I made a really nice profit when I bet on Kroatia to win against Argentina last time. The whole match I was thinking that they couldn't possible win, but they were strong throughout the whole match.
Made around 300 euro profit on that bet.

again slow rates, it's very bad, so it's not interesting to play
I personally think there's absolutely no fun when you're playing with less than 10 satoshis. I mean it would take ages to win anything. Even if you have the lowest faucet, you'd still be better off placing just one or 2 larger bets.

I've personally never made use of stablecoins like Tether, for those reasons listed in this article. I really think it doesn't have enough collateral, so I'd rather work with an actual fiat exchange than use Tether.
Had never heard of Havven though, might look into that instead.

That's not a working product though, I wouldn't add this to the thread just yet. I can't access their product as an end-user, unless I'm missing something on their website... On the timeline it's mentioned that they will have a pre-launch in August.

No, I've never done that and will no do that because I want to protect my anonimity and don't want any additional risks for my life (if a big sum of money is in trade).
What are you talking about dude? P2p transactions are abundant and doesn't really compromise your security unless you provide all your wallet security data. I'd done a lot of face to face btc transactions in the past both with people i don't know and with friends There are definitely risks when you're doing face-to-face transactions with someone you've never met yet. People have already been robbed when meeting up with someone from Localbitcoins. Of course you can avoid that from happening if you pick a seller/buyer with hundreds of legit good reviews.

The cryptocurrency will be called Akoin. And not only is Akon planning to launch the cryptocurrency Akoin, he also aims to build his own Crypto City in Senegal, media reports said. I wonder what they mean by 'building a crypto city'? I have nothing against this project, everybody is allowed to do whatever they want in that regard. Unless it's a scam ofc. That said, I don't think that an ICO will be the end all solution to poverty and world hunger.

I don't know who is crazy enough to pay to remove a pixel just to see something that can be found all over the net for free It's for perverts Even if it's too see someone famous if she/he agree to show her/his ass I guess it's already shown somewhere on the www The idea is good to re-introduce micro payments with BTC
I also completely disagree, I know for sure that people would be willing to pay for something like that. It's the personal aspect of it and the uniqueness of those particular photo's. You would need some sort of verification system to ensure that your models are who they say they are. So people won't just get free images from somewhere and pretend to be that person.

Oh no, I just misread it, you did mention to add the extended site link. Of the sites I've have mentioned, I'm not going to add http://www.resilience.meIt doesn't seem to be updated, while he's also still asking for donations through Indiegogo.

Traders who did in-person trades via Localbitcoins have already been robbed. Criminals will definitely find a way around getting to your coins.

Okay, you might be right to say that Bitcoin itself is not a bubble. On the other hand, we've clearly seen that the market was in some sort of speculative bubble, when we saw the prices rise to 20k and subsequently drop to under 10K
If you don't think that's a bubble, you're misguided.

I'm definitely interested, gave you a follow and I'm going to listen to the first one during work tomorrow. Just checked out the first couple of minutes and it seemed interesting.
I hope that you have some great guests on in the following episodes, that ex JP-Morgan hedge fund manager would be a great start.

Are you using a Segwit address? Can't imagine that you'd pay that much when you're using segwit. Would be interested in seeing your transaction hash, because you haven't mentioned the size of the transaction either.
Don't think I've paid more than, say, 0.00005 BTC in fees per transaction since I've been using Segwit.

I was out of gambling for a while because of my emotional gambling nature. I try to do sports betting as mathematical as possible but often I get overwhelmed by loss. I had decided not to bet above $100 on any bet. Germany being my favorite team, I put a $500 bet against Mexico, which I lost. That increased my frustration and I came to bet $1000 on portugal. And to my luck I won it at 1.65 odds. But if I would have lost, I would have been cashless and betless for the rest of world cup.
Why do you keep betting when you literally put everything on the line? That's straight up addiction when you place stupid bets like that, betting almost an entire months wage. I'd definitely take some time off and reflect whether you still want to continue gambling after that.

I would personally not invest in something like this, because I find services like this to have the exact opposite effect of what they're intended for. I see no reason why women wan't just use regular taxi's, sure sometimes you'll have unprofessional, bad taxi drivers, but I don't think that happens all too often. Initiatives like this create unnecessary divide between men and women, all for something that isn't a widespread issue. In fact, it is a great gesture in the direction of women empowerment. You call that empowerment? Very empowering, to be too scared to take a freaking taxi...

People's greed of 500% to 1000% profit. Bitcoin $50,000 etc.... when will people learn..
What does your comment have to do with the topic we're discussing? This is about people losing money at Coinbase, because Coinbase is holding their funds hostage or they were lost due to errors made by Coinbase This isn't about greed in the slightest and I'm not even sure who you're responding to.

Yeah politics & society would be a good board as well, but I'm fine with leaving it here. Maybe there just aren't that many people interested in it Might change in the future though.
