I think I finished the "frameworks" (not sure it's the correct word)

As you can see the GUI and the WUI are simple and ugly
If someone here has some graphical skills and has some ideas, please tell me what to do

As per the thread update and our reddit post http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1mnn5f/bitcoinaveragecom_now_open_source_and_other/ , the project is now open source. So feel free to continue with feedback and feature requests!
Awesome!!
1725  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Brute force private key tool? on: September 18, 2013, 06:07:57 PM
It's actually quite possible to brute force keys. Simply put: Humans have not put together the right technology to even make a dent in the unimaginably huge amount of keys. Maybe with future technology though.
It requires more than the energy of contained in the Sun to count (yeah, only count) to the maximum private key number
So yeah, not really "quite possible"

I thought it would auto-update after 6 hour, but it doesn't appear to have auto-updated...?
The update was made only two hours ago

I'm glad you like it

I would prefer a function which searches through signatures for a given string / list of strings and blocks those who have that string / list of strings. That way you could block all those annoying casino ad's by just entering "Casino".
what about a global color stripe? that'd fix some eye-cancerous signatures / posts
Good ideas

Massage from the artist:

[Received] 262 hands now. If you think of that in terms of lives.....changes things a bit don't you think? If it could be reversed and we could save 262 men, women and children from dying wouldn't you try to push for more if it meant saving those lives? Similar to keeping the memory of them from being forgotten.

I think someone must tell the artist that 262 hands != 262 human lifes

I think someone must tell you that 262 hands !=  is only 131 human lives, unless there are a lot of one handed people sending pictures.  Tongue Tongue

That's exactly what I'm saying

bitcoin-qt doesn't index the first transaction
That's why Satoshi can't redeem it

1735  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Choose the new Pywallet name] - Pywallet 2.1.5: manage your wallet on: September 18, 2013, 09:57:36 AM
Oh yeah I misread!
So your wallet has 530 keys but pywallet only finds 255 of them.
I can't do much more where I currently am. All I know is that a brand new wallet is correctly.
I'll try to inflate a wallet and see how the recovery behaves.

I love grep, I should really think about using its options!

Well, the 510 is still normal as pywallet imports both addresses for each private keys. 530 != 2*255 though...
I can't reproduce so I don't know where this can come from.
Could you use -A 2 (Grin) to check that the following lines are
Quote
"secret": "xxxx"
Or maybe
Quote
...|grep -w sec -A 2 | grep -wc secret
1738  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Choose the new Pywallet name] - Pywallet 2.1.5: manage your wallet on: September 18, 2013, 09:04:39 AM
The first count can be wrong, hence the "X possible keys"
So it's normal than it's above the real number of private keys it imports
For instance with a new wallet (1 shown address + 100 pool addresses) I get that:
Quote
Starting recovery.

Read 0.0 Go in 0.0 minutes

Found 0 possible wallets
Found 0 possible encrypted keys
Found 159 possible unencrypted keys
The wallet is encrypted and the passphrase is correct

Importing:

Importing key    1/101:
You could compare a dump and a recovered wallet.
I'll check why it's so above though.

As for the second matter, please grep this instead:
Quote
"sec":
Because there is an "hexsec" entry (which should make the count 510)
I don't know where the 20 remaining occurences can come from

More like plugins
Having that in apps would be cool though
Like wordpress plugins etc?

Also, I have added description boxes to bid pages.
Edit your adspace to enter the information.

I'm asking for my bitcointalk.org "plugin"
It's a userscript that adds functionalities to the forum (see there if you want to see if it can be accepted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=264337.0)
