earn thru it that he can withdraw money to spend for his daily needs. it would make sense for someone with low capital and needs to provide for himself to survive. this can be done in leverage trading. but him being a newbie, it will be very difficult to achieve without much trading experience. his best way of getting more profit is to hold for long term. as for his daily spending, he needs a job.
1705  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: October 29, 2022, 02:09:18 PM
Regulation of cryptos is good if done properly. No investor wants to invest his money where there are no security of their funds. Institutional Investors needs regulatory clarity before they will invest their money and the industry needs their money in order for the market to move, If there a proper set of rules / guides in cryptocurrency space to help protect investors without altering the decentralized nature of Bitcoin , Therefore, I support regulation that will protect investors.

we invest in BTC where regulators can't control though. if crypto industry is just too little and not popular today, the authorities wouldn't really care about it as they will just see BTC as internet money meant for gambling. we're just find without regulations.

its only the institutions that needs the regulations which they can ask to be bailed out like what happened to Celsius and the likes.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pres.Nayib Bukele: Stop Drinking the Elite’s Kool-Aid on: October 29, 2022, 01:04:21 PM
And this year, the crime and homicide rate has decreased by 95%."

this must be a mistake because the picture in my mind every time El Salvador is mentioned on the news is that you end up dead inside an oil barrel filled with cement if you get tangled with the violent gangs in the country. of course its what we hear on the media.

when Bukele started making noise mixing up with BTC, i begin to change my view though. at least i can see in my mind gangsters using BTC wallet on the Bitcoin beach.

seriously if he succeed in making his country richer and can pay their debts, aren't we suppose to be happy and proud to that?
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 29, 2022, 12:29:44 PM
It will be a big problem if Charles will chase him trying to claim half of the winning amount. It's only a slip, there will be no proof of Charles's claim that he has a part of the bet amount.
Even if it goes to court, he will not win.
All he could do is ask Kelvin about being a true friend. Maybe make a dramatic script and just try to take back the ROI and maybe some win if he will be touched with the scripted dialogue.  Cheesy
Break that friendship afterward, and learn from the mistake.

I hope there will be some proof of their partnership I mean that they both have the agrrement that whatever may happen they will get the half half of the jackpot, but if not he can talk to Kelvin it is really sad seeing your friend being so selfish about the the thing that you must have as well.

Money can change people so he must be glad that money show the true color of his supposed to be friend. Maybe if he don't have a chance to change the mind of that guy maybe he should start to move on and avoid him. For sure there are lot of opportunity to win that again so its really better to avoid toxic or fake friends since you can't trust them on any means.

its not time to be a pussy and trust already broken. charles would be very angry just as anyone who lost a huge amount because of a friend who stole from him.

heck a plan is to be executed. stake out and wait for kevin to go out of the house and knock him out in an ambush.
seize any money you can find in the house. damn it, this is a raid!    Cheesy
1708  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat in trouble on: October 28, 2022, 05:53:24 PM
governments will soon be revising policies to maneuver this crisis and since this is a like a snowball rolling from the top, its gonna be harder to stop it which they will need to print more fiat bills if they chose not to invade another country's resources.

we may not hear it from the news but people from European countries are already protesting. Moldova alone recently have a big one.
crimes will rises as well. Pelosi's husband just hours ago was hammered.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: October 28, 2022, 03:36:55 PM

the government is very hawkish to BTC, so turning it to POS will really destroy everything that Satoshi worked for. SEC will eat our lunch money after turning BTC as security. don't give so much trust to these greenpeace and call for renewable energy, they are also backed by motives. so you have to figure who benefits when BTC goes POS.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino with an online and offline branch. on: October 28, 2022, 03:26:05 PM

its easier to roll out an online casino and can massively advertised to all without having to worry since owners can be unknown. a land case casino will likely be want to have their own digital casino too, this is way easier to promote online for they can build trust easy. but its unlikely to see online casino planing to have their own physical casino, that's too much of a work for nerds who just want to sit and work smart online. 1711  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: October 28, 2022, 03:16:42 PM

So does this mean Elon Musk can even tweet whatever he wants and influence the market since he is the owner of the platform now without someone censoring him Huh Because I believe maybe before now that would have happened if he posted something that might be inappropriate for the market or seen as trying to manipulate the market.
If I'm not mistaken, then Elon Musk became the owner of Twitter, but even if he was not its owner, he still would not have the right to manipulate the market with his tweets. Although we have already seen him do this more than once, and no one reacted to it in any way, which may be a signal for him that he will go unpunished for this. I don’t know what this deal can change, but for now everything remains as it was, it’s just another toy for a rich person.

We still don't know what his purpose is to buy Twitter but speaking of him using Twitter to manipulate the market I don't think so. He did it before and was soon discovered by everyone and if he continued to do so, not only would he get nothing but his reputation would also suffer.

Certainly the acquisition of twitter is not for the purpose of the crypto market, but it is reported that binance also contributed 500 million to Elon in this deal. With this news, I think it will be good news for crypto in the future as CZ is one of the most influential people in the crypto space.

the man doesn't really have interest in politics, he is already rich. but he explained it that twitter is important as it will serve as the digital town square for democracy to implement. and sure he has plans to make BTC or doge on twitter like the plan they have with previous twitter owner.

i've read it somewhere, its kinda funny theory that he was pushed to spend billions to save the particular people to send to Mars if nuclear war will happen. seem not happening now and his project postponed. so he is fighting back. i wanted to see a twist to this story if there is just a movie for it. yip its a crazy story only a methhead can come up.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost 50% of Gen Z and Millennials want crypto in retirement funds: Survey on: October 27, 2022, 05:15:14 AM
Gen Z and millenials are not stupid. They see the current financial system is failing and only crypto can replace it. That's why they want to have crypto in their retirement accounts. When they get old, these accounts will usually be their only source of income and because crypto assets have been the best performing asset of this decade, they want a piece from this action. Only if boomers were this wise too, then the price of a coin would be at $100k+ but no worries. It is their loss. Crypto will prosper with or without the boomers.

if they consider farming on staking on Defi platform, i think it will still be good. this is if they have a good amount to make a living despite the volatility. this could not be possible for now but may be in the next 10-20 years where they are ready to retire. they better work hard to get more BTC from now on.

the old pension system are also risky due to the rising inflation, there's few option left for retirement funds as some countries are even selling gilts already.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: October 27, 2022, 04:40:33 AM
This list should be further qualified. This is not black and white. Legal and illegal means more than just allowed or prohibited. In Japan for example, horse betting is allowed or betting on motor races. So there are exceptions. In Singapore for example, there are big casinos where foreign and local gamblers are allowed to play. The country is actually issuing licenses for gambling operators. So gambling is mainly illegal only to those that don't have the license.

and people can go to the license casinos. doesn't make sense for the government to ban gambling while they are providing licenses.
probably the reason why China is not listed since they also have casinos in areas still part of China like Hongkong. its just the grey area where the authority partners with casinos or can extort casino businesses.
1714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: October 27, 2022, 04:18:32 AM
traders are split on this speculation. but some are saying last june was the macro bottom where it plunged to $17k. if this is true then you are not the only who missed it.

if we are down to more than 70% and the marketcap is down to 1/3 and we are still uncertain if we go below $20k again, its a good time to buy. you are already in a good position to wait for the bull market.
1715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: October 27, 2022, 03:11:05 AM
In cryptocurrency market, it is hard to succeed if you are relying on news. Because news are faked and used to manipulate the market. If you believe in news, you are believing in market manipulators. Manipulators don't make you rich, they make themselves richer but you will get poorer.

The more effective strategy to succeed in crypto is to ignore news and focus on fundamentals of projects that you are interested in and want to invest in.

hard to detached global politics when it comes to crypto news nowadays especially now that regulators are making a fuzz and there is banning and blocking of bank accounts. if we can't trust the crypto news flowing from youtubers, i think we can just rely on the TAs.

if the software is going to pull some news and send the relevant to your inbox, just subscribe to the blogs and youtube channel using your phone, you'll see the notification on the phone.
1716  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US is the most aggressive country on: October 27, 2022, 02:39:28 AM
Putin will do what he said he will be doing. in the past weeks, he said he will respond harshly if the claimed 4 region will be attacked by Ukraine. I think Ukraine or Zelensky believe what Putin said so they attack instead Nordtream 2 and the Crimean Bridge. it turns out these projects are important for Putin and he did fire harshly blacking out large portion of Ukraine thru Iran drones.

if Putin said he will drop a nuke, he might just be. if provoked once again. but i've seen the news that US and Russia are already talking, that's good. maybe they will settle disputes.

See this short article to see what is really going on https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2022/10/25/armageddon-is-closer-than-you-think/. Apparently Putin is a bit wishy-washy. Nobody knows the reason. His patience could end any time. He would beat the Ukraine just like that, and it may or may not start the big nuke war.

Cool

menstruation?  Grin
if Ukraine has a dirty bomb claimed by Russia the more he'd be inclined to nuke while US Calvary is also close already in the borders ready to go all in Ukraine. that will push the armageddon.

while Putin has a huge submarine that can launch a nuke on US shore. that's pretty scary for both worlds. US is already buying meds for nuclear radiation as if its normal to prepare for nuclear war. can it really save?

Are you familiar with Ponzi schemes? Because, that's what is behind this war.

The US banking system is a literal Ponzi scheme. This means that they need more and more people or entities to join the scheme to continue to have success.

The world will run out of people and entities to join the US Ponzi banking, sometime. The big problem for the US is that Russia is pulling out of it to some extent, and the BRICS agreement is making something that would actually destroy the US Ponzi banking structure.

This means that the US is fighting for its life in this war. If the US can take Russia down, the other BRICS nations will fall, as well, and the US Ponzi banking will continue for a long time yet. But if the US fails against Russia, the whole US banking system will crash, all at once... maybe not right away, but shortly thereafter.

Cool

not likely. US can just shift to BTC reserve as there had been suggestions of this.
BRICS having a lot of nations trying to join because of the gold standards they have been talking I think will really be more attractive compare to the Ponzi you are taking about. Saudi Arabia wants to join the BRICS, they are speeding up the stroke to get away from the dollar.

meanwhile US also wanted to push the war as means to escape the declining hegemoney. EU has better chance of making the peace actually, their leaders are starting to oppose US sanctions. if they fail against Russia, then BTC it is. the war may continue, i don't think Putin will stop also, this mad dog is determined, he is carefully strategic to bring nations on his side and its working.

we're all spectators and we can only watch until the dark clouds covered the sun. i hope not. there is no much reason to live life.
1717  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people withdraw their generosity during crisis? on: October 26, 2022, 04:25:47 PM
In life, we all battling with uncertain behaviour, that one will wonder why certain characters occur when one needs a helping hand most. we are facing some difficulties in our communities and families, and the people you think will assist you to sort things out seems to be the ones to disappoint you.its seems to me that person don't value life, they shows concerns only when people  are celebrating and withdraw when things goes wrong. Such life should be discourage in the society.  We should not only show up when things are working, we should always stand in good and bad time.

we only learn to value wealth and money when we hit rock bottom and people we use to count on are not lending their hands. its a hard way to learn life but its what is happening during crisis. you will feel betrayed when they run towards you when they need help but are not there when you need as well.

i'm not surprise anymore with such situation for even siblings are fighting over an inherited house of the parents. the worse it will be if they are just step brothers/sisters. crisis brought out the worst in people.
1718  Economy / Economics / Re: cryptocurrency and the UK's new prime minister on: October 26, 2022, 04:04:26 PM

It's definitely going to become more common that politicians will try to regulate cryptocurrency related activities, it is an "easy win" as far as they are concerned. The majority of their money will be sat in company shares, so what does it matter if some new regulation comes in, which can be sold as cracking down on money laundering or excessive energy wasting activities at the current time? They've been fairly hands off with cryptocurrency so far, but if they get the treasury or the bank of England saying it's a good idea, they'll jump at it. They'll put the burden on the big banks to monitor and trace these sort of activities, so there is little cost involved either.

what i am looking at here is the fact that the father-in-law of Sunak is the founder of Infosys, which is involve in IT services. which means, advancement in blockchain tech would be very much welcome to his agenda. but of course, the regulation from the government will always be there. i am just thinking that it won't be a problem to introduce blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies in their financial system because the new PM's family is already into the IT industry.

amazing how coincident this could be since Infosys is also the IT company that developed national ID system. there is no better way to connect the dot here but looking into the backgrounds of the leaders.

they already have a database ready before they finally launch the CBDC. so anyone speaks against another proposed bill, they regret what will happen to their freedom.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Best gambling Token 2022? on: October 26, 2022, 03:47:52 PM
Most of the most successful gambling tokens are already discussed here and a couple of them have even a signature campaign to distribute some of those tokens in their platform to their users. The real problem is now not which gambling token is the best but why no one of them is so successful that gets massive adoption as I think these tokens are created for a value, sure the value depends on how the casino distributing them is performing but normally their price should increase and be used even for other activities in order to be truly successful tokens.

I think we already have the best cryptos which have massive adoption in the crypto casinos and specific tokens are only being used by specific users so I don't see a reason why everyone should support them, this is just my personal opinion though but I believe from what I hear from many crypto gamblers they are gambling with traditional cryptos like Bitcoin,Litecoin etc.

not everyone will support casino tokens. like any altcoins, its use is often just to grab BTC from those who tried their luck and invest.

but its lucrative to be partly owner of casino that's why. bank roll was even a better option but the creation of tokens can make it more like a money making for a holder who can also sell the tokens in bull market.
