1741  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 02, 2019, 10:22:04 PM
Investment on the Bank just giving little profit and investing money in bitcoin or altcoin getting much profit but have faced with big risk when bitcoin or altcoin price dump, how ever bank and bitcoin investment have positive and negative side, ready your self before take one of them.

Why would I ever worry about putting my money in the bank? Robbery? I don't think they have that weak of security. Banks give a small profit based on the money that you have in your account. We should not even compare these two since if you will be talking about investment, I will obviously go with bitcoin and other crypto currencies, not the bank with that faucet profit.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: September 30, 2019, 10:54:41 AM
For me bitcoin look like a bridge between the all other cryptocurrency and Fiat currency.

And what is the connection of it to its ups and downs? Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency, that means no one, I mean nobody or no company or institution owns or controls it and that its only reason for movement is the market and its investors. It is down since the demand fell down, it is normal for bitcoin to be like this because it is volatile.
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2019, 10:16:15 PM
As far as I know, this is also the reason why Manny Pacquiao's coin is made. I don't know exactly but I think they are the same. Impact? I agree that they are years late and I don't see any great impact of it jn the near future. Though in our country, there are a lot of mainstream fans of this KPOP and in a way, I think it might have an impact to those fans and not as a majority.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 26, 2019, 11:05:47 AM
Less bet amount and huge rewards attract people towards lottery than other gambling games but also the winning part in lottery is highly not possible but we can win on any other games we bet atleast few times. When people get the intentions to make lot of money by overnight they will pick lottery is the game to play.

AFAIK many countries were banned lotteries particularly due to lot of scam.
Indeed, the lottery ticket is cheap that anyone can afford to buy especially the less fortunate people thats why even the chances to win is slim many are still trying their luck because if you win your life will definitely change.

I don't understand, why would they even think that it would be that easy. The government will not just hand those millions to that person without taking a percentage of it. If you will be watching the video in the OP, you will be realizing that it is not that easy. Either take a big bite out of that cheese or give it to you pieces by pieces and complete it in time.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 22, 2019, 01:43:21 PM
To me the idea of a lottery is you pick some numbers and their is nothing skillful about it
The fact that there is no skills used in lottery and the huge amount of jackpot are the 2 reasons that I think why most people are choosing lottery to gamble their money compare to other games where skills are used.

Easy money as other people would say it, but not really. Despite the 2 reasons that you said, another thing is that they are being entertained with it. For example, in my coubtry PCSO are the one holding this lottery and a lot of people in my place buys lottery ticket because they have a number in mind for example a birthday or something that they've dreamt of, it is weird but it is true.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 22, 2019, 10:03:17 AM
I think most of the gamblers are those who don't know where to use their money.
or most of those guys are only want to have some good time with their friend to hang on gambling site.
So the answer to this question is most of them are rich just wang to hang out sometimes with their own money.

I think they know how to use their money since there are a lot of rich people that gamble their money. Even businessmen and some wise people are also gambling, they just want to have fun or either want to earn a profit. We can't say most of them since I think the most people that want to gamble are those that want to became rich easily and I think that is between the rich people and the poor people.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World’s first offline system for transacting cryptocurrencies! on: September 21, 2019, 04:28:50 AM
I regularly read blockchain-related technology news and realise that this is one of the security features for your assets. However, offline transactions can still cause errors, and this is what worries me, we still need to verify the absolute value of the offline exchange. However, with offline, you can ensure the safety of all Bitcoin and Altcoins.

Well, the idea of an offline transaction is quite more concerning than the safety of bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I don't even know how will that work but I don't see that happening in the future. It will not cause errors, it will not worry you since this will not be a thing. Or even if it is a thing, I don't think people will like this.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: I am Building a Crypto District in New York City on: September 21, 2019, 03:17:41 AM
And I believe it can be done!!

Japanese proverb: "The water of even a great ocean comes one drop at a time"
Japan and America are countries that legalize cryptocurrency. if in new york like that, your dreams can come true

It can be, it can't be. I know that the OP is wanting to help the community but there will always be an opposing party and I am not talking about the people disagreeing here, I am talking about the people that will abuse this crypto district when it is already built, someone that has the power to increase the tax from it since they can't tax investors of crypto currencies directly.
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: September 21, 2019, 02:21:38 AM
Well, I guess it is already happening since the Bitcoin dominance makes it possible to let those altcoins left behind despite of the stability of the price this past few weeks. There's no way altcoins would go beyond and surpass Bitcoin if the current state of the market declares the outcome already.

It is the first crypto currency so obviously it will be dominating the market despite a lot of competitions, if I should even call it competitions, in the market. As you said, there is no way that these crypto currencies will be surpassing bitcoin. With a lot of its supporters, investors, and users, bitcoin will continue to dominate the market no matter what time and price it has.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 21, 2019, 01:22:06 AM
Well, the words Dirty money is that money came from stolen and something you are committing crimes just for money or those illegal activities that you can earn money. If you had gambled with provably fair with your opponents or even the house edge without cheating the outcome on that is clean money and that is not dirty money. Indeed, the profit on gambling through honest way is not a dirty money.

but some religious people don't care about if the process is fair. the reason why they consider gambling money dirty is because it is said
on they're bible, quran etc.. that gambling is a form of sin which is greed it won't matter to them if it was fair as long as it came from gambling it is a sin for them.

As a Filipino, I don't think money from gambling is dirty, unless it is really illegal in your country. In our country, gambling is used widely to pass time, it is even used at nights when there is someone dead, we call that "lamay". It is a tradition in every "lamay" to gamble, either card games sometimes Bingo are being played, accompanied by coffee and biscuits until dawn.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 20, 2019, 01:39:33 PM
Gladly, I don't want to remember my losses so I can prevent myself from trying to recover my money. That will be difficult to do, and I know that I don't have good skills in gambling, so that is why I try to forget my losses. Let us think that gambling is for entertainment for our life, so we will know that we don't have to expect to make a win. Once we remember this, that will help us to have fun inside the games and not thinking about how to win.

But deep inside we are still hoping, that is true though. When was the last time that you bet your money and just think that I will just bet this money and be happy with it? I agree that we should look at gambling as entertainment but we will never remove that feeling, that hope that we can win despite that bet is just based on what we felt on that number or dice, or whatever.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 20, 2019, 04:00:30 AM
It's like some kind of gambling. And obviously people like to buy lottery ticket in order to test their luck at the same time. If luck favor like playing cards and if it's your day then there high chance of winning the lottery. And if you get this one then I am sure your luck will turn. All the best!

You're saying it as it will happen eventually and that easily. I knew a lot of people and they are using their money to buy lottery tickets for years and all they can get is those runner-up prizes, and that is the reason they are more addicted since they think they are close, but they are not actually. I'd rather bet on sports I watch rather than on lotteries. Tax is also the worst in these games, beware of that.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 19, 2019, 11:05:55 PM
I don't think so that holding is a form of gambling. Gambling involves game wherein you can win or lose. Holding is just your strategy to make profit so with this you need to always check the market to monitor it's price not like in gambling. In holding once you can't sell your bitcoin during its high price only the profit will lose not like in gambling that if you lose the game you don't have profit and you lose also the capital so you need to go back with nothing. So gambling is worst than holding.

For me, gambling is anything that includes risk. Holding is also risky hence we can say that it is gambling. Let's say you are holding a crypto currency and you never know whether it will be profitable to in the future or not, so you hold it risking it. Investing in a crypto currency is always a risk since we are dealing with the most volatile investments in the world.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] KSI vs Logan Paul 2 on: September 19, 2019, 10:40:41 PM
I don't recognize their last match since it is a game-changer in terms of the YouTube stars and then they get a draw, it is really disappointing. I won't be expecting much in this match, all I know is that Logan can win this game with a knockout as long as he keeps his fuel on check. If this did not end up in a knockout, then KSI will probably win. You heard it here first.

I didn't know these guys but I've heard about Logan Paul, these are the people popular on youtube, right? Can someone give me the brief reason why these two had their match before?
With this rematch they've got now, this is going to earn them too much money again. Since these two are well known personalities on the popular video sharing site, youtube. I didn't know the whole story why they made up themselves up to a fight.

Well, it started with Joe Weller where KSI won and at that time, Paul Brothers are trending on YouTube that is why KSI challenged initially Jake Paul but it ends up him fighting Logan Paul. More information here, standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/why-do-ksi-and-logan-paul-have-beef-history-of-youtube-stars-feud-a3919716.html
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that bitcoin is needed, even by developed countries such as US of A on: September 19, 2019, 10:09:12 PM
Yes you're right. It's just like US helping bitcoin to patronize by people because of their wrong moves. But as you said it yet the time for bitcoin to replace fiat because a lot of people still don't have any idea about cryptos. And I'm also hoping that that bitcoin price will go up soon.

They are not helping bitcoin to be more popular, they are doing it for themselves and not for that reason. It is been done for years, and when a crypto currency, pumps the price, they will be saying that its price is been made out of thin air, yet they make billions of fiats. People might hate fiat but the status of bitcoin and other crypto currency wi stay the same.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets think Bitcoin as an investment not payment system, is this right? on: September 19, 2019, 02:09:59 PM
With a lot of people investing in crypto currencies, and also those investors earned a lot of profit for a long time that it is available, people would be wanting to also experience that profit with the volatile cryptos. Some investors don't want bitcoin but there are a lot of them that wanted it, I guess it depends on the user whether how will they treat it maybe as a payment system or an investment.
1757  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: September 19, 2019, 01:27:28 PM
What makes us a good investor is when we are brave enough to take a risk because investing with bitcoin or any cryptos nowadays really need bravery. But of course taking a risk should not work alone you need to have a critical thinking to decide if that altcoin you invest in is worth.

Every decision is always a risk, especially with investments in bitcoin and other altcoins, courage must be there because it is the key to success in the future as the bravest investment.

Courage? I think knowledge is more important than that. With the risky market like these, you really need to be knowledgeable to whatever might happen in order for you to make good decisions that will lead to good profit in the future. Also, if you really are a good investor, you can manage your money well. Doesn't mean you have a lot of investments, you are a great investor.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 18, 2019, 12:26:09 PM
I don't see bitcoin in your pool then how can I vote?

You already can see bitcoin is dominating the crypto market and in future as well it is going to be.

Maybe you think it doesn't have any intrinsic value to it but it has that is why people is buying it and preserving for the future usage.

I don't know but maybe you missed it, it is already in the pool and I think bitcoin is not included to what they OP is saying. It is true though, it don't have an intrinsic value, but obviously I will be going with another USD. The idea might be used in the future and we will be seeing a USD in this technology.
1759  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: September 18, 2019, 10:52:07 AM
The reality is that not everyone has an acess to the internet and not everyone has knowledge about it. We can't always rely on the internet since it's not always available specially if we're not reachable by the internet service provider. No matter what happen, physical currency is still needed specially by small people who can't or doesn't have a time to connect to the internet.

The worst problem here is that they don't even know how to use or even access the internet. In our country, there are still a lot of people that can't use a mobile phone correctly. We are still in the phase where phones are still new, there are still a lot of poor people here. If they can't even use these technologies, having an ISP does not matter. That is why fiat or physical currencies are still needed, it will be a long time before these people keep up with the technology.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 18, 2019, 10:08:59 AM
I don't think we still need to ask this since we all know that even they are poor or rich, their status does not matter, what matters is that they should be responsible and will not be pushed to be greedy with this. Rich can go poor and poor can still be poorer.
